About the Game
E.T. Armies is an action-packed, fast-paced, science-fiction first person shooter. The game takes place in a dystopian future in which Earth’s resources have been depleted. Abandoning the planet seemed to be the only avenue for survival but not all could leave. Those left behind have become united in their struggle. It’s just the beginning for the Forsaken and the start of their devastating plan for vengeance. The Forsaken hungers for supremacy and power in equal measures and war is its lifeblood.

Story

Well it's a great normal FPS game nothing so much special but i believe it's worth try, the story is well simples and nice
graphics are excellent for a game when come out in 2016.
weapons are good and interesting enemies, dont remember so much but i believe the game have potential even being too generic it's pretty cool.

Generic Unreal engine game which starts good but becomes worse and worse once you progress. The game is graphically adequate though it overuses effects a bit. The combat is sluggish with slow movement speed and long reload times. Due to the large weapon sway headshots are difficult to achieve. This all is not much of a problem in the early stages but becomes a hindrance in the latter levels where endless waves of enemies are thrown at you.
Normally I would give an indie team the benefit of the doubt but when a game becomes a chore to play I can't be positive. It's a bit pity since these people know how to operate the Unreal Engine though the game just need a bit more polish. If you are a fps fan you could take a swing at it since the first part was quite okay.
I was looking forward to some simple mid level scifi shooting gameplay and thought this should be fine for some short fun.
I havent played MP since no one was on, so I cant judge that, but here is the rundown of single player.
Graphics and audio are not impressive, theyre fine for the most part, until you get to the cutscenes where they seem really dated.
Gunplay seems kinda alright ..... I mean, weapons do damage, but nothing really impressed me. Getting a good shot with the sniper rifle long range was a hassle since its constantly moving.
The AI was annoying, it isnt particularly smart, its just trying to surround and take you on with numbers. It also often starts popping up from behind when you kinda dont expect it.
The story .... simply doesnt make sense. I finished the campaign in about 2.5 hours, but I have no idea what I was doing and why. The conversations of the characters simply didnt make sense. What they were talking about, why, what it was meant to achieve. Its simply a mess. There were familiar sounding words here and there, but the cohesion is non-existent. As far as I understood this game was made by Indians or someone therefrom, because the English in this game isnt very well spoken. I dont have anything against them, but they clearly needed someone with more refined English skills to check their conversations.
For the price of the game, I dont recommend this. Maybe if its on sale and you dont have anything to do. But even then....

Graphics are prety good and that's about it. Can't get a decent framerate no matter what I do. Your character moves and feels as if he weighs a ton and is extremely slow, especially reloading. Not a very good game.
Ok so let me say that i actually bought this game because it was made by game makers in my country (IRAN) . But i refunded it ! I know trailers hyped u it actually did me 2 But , let me say :

Not recomend is at all !
This game has an almost impossible aiming system. In a FPS that is
the most important feature. Enemies pop up in small hordes and you
are dead before you can even point at them. It also has no save option.
The game will save at different points and often you are stuck replaying
a large chunk of the game if you are killed. This game looked fun but i
became so aggravated that I quit before I reached chapter 2.
I have to mention, Yes this game was released on Steam Platform in 2016, the game itself is much older.
They shown it in Iran back in H.G 1390, equals to 2011 (or 2010).
So.... yeah
And also this is UDK (Unreal Development Kit) NOT Unreal Engine 4.

Before anything, I played E.T Armies at all three levels(Easy,Normal,Brutal) finished that hard work is really unbelievable!
The positive points of the game as good graphics, varied locations, good story, but short, the process was smooth and challenge missions.
Weaknesses in the game which are not few:
Aiming very hard, endless onslaught of enemies, the poor AI enemies and especially allies, silly Achievements (NEVER miss a shot and finish the game,Only use Parsis weapons to finish the game,Finish the game on Brutal level without dying,...), weak dialogue, sound effects low-quality (Soundtrack could be more effective) and etc
It was really amazing to me, harder to kill an enemy with the aim of killing without aiming, and when aiming and firing, the gun was shaking more !
There are very few players in multiplayer.
and unfortunately there arent Iranian servers & that's too bad

