Average mosh pit experience
Do not buy from these garbage devs. They will spam your library with shovelware games you never asked for. Idk why Steam even allows this disgusting behavior.
hard

Tek oturuşta keyifle bitireceğiniz zor bir oyun. Farklı oynanışı ve düşük fiyatıyla şans verilesi.
UBERMOSH: A Cyberpunk Blade Dance in a Neon Storm
"In the frozen world of HowlStrom, where the ice wolves roam under the eternal blizzard, I, Kiba Snowpaw, Alpha of the Ice Wolf Clan, wield my words like my blade to delve into the neon chaos of UBERMOSH. With 37 years of ice-slicked wisdom and over 5000 games observed through the frosted lens of a gamer’s soul, here is my icy, detailed review."

Introduction
UBERMOSH, released in 2015 by indie developer Walter Machado, aims to deliver a raw, adrenaline-fueled arcade experience. With its retro pixel art, cyberpunk vibe, and an irresistible hook of slicing bullets mid-air with a sword, the game has carved a niche in the indie gaming tundra. But how does it fare when the blizzard of scrutiny rolls in? Let’s dig deep, paw by paw.

Basic Plot Summary
UBERMOSH doesn’t concern itself with traditional narrative. You’re dropped into a cyberpunk mosh pit with one objective: survive for 90 seconds while racking up kills. The premise is barebones, but it fits the arcade essence. Think of it as a cybernetic wolf thrown into an arena to prove its dominance amidst a flurry of neon bullets.

Originality
In a sea of twin-stick shooters and roguelikes, UBERMOSH stands out with its "bullet-cutting mechanic." Few games offer the visceral satisfaction of deflecting enemy projectiles back at them with the precision of a katana-wielding ninja. Yet, its originality is tempered by repetitive gameplay loops and limited content, which can make the frostbite set in after a few hours.

About the Studio
Walter Machado, the one-wolf pack behind UBERMOSH, has a knack for crafting tightly focused indie games. Known for minimalist design and energetic soundtracks, Machado’s work resonates with those seeking pure, unadulterated gameplay. However, like a lone wolf howling into the storm, his games often lack the polish and depth of larger packs (studios).

Mechanics and Gameplay
Core Mechanics:
- Slice bullets with your sword to deflect them back at enemies.
- Pick up enemy-dropped guns to add firepower to your arsenal.
- Survive waves of enemies for 90 seconds in procedurally generated arenas.
Pros:
- Satisfying Combat: Nothing beats the rush of perfectly slicing a bullet in two.
- Quick Rounds: Each run is short and intense, perfect for a "coffee break" game.
- Class Mods: Playstyles like "Kensai" (sword-only) and "Warlock" (powerful gun but fewer lives) add some variety.
Cons:
- Camera Issues: The FOV is too zoomed in, making it hard to see incoming threats.
- Repetitive Gameplay: Limited enemy types and arena designs dampen long-term engagement.
- Lack of Options: No settings menu for screen shake or audio adjustments—a glaring oversight.

Analysis and Evaluation
While UBERMOSH excels in delivering a frantic and exhilarating gameplay loop, it falters in variety and polish. The procedural arenas feel more like slight reskins than truly dynamic battlegrounds. Moreover, the difficulty often feels artificially inflated due to the cramped camera perspective, which can lead to unfair deaths.

Character Development
Main Character:
You are a cyberpunk gladiator, defined more by their actions than by any backstory. The lack of character development aligns with the game’s arcade roots but leaves narrative enthusiasts out in the cold.
Supporting Characters:
The enemies are faceless, relentless, and devoid of personality. They serve their purpose as cannon fodder but lack the depth to leave a lasting impression.

Impact and Hook
UBERMOSH hooks you with its immediate gratification. The combination of fast-paced action and a pulsating soundtrack draws players in, but the shallow mechanics may struggle to keep them engaged for long. It’s a short-lived blizzard of fun.

Praise and Critique
Praise:
- Energetic soundtrack that amplifies the cyberpunk atmosphere.
- Addictive, high-octane gameplay.
- Low system requirements—runs smoothly even on older machines.
Critique:
- The game feels like a tech demo rather than a full experience.
- Limited replay value due to lack of progression or meaningful variety.
- Screen shake and camera issues detract from the overall experience.

Comparison to Similar Games
Hotline Miami: While both games share a retro aesthetic and fast-paced action, Hotline Miami offers a deeper narrative and more strategic gameplay.
Crimsonland: Crimsonland’s progression system and weapon variety make it a more rewarding experience for those seeking depth in their twin-stick shooters.

Personal Opinion
As an alpha ice wolf with a lifetime of gaming experience, I found UBERMOSH to be a thrilling yet fleeting encounter. The adrenaline rush of slicing bullets is undeniable, but the game’s flaws—particularly the camera issues—left me howling in frustration. It’s a game I’d recommend for a quick romp but not for a long-term commitment.

Highlights and Drawbacks
Highlights:
- Bullet-cutting mechanic is uniquely satisfying.
- High-energy soundtrack complements the fast-paced gameplay.
Drawbacks:
- Repetitive and shallow gameplay.
- Lack of polish in key areas like camera design and settings options.

