i loved every moment i've spent playing this game. the story was cute and touching, and the gameplay amazing i enjoyed it so much that words can't even describe it.
I can't even play, the first section is bugged and I can't move.
Extremely fun, unique and colourful puzzle game :P
لعبة جميله واستمتعت اكثر بعد تركيب الترجمة
الغاز حلوه وممتعه وقصة حلوه اللعبة خذت مني 5 ساعات بس استمتعت فيها
almost ate my controller in anger playing this
Played for 2h, had fun...
but then somehow my colour picker changed its' designated key to esc and I couldn't change it, because the menu was completely inaccessible to me. All I wanted to do was to turn off music in the game, didn't touch any other setting.
Tried reinstalling the game, nothing happened, came back to the same moment of game with the same settings.
Tried deleting my save from steam cloud, game literally unplayable because there's a black screen.
Tried other solutions I've found online and nothing helped.
Maybe don't allow the system to change designated keys to esc, when it's the only way to open menu?
I wasn't the only person affected by this glitch btw. There are more people
Also! My ps5 controller wasn't supported, even with steam's support. All I could do is move foward and backwards. Recommending playing with controller my ass
Started out great, but then, quite early on (so I'm assuming this is going to be part of the gameplay mechanics for the rest of the game) they start throwing annoying little platforming "puzzles" at you there are different landing zones in different colors, and you have to select the proper background in order to land on them. You find yourself, for example, standing on a purple block (with the background blue). There's a blue block somewhat above you and to the right, but you can't land on it unless the background is purple. HOWEVER, if you change the background from blue to purple, the block you're standing on disappears, and you either fall to the bottom of the screen and/or die.
So you have to start jumping towards the (invisible) blue block (you just hafta sorta remember where it is), jump off of the purple block, THEN quickly change the background to purple so the blue block (that you're HOPEFULLY going to land on) appears. Rinse and repeat. Oh, and if you fall, you have to do them all over again.
and I'm one of those people who wants to sit back, examine, reflect, and THEN come up with a solution, not HAFTA AIM THE LEFT STICK SORTA THIS WAY THEN PRESS THE JUMP BUTTON THEN QUICKLY AIM THE RIGHT STICK AT A PRECISE ANGLE AND AT A PRECISE TIME AFTER PRESSING THE JUMP BUTTON (NOT TOO EARLY, NOT TOO LATE) OR ELSE YOU FALL AND HAFTA DO (POSSIBLY SEVERAL OF THESE) ALL OVER AGAIN...
Songs and their stories remind me of her.I wish I had more time to spend with her.
Cute short puzzle game.
The levels are not that hard to figure out once u give it 2-3 mins of thought. Overall it was a fun game, would recommend. However it has only 4-5 hours of gameplay, so it gets over pretty fast. The achievements need one more playthrough to complete.
This was a simple, easy to follow (gameplay and lore) game that wasnt too easy. I'm far from a pro at puzzle platformers and this was able to hold my attention without being too challenging. it was so cute too!!
Wow what a cool concept I hope this game actually did something with it other than small puzzles.
- cannot disable screensake
- color change is not suitable for mouse. The color changer appears at the players position instead of the current mouse position. So you cannot simply swipe in a direction to choose the color you want. You have to constantly account for the players position. Not only this but a color is selected by default (in an unintended direction, because of direction/position issue), and there is no way to cancel the operation. This causes disorientation and you can't remember the previous color, choose incorrectly and die.
- There is lot of backtracking. Sometimes you see the hidden room after almost solving the entire level, You can make you way back to collect the secret and then again to the door which is a lot of work, or you can just die and restart the level to get the secret. There are also many secrets in the initial levels locked behind a locked color, Feels punishing.
- The game also is not forgiving at all, leading to solving and resolving the parts of level you have already cleared, because you made a wrong move or selected the wrong color, which happens a lot since the color picker is not suitable for mouse.

Interesting take on using color-based puzzles in a platformer. Some parts are a little hidden or take a while to cycle back to, but generally good.
Colorido mas tranquilo, único problema é nas fases finais que se tu cagar porque foi burro tem que refazer muita coisa
A mix of puzzle platformer and action platformer which doesn't succeed very well at either - the puzzles aren't that hard to solve but often require precision timing, and there are no checkpoints to break up the levels. The colour switching is a nice mechanic but would be better served by more puzzle-y level design.
Cute, short and sweet. Got a few tricky puzzles. Nothing special. 4 hours to 100%.
PROS:
- Puzzles start out a bit brain dead but if you're willing to be a bit patient they get really tricky, especially the last world is a mind bender.
- Some really neat mechanics related specifically to switching colors, as well as the usual puzzle fare of lasers, buttons, and moving platforms.
- If you liked Limbo but wanted a bit more story you'll be pleased with the occasional narrative beats, all color themed :)
Now why is this still a negative?
The collectibles, specifically the straight up *sadistic* level design that requires you to backtrack without adding extra challenge. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this ruined an otherwise great title for me. If you're OCD like me spare yourself the frustration.
I liked this, pretty good.
A very enjoyable puzzle game with a nice storyline. The graphics are simple but elegant, but mesh perfectly with the story mechanics. A budget portal - though TOTALLY different.
very calming and beautiful
This is the best puzzle game I have ever played. All the puzzles are interesting, one doesn't get bored playing this. It requires certain level of intelligence to solve puzzles and it feels satisfying when you solve puzzle and move to next level. The colour mechanism is very creative. I would definetly reccomed this games to those who like puzzle games, archade games and mario like games.
