There's an Academy for practicing tricky sections, 6 Time-trial courses to master, one super long Warp level challenge plus a full bonus 3D racing game thrown in.
Over 100 levels all with optional random seeds so you can learn them by heart or just tune in to your quantum side and go free-style.

Chromadrome 2 is the game I always wanted to write. It's now over 10 years later and it's the one game I still come back to and experience the euphoria again and again.
Anyone remember the sister game I wrote for iPhone Snail Mail? This is that on acid and then some!

Ok i am actually dumbfounded that it took me so long to find this game, the art style may not be your favorite, but if you look past that, the dev put their heart and soul into making literally everything else about the game way better than snail mail, it might be a little easier than the first game, but with the amount of new gameplay features, and new effects to play around with, you have SO MUCH MORE customization.
I'm still baffled this game is only 3 dollars, you have 5 modes, 4 of them play around with the theme of the vertical scrolling, but then you have a RACING mode, which is honestly a whole new game, it's kinda janky but in a fun way, this has been such a fun experience as someone who's wanted more Snail Mail like gameplay, and this game does that justice. You will finish the game in about ~10 hours, but there is endless content if you do random level generation + play around with the games bonus feature modes. This was a treat, really happy I found this!
I wish steam had snnail mail, this is good enough
I remember playing this on my super old Windows XP computer
brings back so many memories
its fun
best of the best <3
As a child, this game was one of my top favourites. I could never afford the full game, so I used to find many websites hosting the timed demo and replay it over and over again. The other day, I remembered the wonderful music of this game, and wondered what had ever happened to it. I am so happy the devs made a Steam port, at first I couldn't believe it was the real deal! Thank you devs for making this game playable so many years later in 2023 <3
This game is an all time classic masterpiece. I bought this gem yrs. ago on Reflexive ... RIPieces. Until tonight I couldn't remember the name of it. I always knew it started with a C (-:
goog game.
feels good finding this after 5 years
Nostalgia ... I didn't know this game was on Steam. When I was little, I played this game because its demo version was added to the game magazine. Since I was a child, I dreamed of playing the full version and now I can. The music is divine and relaxing, as is the whole game. I've been fed up with modern FPS games lately. I highly recommend this game.
best!
A blast from childhood. Still beautiful, trippy visuals, (lots of bloom, motion blur, distortion filters etc, highly customizable) and spacious, calming, slightly melancholic soundtrack.
Gameplay is very arcadey, but can get very challenging depending on what you want, it has many modes and challenges to achieve, of many possible difficulty settings, it's up to you.
i used to play this game as a kid and playing it now that im a young adult brings me so much nostalgia. all of my friends say it's a fever dream, and i agree, but it is the best fever dream i've ever had. a must-play for anyone seeking a game that's mid-2000's! <3 kudos to the creators
As someone who has never heard of this until now I cannot see the appeal.
Amazing! :D I love this game!

No options that accommodate for people who suffer from motion sickness, which is a big problem for a game that not only goes very fast but also has a game mechanic that spins the camera round 360 degrees very quickly, sometimes in quick succession. This is the only reason why it's Not Recommended for me, along with the fact that the developer doesn't seem to be active on Steam at all. If you don't have this issue and you're interested, please grab it, it's great arcade fun (if a touch janky on the collision detection.)
I first played this game as a Demo that came as part of some sort of casual compilation way back in 2007 or 2008. The website to buy the game was rubbish and I couldn't afford it anyway, so I bootlegged it. Fast forward a two years and I had a good job and tried to buy the game, but the website was gone. Long ago I lost the files for it and haven't been able to play it since. Only looking at the icon when I'd browse my backup drive on occasion. This is just one of those games you don't really forget. With the stock music, great visuals, and fun/ smooth game play, it's really a treat. Sure, some of the levels can get annoying, probably rage inducing for some, but for the stuck moments, each level offers the ability to select a randomize option.
The only bad thing I can say is that the tutorial is annoyingly slow. But I've already played through the whole game a few times.
It was my favorite game. But the steam version is complete disappointment. Poor graphics, controls are terrible. I set mouse sensitivity at 100% but it' still not enough. I set my mouse's dpi at 2500 and windows mouse sensivity at full and it's still have terrible controls. It stuck at side barriers. Why did you think accelerating movement (control) will be good? I bought this game while I playing old version recently and the old version is much much better than this junk. I hope you understand my terrible English. I love this game, if controls are change as old version I will much happier.
I didn't think I would like it more than snail mail because of nostalgia but I was wrong, this one is way better. I'd rather play as the snail but i'll get used to it.
Three dollars is so cheap for how much is in it so you should give it a try, you'll definately know whether you like it or not within the refund period.
even though it was released in 2007 it still holds up pretty well as a cheap but exciting puzzle/racer game. it uses a form of art style that cant really get old and for a few bucks its aneat game.

My first game WAS the first game that was easily available to the public .. Pong. I remember the horror on my Daddy's face when I told him I was gonig to connect it up to *his* TV. He swore I was going to blow it up. LOL. Later I went thru the Atari 2600 phase and then in 1993 I found the internet via a 2600 baud modem, my phone line and my computer. Shortly after that, the WWW was made and the internet exploded. By 1998 I was building my own computers because I had learned that store bought just didn't have the quality 'guts' inside that some of the games I enjoyed needed.
I will turn 60 years old on July 23rd, 2017. It's been a wild ride watching the game industry develop and become what we all love today. Yet, as I think thru all of the games I have played thru the years, which would number in the thousands, there are only a few that really stand out and call to me. You know what I mean, that special game you played and played and just never really got tired of ... but then lost in a hard drive crash or something, only to find out you couldn't find it again online!
Welcome to Chromadrome 2. This is one of those few games I got 10 years ago when it was first released, loved, played and then lost in a crash. The next 5 years I thought about it so often, wishing I could play it again to experience the excitement of the race, which is enhanced more by the great soundtrack, then add in the vivid optical effects and colros and just .. WOW!!! I finally did find it again not long ago via the Developer's website, but only found him, via the greenlight section of Steam. I bought it immediately from his site, but that was a one time deal and not secure for future downloads like Steam, should I ever have another drive crash. You can be assured I will be one of the first in line to buy the game again as soon as it's available in here! I so love this game, the challange it gives me, along wtih the frustration it gives when I'm just sooooo close to the finish line, then make a wrong move. Heh, there's no other game quite like it.