Conclusion
UBERMOSH is a neon-soaked storm of action that delivers short bursts of fun but struggles to sustain its momentum. For those seeking a quick, chaotic arcade experience, it’s worth a spin—especially during a sale. But if you’re hunting for a deeper, more polished game, this cyberpunk mosh pit might leave you out in the cold.
Final Verdict: 6/10 – A frosty thrill with limited depth.

"Until the next storm, keep your blades sharp and your instincts sharper. This has been Kiba Snowpaw, Alpha of the Ice Wolf Clan, signing off from the HowlStrom blizzard."
best soundtracks i've ever heard
An addictive, quick twin stick shooter. Really fun, typically cheep.
Badass music and simple game mechanic.
Difficult, but fun.
Bang for your buck of a game. Helps train your peripheral vision and reaction time during its fast-paced gameplay.
It's kinda cool for a arcade style game i just stuck at it
I love the art style. Simple and minimalist game. Somehow I think this is the ideal game Buckethead would play...lol...
bad reviews need to gitgud
Fun, Nice Upbeat Metal-Like music, Cool Pixel Graphics
Nice game
she uber on my mosh until my respawn core empty
- makes pixel art game can't even make hitboxes pixel perfect. either hitboxes are faster than the actual visual or bigger.
- limited FOV and FPS but sometimes u will just get hit as soon as an enemy goes in your screen
- FOV is too big i want to be inside my character and not see anything at all
- RNG based enemy shooting without any indicators
- Bullets going thru walls
- If u shoot your gun with quick succession if u want to melee character will sheet melee instead of actually using it.
I rather die or get hit cuz of skill issue 100 than getting hit/killed by a game issue 1 time. This game is a "game issue" simulator.
"why are u playing then" i would remove this mess from my account but i want this review to stay here. and if a game will stay in the library i will %100 it.

very cool game i got the bundle with every single game for 0.60 cents. worth the money. really fun!
actual banger. worth way more than $1 but i wouldnt be able to afford it otherwise
✅ All you need is Kill
✅ Hard, but fair
✅ Music is fantastic (Core Guitars, Heavy Beat, Retro Vibe and Dark Hue)
✅ Graphic not bad
Forget about energy drinks and coffees, this will get you pumped up like nothing before.
If you ever felt like a lizard needing outside sources to acclimate their body temperature, play this and watch your temperatures reach new heights in real time.
Doesn't sound that fun, does it.
It isn't really. But somehow you just keep playing, finding yourself being ready to hit that restart button like a primal instinct. And there you try, again and again until the pulsating heavy metal beats seem completely internalized like they've been there your entire life, you keep repeating the cycle until the enemies grow in numbers, you observe their movements as they seem to be mimicking your twiggy nervous behavior almost as a form of mockery.
Once you've finally won a run, you're open to try other classes, mastering each of them gives you a sense of accomplishment as if the waste of life is worth it.
Oh, and there's many more of these games. Start from the first one, work your way up and appreciate the subtle change in the following title as if a new horizon is opening up before your eyes. Master the classes, kill the enemies, parry their bullets and dodge their attacks like an annoying fly.
This game was made for people who want to play dark souls on a homegrown onion, except the onion has become sentient, listens to heavy metal and won't stop talking about obscure cyberpunk.
Welcome to Ubermosh.
.
UBERMOSH!
Shiet
screen 2 zoomed in, dumbass decision
Игра для долбанных мазохистов, не говоря уже о получении ачивок.

10/10 crack in video game form.
**Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)**
**Review:**
"UBERMOSH is like stepping into a blender set to 'chaos' mode. It's a game where you have 90 seconds to survive a relentless onslaught of enemies, and your only goal is to rack up the highest score possible before inevitably getting obliterated.
**Pros:**
- **Intense Action:** The game is so fast-paced that blinking feels like a luxury you can't afford.
- **Variety of Classes:** Whether you prefer slicing enemies with a sword or blasting them with a shotgun, there's a class for every type of mayhem enthusiast.
- **Addictive Gameplay:** The 'just one more try' effect is strong with this one. You'll find yourself saying it at 2 AM, right before you realize it's already morning.
- **Pixel Art Graphics:** The retro visuals are charmingly gritty, making you feel like you're in a cyberpunk fever dream.
- **Heavy Metal Soundtrack:** The music is so intense that it might just make your neighbors think you're hosting a rock concert.
**Cons:**
- **Steep Learning Curve:** Your first few games will likely end in seconds, leaving you wondering if you even pressed the right buttons.
- **Repetitive Arenas:** The randomly generated arenas start to feel a bit samey after a while, but who has time to notice when you're dodging bullets?
- **No Tutorials:** You're thrown into the deep end with nothing but your wits and a sword. Good luck!
- **Busy Screen:** The sheer amount of action on screen can be overwhelming, making it hard to keep track of what's happening.
Overall, UBERMOSH is a wild ride that's perfect for those who enjoy a mix of strategy, skill, and pure, unadulterated chaos. Just remember to keep your reflexes sharp and your volume low – unless you want to wake the whole neighborhood."
sword
Like a more extreme version of the second one.
Me rompio el orto.
enemy shoots before you can see them, screen too zoomed in and map too small, every enemy feels the same to fight and the mechanics get old quick
the OG vampire survivors, hype af
can't play the game. it's always freeze on start
UBERMOSH had me dodging bullets like a caffeinated ninja, and while I may need a break to let my thumbs recover, you can bet I'll be back to embrace my inner chaos in this stylish, pixelated battle arena!
