Back then, I was hooked on the eerie atmosphere, the suspenseful hunts, and the raw tension that made every sound in the woods feel like the Rake was right behind you. Watching those videos sparked something in me — a mix of fear and excitement that stuck with me for years.

Now, finally playing it for myself, it’s like stepping into a memory. The game might not have all the bells and whistles of newer horror titles, but that’s exactly what makes it special. There's a nostalgic charm in its simplicity. The visuals are gritty, the sounds are chilling, and the gameplay is pure: hunt or be hunted.

Playing with friends brings back all the fun I remembered from watching it — panicking over distant screams and setting traps. It’s the kind of game that pulls you in and doesn't let go, especially if you grew up watching early YouTube Let's Plays.

An old classic. Feels less polished than Bigfoot, but with more charm and fear factor applied here. The monster feels almost intelligent at times, not just a pile of code to shoot at.

Interesting experiment for a game concept. It has a lot of potential. However, the Developer really needed to refine it. Improve what works, discard what didn't work. Right now its just an interesting concept, decently polished, but just doesn't work. Hunting the Rake can be tedious and boring at times, and frustrating at other times. It feels like it tries too hard to be scary but forgets to be fun, and satisfying. It's too much of a chore to beat this game and when you do, it's underwhelming.

I like blowing a big hole in between a tiny creatures eyes and then watching it scurry away

Not the greatest graphics but is is a almost 10 year old game. But amazing game play so that makes it way better than it already is.

I would highly recommend this game, despite it being an older game, I like it better that way because its more focused on being scary than realistic, I like it better that way.

This game is just silly fun, fun that can be had with a group of friends. This is for someone looking for a good laugh while in this somewhat scared state or a group of friends looking to watch the Rake eat a poor, helpless pig.
