fuck mega man 1 everything else is cool though
i was always book smart never money smart
These are the NES Mega Man games all in one, really the only bad game here is MM1, all the other games are pretty great although from 4 onwards it starts to get a bit easy and a bit samey.
But overall, these are pretty great games that don't take space at all since they're NES games.
This game along with Mega Man X 1 gave me a Mega Man addiction, sincerely, fuck you Capcom, i love you so much
A very barebones collection outside minor stuff like jukebox and a gallery.
It lacks things that previous MM collections offered, like the simple function of switching weapons on the fly. The only thing the colleciton offers is an option to disable slowdown that happens on some games, but nothing regarding sprite flickering.
It does include a rewind button for people who like this feature.
The controls do feel odd in a way, as in, sometimes when you press jump it doesnt happen for some reason; also there some input delay.
You can rebind controls but you cannot unbind buttons.
The game also has a challenge mode but its actually a somewhat boring mode where you play several sections of different games in one go.
Im not surprised honestly since Digital Eclipse (the team behind this part1 collection) are known for just slapping together games together with some memorabilia and call it a day.
The most annoying part is that it barely offers any incentive to buy it over other means to play these games, other than just being an offcial means to play the games and not much more.
pretty good collection grew up with the majority of these games mega man 2 being the first i played if your a fan this should be up your alley the games are made easier with a rewind feature which i think they should have added a fast forward feature also to skip cut scenes especially if you've already beat every single game multiple times before this collection was ever thought of downside i feel this collection has very little lag but you get use to it other than that great collection leader board section isn't the best you will quickily find out
Noticeable, very bad input lag.
Original shovelware
I was never book smart, I'm money smart, makes me more intelligent
Call me Mr. Rock festival, I got hella bands
Shawty cute, and her circle too, told her get a friend
She gon' make me slide with my dog like I'm Mega Man
Dang I love Mega Man
Megaman 2 and 3 are the best ones ever!!
All the nostalgia directly into my veins. I am still terrible at these games, but they are still just as fun as I remember, now with a save feature for when I have to put the game down and get things done!
Emulation sux, this is rip off. Pretty much it is better to download ROM where you will get more precise emulation. Many of games have input lag and that stupid new feature rewind just ruins all game experience as you will use it a lot because of delayed control unjustified deaths.
Its a Mega Man collection. Mega Man games are good. You can connect the dots.
I honestly don't know how to begin this review so let me say firstly, this collection is amazing! I greatly enjoyed playing through Mega Man 1 - 6 again, and the added challenges were very fun to play through too and the addition of a leaderboard is just honestly really great (Granted getting Gold in all of them did take a bit and a lot of patience)! The added Museum bits where you can go through the concept art of each game was also really cool, and everything about the collection just feels super polished. Granted, bugs that were present in the original games are still there, but they shouldn't hinder your playthrough much, and if you really need to there's now a rewind feature available for those just starting out with the games (I personally did not need this). You might read about complaints of jump inputs being eaten but, these are purely a product of the games age. For example in Mega Man 4 and 5, if you're underwater you cannot jump out of slides and I blamed it on the game eating my inputs until I looked into it properly and found otherwise, same goes for Mega Man 6 where you just straight up cannot jump out of a slide. Mega Man 3 is as per usual slightly janky, particularly flicking and trying to shoot immediately after might not register, but besides that the games all play perfectly and to their credit, as they were on the NES. If you prefer authenticity, you can turn of the Turbo CPU in settings and experience the good old fashioned Mega Man lag on the NES, and then there's also border customizability along with a TV Filter if you're into that too! You can also have the equivalent of a turbo button on the buster and just, man, I really enjoyed playing through this collection! It was on sale and I was able to buy it for under 5 dollars, so I mean hey if you have some spare change and want to play through probably the best platformer on the NES (This is just my opinion please dont kill me), then please do go for it! I'd give this collection a 10/10, a must buy for all of my fellow Mega Man fans out there!
(Apologies if my wording here isn't the best, I don't typically write reviews I just really enjoyed 100%ing this collection lol)
Let's be honest, as much as we loved the Mega Man games when we were kids, none of us could beat any of them on the NES. Now, thanks to the saving and rewind features, we can properly kick Dr. Wily's ass in every single game. Also, the music still slaps!!
It's Mega Man, it's easily accessible for casual players. More importantly, it's Mega Man and I like it
Mega Man games are awesome.
That fucker yellow devil is getting touched, no question about it
Very fun old platformer
i hate these stupid games, why the fuck does this random pillar of sand kill me instantly? 4/10, I'm sure I'll keep playing them even if they drive me up a wall
横板老玩家品味之选
A really good collection of some of the greatest action platformer classics. This collection is almost worth it simply for Megaman 2 to be honest
shit game
good shit. only problem is it doesn't have proper 4:3 support. This collection was obviously made with 16:9 monitors in mind as It letterboxes to 16:9 on my 4:3 crt monitor.
good colletion
Eh no one needs a review for any of the Megaman Legacy collections...be it the OG, X or Zero sagas...if you even came across this game, chances are - you know what you're going into.
