Museum Mode contains a comprehensive collection of history, high-res art and original concept pieces – a mega treat for any fan of Mega Man and video game history.

shit game
good shit. only problem is it doesn't have proper 4:3 support. This collection was obviously made with 16:9 monitors in mind as It letterboxes to 16:9 on my 4:3 crt monitor.
good colletion
Eh no one needs a review for any of the Megaman Legacy collections...be it the OG, X or Zero sagas...if you even came across this game, chances are - you know what you're going into.
Its gameplay and difficulty are a product of its time. A time when I was not able to complete every game I picked up. This...is as much a chance at vindication as it is a chance at nostalgia. And it obviously doesn't disappoint.
If you want to know whether they've changed stuff. I'd say nothing was taken away from the originals. A tool is given to assist through the main campaigns...however that reduction in difficulty in the main campaign is more than compensated by the challenge maps. Oof those challenge maps - they are a NIGHTMARE...and I am not starting the second legacy collection within this year.
Now excuse me as I go ahead and play a third person over the shoulder action adventure game with stealth mechanics...
FUCK KILLER BOMBS AND GUTS MAN!!!!!!!
Difícil pa carai.
If you want to go deaf make sure you finish this game
There no fucking volume slider I dont know why please do something about this

Great game, with great value but bit slow in the start
megaman
this is 6 nes games, there's not much else, you will probably have the same experience with an emulator
7/10 best way to play those retro games
Meghan Collection 1
Great collection, I wish it had more new content though.
Menu music is way too loud, but the games are good
slightly addictive
The Mega Man Legacy Collection has some amazing highs, and very few lows. Bringing back our favourite original 6 NES titles, this collection does NOT disappoint.
The inclusion of challenges are also a welcome I'd say, and are very fun to do (though I've been peeling away at my skin trying to 100% this game.), however this collection has one of my least favourite additions... the rewind button.
MM1: Challenging but fun, six iconic robot masters and I'd argue this game rivals 2.
MM2: The most well known and for good reason, still kicks ass even today.
MM3: It's alright, robot masters are just okay but the Wily stages is where this game shines for me.
MM4: Easily my favourite from this collection. 4 brings so much; charge shots, two castles (which I love), great antagonists, and absolute banger music. This is peak Mega Man for me.
MM5: My least favourite, everything in this game is either okay or it just sucks to me. Not even the music could save this one... eugh.
MM6: That's more like it, return to form if you will. While not my favourite, 6 is a great play as well.
All of these games are great, definitely a collection worth buying.
Megaman, if you didn't play it, you must to play.
Ta wenísimo.
I never played any Mega Man games before trying this collection. I am happy to report that this will likely remain as the absolute best way of playing the first six NES games, it basically has all of the features a typical emulator would have along with some bonus challenges and a mini art gallery. Sure there probably could've been a few other additions, (They could've also put the original Gameboy games here for example) but outside of some minor nitpicks it's a really solid collection. You get good games that perform really well, what more could you actually need?
Finally accomplished what my kid self could not do. Finish the first 6 megaman games.
This is a great collection including 6 great megaman games. A blast from the past that is absolutely unmissable for any fans of the classic era of retro games.
This is a collection featuring 6 of the NES/Famicom games - including their US/Japan regional variants. Each game has been (nearly) faithfully emulated to recreate the experience from the past along with quality of life updates. To my knowledge and memory, nothing had been altered or removed and each game is complete.
For those who are new to Mega Man, this is a series of platformer action games released for the Nintendo NES, starting in 1987. Each game had an emphasis on shooting enemies, navigating difficult level designs, and defeating tough bosses based around the concept of Janken (rocks-paper-scissors) and you use abilities from the robot masters you've defeated to gain the advantage in those fights.
There are plenty of new features, some of them are quality of life updates - most notable is the Rewind feature - allowing you to easily retry after a mistake and could be useful for practice. However, this is not without some faults - There is no way to disable this feature and it's mapped to the L button by default - which makes it easy to do a rewind you did not mean to do. If you are trying to do a "legit run" this would be a hindrance, so you would need to remap the function to another button that's out of your reach. Otherwise it's a great tool for beginners and learning boss fights. I just wish there was an option to disable it instead of having to map it to another button.