This game just make darksouls ashamed !.sometimes you're just surrounded by enemy and there lots of drones that's flying around you and are not even able to find a safe place and that could result lots of fails.anyway ,as a fan of sci-fi shooter games for me it's kind of lovely game and it's really worth the price but there are things that can make this game even better.
first i started the game i was a bit disappointed about the game.lots of hidden walls around, enemy spawn system was kind of weird for me and even there was no place for them to take cover at and sometimes you seeing them that they're stayed at one line.and level design was kind of beautiful but to be honest it wasn't what i was looking for.
but after the first part the game it just keep getting better and better,no more hidden walls ,lots of "dark"(old style) sci-fi places which is exactly what i like to see ! (especially indoor places).places like this: https://imgur.com/J4AWoRB for me is kind of superb,lots of nice feeling in it.
There could be some kind of slow motion system in this game something like what we've seen in fear games.
And about the audio effects,it's not dated or something like that but it makes me feel that i'm under the water and enemy just keep shooting at me from outside.and it's one of weakest parts of the game.
gameplay and gunplay,both of them is smooth and nice but sometimes your running to an enemy for close attack or better shooting and then starting to shoot but you will find that your bullets have no effect to the enemy and for some reason there is no melee attack in single player and in that case you just have to die ! (it's the same in multiplayer mode and sometimes bullets have no effect to the enemy especially from close distance)
And about the enemy,wish there was some kind of big as& robot in game,that could be way better idea than spamming lots of drones around the player and could result lots of epic battles.and enemy bullets have a bit high damage to player especially according the number of enemy that exist at one place and in most of times you don't have that freedom to run between stuff and you just have to find a cover to stay at.
and about the multiplayer,it's really fun to play and maybe the best part of the game but wish there was some kind music in maps cause it's makes me feel that i'm just running in a dead place especially with that weird (enemy) weapon sounds.and sniper should have some kind of effect (after shot) at this moment it just making lots of campers in the game and that's not good at least for a dead match mode.
Meh. Game feels clunky, absolutely basic controls. Audio feels dated. The whole thing feels like a college student's project. While the lights and environments look good, the rest of the game feels like it should have been released four years ago.
On top of that, the multiplayer portion may as well not exist. Currently four servers available and all are empty.
It's a mostly functional dude-shooter. Nothing really else to say. Kinda bland. The plain cheerios of the sci-fi shooter world.
Raspina Studio (an iranian developer) after 3 years of hard work did a great job. They also had an action-adventure game called "The Dark Pledge" (تعهد سیاه) but they canceled it:

E.T Armies Singleplayer is entertaining with eye-catching lighting and environment.
However, The multiplayer... Campers, Campers everywhere !
I also have the local persian version of the game and it requires game disc every time... Steam version is way much better.
One of the most generic shooters I've ever played.... but also one of the most SOLID shooters of the last five years. A simple, standard FPS with a normal "War Sucks" message, regenerating health, and guns with genuine feedback. Using cover is required, but instead of a pre-rendered cover system, you must actually use POSITIONING and TERRAIN.
While there are a few problems with invisible walls over low obstacles, generally the game is good about making the staircases easily visible. For an indie-game on sale for $12? More than worth the price. As an added bonus, the translated voice acting lends a sense of charm to the entire game, and the visual designs, while pretty generic, are generally colorful enough to prevent boredom, and the environments, while bland, typically make sure everything important is vibrantly colored. All in all, I'd say this is an above average game, and that I look forward to more from this developer.
I don't know what game the people in the other reviews are playing but this is nowhere near being a "great" game. There is definitely passion and a concept but the execution leaves me wanting to play better shooters. And I think that's the one thing this game does so wrong, it's presentation just feels cheap.
The sound effects sound muffled or that they came from an early 2000's shooter. The voice acting is hilarious and your character's catchphrase seems to be "Yes Boss." Just the things the characters say in this game are uncomfortable and unnatural. For example, HQ or headquarters is called headquarter in this game and responses to questions don't sound right. Now the voice acting can probably be attributed to the script which I don't believe has translated very well from the original language to English. You'll also notice that there are grammatical errors all over the place ingame.
Furthermore, he gameplay feels slow and a bit uncomfortable. A good comparison would be how the Starship Troopers shooter was, it feels out of date despite the fact that it's a new game. It's almost like the whole game is just missing that fine polish that one would expect from a modern day shooter. Maybe I'm just spoiled by all the big budget shooters we have now-a-days but there are still indie shooters I would recommend over this one. Insurgency, for example. Control is tight, guns feel meaty and effective in that game. They don't here.
On the plus side, the graphics aren't half bad. There is some tearing here or there with a really weird haze that surrounds items sometimes but for the most part the game looks competent.
In summation, save your cash. While not a terrible shooter, it's not a very good one and there are far better games on the market for the same price or less.