Fantastic little puzzle platformer with an interesting story, a good level of increasing challenge as you learn the game. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend!
lovely cozy game
This is a great game—a puzzle-platformer where you play as a boy searching for his mother. The gameplay is excellent, centered around dynamic color-changing mechanics to solve puzzles in each level. The visuals are stunning, with perfect collisions and interesting details in every room.
The music is good, though it becomes a bit repetitive, so I ended up turning it off about halfway through the game.
The achievements are quite easy to obtain. However, I didn’t notice the collectible flasks at first, so I missed them in the first two sections of the map.
Overall - great game
Not sure how I missed this cute puzzle platformer with the elegiac quality when it was first released. Come for the brain teasers, but stay for the haunting piano score.
Hue is a very interesting puzzle platformer that is based on the colours of the rainbow. Switch between the colours to solve a variety of puzzles and platformer sections. It gives you time to think, since the game slows down when you are choosing a colour from your ring. The puzzles are cleverly designed, although the difficulty spikes quite a bit in the final area. The lore itself is quite interesting and philosophical. The one thing I would like more clarity on is Hue’s family situation. The collectibles are very difficult to find and hidden very well. Overall Hue is a very nice puzzle platformer that you should definitely play.
I absolutely adore this game! It’s a brilliant puzzle-platformer and you literally swap colors to solve puzzles, and ngl it’s SO satisfying. The whole vibe is cute. we are a boy searching for our lost mother, is touching, it’s mechanics and how insanely pretty it looks that had me hooked from the very first minute! Every puzzle feels fresh and rewarding I’m completely in love with it. If you’re into puzzle games, IT IS A MUST-PLAY
mmmmmmm..... slop.......
Really cute puzzle platformer! If that's your thing, get it on sale, as it's only a few hours of content.
I think the puzzles themselves were a good mix of fun and challenging, and you could figure all of them out with a little experimentation and thought. Later levels got more complex and therefore more frustrating when you had to start over, but that's standard for the genre, and I don't think things ever got too repetitive. My biggest complaint is that the last level was a little disappointing because of how frustrating it was, and I wish it could've ended on a more satisfying note. Overall though, the mechanics were interesting and progressive enough to keep me interested the whole time.
The story isn't anything mind-blowing, but it is cute and the voice acting is solid. I don't think this game needs to be more than that, considering its length. (My subtitles sadly glitched out at one point while my washing machine was going, so I missed a section, but it doesn't seem like I missed anything important).
If you get this for cheap or as a gift, it's worth a play! If you're looking at paying full price, just throw an extra $5 at getting Celeste.
Well, My final verdict this game is a flop and I really wanted to loove the game but alas...
First let's start with positive things:
1) Concept. I have never encountered such idea with the color wheel and I really liked it, even though many can find this concept not orginal;
2) Voice acting and artstyle. Kudos to team for their work, they really hit the spot for the general vibe of the game;
3) Easy and simple mechanichs. There is not much you can do, you just need to figure out the right action order and the level is done;
4) Puzzles until University levels. They did a great job for combining fun and challenging aspect of the puzzles.
Now, to not so much pleasant stuff:
1) Story. I am beyond dissappointed with infuriating story ending, it makes zero sense and shutters all the bond with the main characters. I persevered the last level and anticipated that my efforts will be rewarded with great story, I coudn't be more wrong. I was giving the impression that mom was and will be unreachable in this dimenshion forever. Save your tears over sobby story of divided parent and son, cause mom is totally safe and sound, chilling and waiting for Hue in the Univesity... Whaat, make it make sense?;
2) University level. I am ashamed to tell you how much I wasted time to figure out the solution to first University puzzle. I f**ing hated it, for some of these puzzles it feels like they wanted to make them as tedious as possible. Sometimes, university levels made me want to slam my head against my wall until I passed out, cause one mistake and do the level all over again;
3) No skip level button;
4) Bugs with the color wheel. Be prepared when you will have all the colors unlocked, that game can bug and the color can be not the same that you selected.
]Do I recommend this game? Hard no. Will I replay it? No. Do I regret about wasted time? Yes.
Definitely recommend, especially if you can find it on sale (I dunno if it's worth $15, personally)! I LIVE streamed about 9.5hrs here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIzH9WIzdtk&list=PLUHSUpU5IAbd2gAQ6ei0OgUSbdyNwwESJ
Chat really seemed to enjoy watching this, really appreciating the colors & graphics & helping with the puzzles. I was really glad to stream it.
Shows up as a perfect game when all Steam Achievements are received.
I'd played this on the PS3 or 4 back in the day but never finished it & I'm happy I decided to give it another shot on PC with controller.
Thanks to these 2 guides that helped me with the final achievement of collecting all the beakers after my initial playthrough: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2131313857 &

My only real complaint is that I had to uninstall/reinstall/start/restart the game a few times to EVEN START moving the character out of bed. This is a known bug I guess but since I knew how good the game was already, I was not about to give up tryin to play it. Once it finally started, there weren't really any other issues performance wise.
Operator wise: It is easy to over shoot the intended color on the wheel & that probably increased my game play by ALOT. LOL
