The abandoned twin sisters were named Ariel and Belle. They didn't remember their parents, nor how they ended up in the orphanage. From the start they weren't like other kids. The girls really loved one another and were inseparable. They could predict the future, notice details that most people overlooked, and hear voices no one else could hear...
Visions haunted them throughout their childhood - strange apparitions, like echoes from a childhood they never knew, trying to make contact. With age Ariel distanced from her mysterious reveries, but her sister was still plagued by them… And then, one ominous moonlit night, Belle disappeared.
Resolved to find her missing sister, Ariel sets out to look for her. She begins her search at Belle's apartment. Soon it becomes apparent that something terrible has happened, and a closer look reveals a secret message. Belle has been kidnapped, and she begs her sister to help her.
Following the kidnappers' trail, she ends up in some backwater European town, where it seems as if time has stood still since the 18th century, and the air is filled with magic. Chatting with the locals, she learns that things have been restless lately: bloodless bodies have been turning up, eerie howling could be heard at night, and the skies are filled with strange silhouettes.
While exploring the mysterious land, Ariel meets people that miraculously turn out to have been friends of her parents. They reveal to Ariel the secret surrounding her family, and also explain the evil nature of recent events. The dark forces are preparing a wicked ritual, for which they need the blood of her sister - the last of the guardians. Ariel rushes into the lair of evil and disrupts the ritual, fulfilling her role as a guardian and rescuing her sister! However, evil has not been fully purged from the land...

Beautiful but flawed game.
I recommend for the amazing art, thick atmosphere and good extra content. The bonus chapter itself is just a section of the main story that is played apart but the game gives a lot of cool bonuses like wallpapers,screen savers, soundtracks and even an in game shop you can buy artworks and more soundtracks with in game currency acquired solving puzzles (there's no microtransactions)
The flaws i mentrione are related to some gameplay aspects like:
- Sometimes you have the right item to interact with the right spot in the scenary but the game wont let it be, cause you need to be further in the story to "unlock" the interaction, that causes confusion because you may think said spot isn't interactive at all after clicking on it before and nothing happened
I believe the right way to do it is to cause a change in the scenary trough a puzzle or cutscene, making it clear for the player that there is a new interactive spot avaliable
-For some interactions more than one click is need, so i recommend clicking at least 3 times when trying something, just to be sure

Got this on a deep sale, it's rough around the edges, and clicking quickly sometimes doesn't register, but I got about 3 hours out of it for less than $2 Canadian. Moon logic.
I really enjoyed it.
This is a Hidden Object Adventure game. It has lots of HOPs, puzzles, & mini games and a bonus game.
This story & game play flowed well.
There is no map, but the hint button works very well.
The journal is nice but doesn't write down clues, so a couple of notes taken down on your part here & there will help.
I will play this again.

Good graphics, fun puzzles and smooth controls. The music is occasionally a bit intrusive, but I really enjoyed playing this game.
Ok. I'm not going to recomend this one which is a shame. It had alot of nifty ideas about puzzles. Much more so then your average HOG. But there were too many things wrong with it. Hit location is wonky which is a problem when the entirety of your game involves clicking on things. It happens alot. The Hidden items sections sometimes have a hidden area that is not obvious. Honestly I just used the clue thinger rather then waste my time. The story is meh but not horrible. Music is ok but really started to get on my nerves. Like battle music in the middle of a HOG scene or puzzle where it didn't make alot of sense to be. Another personal beef is quite a few combination puzzles did not really make sense. Once you collected everything you might be ok but otherwise you have a pile of crap that you know should be combinded but no idea how to do it. There is no map. Annoying. But as a bit of a stopgap to you running around the entire world, it will not let you advance if you still have things in the area to find. Which in hindsight was nice but is annoying at the time. At least for me. Honestly don't pay money for this. If its free, in a bundle or a deep discount maybe play it? I mean it is fun in a frustrating sort of way. Just don't think it's worth the price of admission.
I play a lot of these types of games and I was pleasantly surprised. Great price, and I am going to look for more by the same companies involved...
There is nothing bad in this game but, nothing exciting neither.
Just for fans of any hidden-object game.
Story line is boring typical and doesn't glue very well the different scenarios.
Graphics are ok. Puzzle solutions aren't always logical.
I miss some map to jump from one to other scenario.
Sometimes to select one object of the hidden list is a mess, the hotspot area seems very narrow.
I play a lot of these kind of games but rarely do I find a glitch. Everything was going great until I had to use the help button and it pointed at a gravestone but it cannot be touched as there is an idicator arrow that comes up and when it sends you there, that place has nothing using the help button. I hate wasting my time.

It was okay but oh, so so tiresome. I might have enjoyed it more if I was under 7 but I'm decades past that so I found it a bit childish. Quite a long game with a reasonable amount of HOGs but I was constantly wishing it was over. When I finally trudged to the end I was awared with an extra level... and more trudging. The art work was only just passable and the HOGs were reasonably challenging. The hints were required at times and were accurate and relatively quick to recharge.
I would give it a neutral recommendation if I could as it is too childish but it is a long game so I give it a thumbs up.