Its gameplay and difficulty are a product of its time. A time when I was not able to complete every game I picked up. This...is as much a chance at vindication as it is a chance at nostalgia. And it obviously doesn't disappoint.
If you want to know whether they've changed stuff. I'd say nothing was taken away from the originals. A tool is given to assist through the main campaigns...however that reduction in difficulty in the main campaign is more than compensated by the challenge maps. Oof those challenge maps - they are a NIGHTMARE...and I am not starting the second legacy collection within this year.
Now excuse me as I go ahead and play a third person over the shoulder action adventure game with stealth mechanics...
FUCK KILLER BOMBS AND GUTS MAN!!!!!!!
Difícil pa carai.
If you want to go deaf make sure you finish this game
There no fucking volume slider I dont know why please do something about this

Great game, with great value but bit slow in the start
megaman
this is 6 nes games, there's not much else, you will probably have the same experience with an emulator
7/10 best way to play those retro games
Meghan Collection 1
Great collection, I wish it had more new content though.
Menu music is way too loud, but the games are good
slightly addictive
The Mega Man Legacy Collection has some amazing highs, and very few lows. Bringing back our favourite original 6 NES titles, this collection does NOT disappoint.
The inclusion of challenges are also a welcome I'd say, and are very fun to do (though I've been peeling away at my skin trying to 100% this game.), however this collection has one of my least favourite additions... the rewind button.
MM1: Challenging but fun, six iconic robot masters and I'd argue this game rivals 2.
MM2: The most well known and for good reason, still kicks ass even today.
MM3: It's alright, robot masters are just okay but the Wily stages is where this game shines for me.
MM4: Easily my favourite from this collection. 4 brings so much; charge shots, two castles (which I love), great antagonists, and absolute banger music. This is peak Mega Man for me.
MM5: My least favourite, everything in this game is either okay or it just sucks to me. Not even the music could save this one... eugh.
MM6: That's more like it, return to form if you will. While not my favourite, 6 is a great play as well.
All of these games are great, definitely a collection worth buying.
Megaman, if you didn't play it, you must to play.
Ta wenísimo.
I never played any Mega Man games before trying this collection. I am happy to report that this will likely remain as the absolute best way of playing the first six NES games, it basically has all of the features a typical emulator would have along with some bonus challenges and a mini art gallery. Sure there probably could've been a few other additions, (They could've also put the original Gameboy games here for example) but outside of some minor nitpicks it's a really solid collection. You get good games that perform really well, what more could you actually need?
Finally accomplished what my kid self could not do. Finish the first 6 megaman games.
This is a great collection including 6 great megaman games. A blast from the past that is absolutely unmissable for any fans of the classic era of retro games.
This is a collection featuring 6 of the NES/Famicom games - including their US/Japan regional variants. Each game has been (nearly) faithfully emulated to recreate the experience from the past along with quality of life updates. To my knowledge and memory, nothing had been altered or removed and each game is complete.
For those who are new to Mega Man, this is a series of platformer action games released for the Nintendo NES, starting in 1987. Each game had an emphasis on shooting enemies, navigating difficult level designs, and defeating tough bosses based around the concept of Janken (rocks-paper-scissors) and you use abilities from the robot masters you've defeated to gain the advantage in those fights.
There are plenty of new features, some of them are quality of life updates - most notable is the Rewind feature - allowing you to easily retry after a mistake and could be useful for practice. However, this is not without some faults - There is no way to disable this feature and it's mapped to the L button by default - which makes it easy to do a rewind you did not mean to do. If you are trying to do a "legit run" this would be a hindrance, so you would need to remap the function to another button that's out of your reach. Otherwise it's a great tool for beginners and learning boss fights. I just wish there was an option to disable it instead of having to map it to another button.
Other features are usual video mode settings you would expect in a PC port. This game does suffer from some input delay which can be avoided if you are playing this on PC and playing on a higher refresh rate monitor - doing this will pretty much have the game feeling almost as tight as they did on original hardware. If you're stuck on 60hz, you might have a bit of a bad time, though you could try to disable VSYNC for a possible responsiveness boost.
The collection has what you would expect in terms of extras - you get a gallery mode which allows you to see early concept artwork across the games, a music gallery, and even a challenge mode (with leaderboards)! Also, remember the slowdowns you used to have back on NES? With the turbo feature (enabled by default), slowdown is no longer present in the games, though there is still severe sprite flicker at times (don't worry, this happened on NES, too). If you want the old slowdowns the games will allow you to set it to mimic the performance of the NES, but it's not perfect - it doesn't feel the same as original hardware in some places (some parts felt less laggy, others felt moreso). The slightly inaccurate slowdowns and the inability to disable rewind are my main gripes (to be honest, they're my only gripes).
The collection is also reasonably priced at $14.99 and with each game being very good along with the extras, it's a very good bang for your buck, and with the right amount of challenge that these games offer along with the challenge mode missions, you'll get plenty of replayability. If you want to relive the adventures or if you're just starting out, this is a good place to start. Highly recommended.
Nice collection
mega man never dissapoints
HOPE RIDES AAAALLLLOOOOOOOOONEEEEEEEE
I mean, it's Megaman.
Obviously I recommend it.