Other features are usual video mode settings you would expect in a PC port. This game does suffer from some input delay which can be avoided if you are playing this on PC and playing on a higher refresh rate monitor - doing this will pretty much have the game feeling almost as tight as they did on original hardware. If you're stuck on 60hz, you might have a bit of a bad time, though you could try to disable VSYNC for a possible responsiveness boost.
The collection has what you would expect in terms of extras - you get a gallery mode which allows you to see early concept artwork across the games, a music gallery, and even a challenge mode (with leaderboards)! Also, remember the slowdowns you used to have back on NES? With the turbo feature (enabled by default), slowdown is no longer present in the games, though there is still severe sprite flicker at times (don't worry, this happened on NES, too). If you want the old slowdowns the games will allow you to set it to mimic the performance of the NES, but it's not perfect - it doesn't feel the same as original hardware in some places (some parts felt less laggy, others felt moreso). The slightly inaccurate slowdowns and the inability to disable rewind are my main gripes (to be honest, they're my only gripes).
The collection is also reasonably priced at $14.99 and with each game being very good along with the extras, it's a very good bang for your buck, and with the right amount of challenge that these games offer along with the challenge mode missions, you'll get plenty of replayability. If you want to relive the adventures or if you're just starting out, this is a good place to start. Highly recommended.
Nice collection
mega man never dissapoints
HOPE RIDES AAAALLLLOOOOOOOOONEEEEEEEE
I mean, it's Megaman.
Obviously I recommend it.
Good challenge.
If you like platformers, this is a game for you! I love it, the games are great! (especially Megaman 4)
I'm not even going to lie, I bought this solely because I found a song on YouTube from Mega Man Three... Now I want to play even more Mega Man...
Mega Mega Mega MAN!!!
Controls bad.... hard to jump basic jumps with a controller.
I've been playing Mega Man for 10 years. (Since I was 7, put that into perspective!) And not once have I found a better solo game, or series to dethrone it from it's title as my favorite game. It has great difficulty, amazing mechanics, diverse bosses and weapons, and most especially, has great music. It's one of gaming's greats, and everyone should try it at least once.
very good. i love it. its nice to have all of these games in a collection, and the rewind is a nice feature. it really helps with all the bullshit in some of these games. the challenge mode is good to.
do not play megaman 1. it is a bad game. the rest are fine. the rewind is good. i enjoy
A Really Fun collection game to play. I love Megaman and I used to play I think Megaman X in the DS and I swear Capcom is just the Goated Company.
Megan man
5/5
If you want the 8-bit Mega Man games from the Nintendo Entertainment System era in a highly faithful bundle, surely this collection is for you.
Mostly re-created to near-perfection, including the glitches and exploits that worked decades ago with the true original 8-bit Mega Man games, this collection is definitely for hardcore Mega Man fans and players.
If you're new to Mega Man 8-bit titles, I would warn that this series of games helped coin the old phrase "Nintendo Hard". . . it means to hold a frustrating level of difficulty that at times demands near-flawless skills and that punishes failure in various ways.
The bottom line: definitely worth purchasing if you can and have the space for it, for new and old players alike!
You can't really go wrong with classic megaman.

Tl;dr - The Mega Man games deserve props for pioneering a major IP of early times, but unfortunate design flaws prevent them from being recommendable from me.
good game
the og mega man games are fun
Yeahhhh!!!!
Decent ports of pretty good games. Save states are alright, but rewind is for pussies.
amazing compilation of the first six games. cant reccomend this enough!
Yep. It's Mega Man. Six of him, in fact.
I enjoy :D
itz fuuuuuuuuun
Goated jit mega blaster arm guy collection would recommend.
The classic 6 games on NES have always been great. MMLC has made it better by adding Challenges to try for Gold medals. 50 to be exact. It is very fun. There is one problem and that is the volume cannot be changed in-game. I would suggest to turn down the speaker volume if you don't want to get your eardrums beaten up.
Still, replaying all 6 MM games is fun.
