I didn't find the game as fun as I remembered it as a kid. It felt like some of the content was cut out, especially in the beginning.
0 variety in gameplay.
You are given all the abilities from the beginning and only occasionally told that abilities are pumped, but the gameplay doesn't change in any way, nor does the visuals. It's just a tedious arena every 1-2 minutes for about 5 hours.
Gameplay for Penny isn't much different, but there's a lot less of it than I'd like.
For $20 it's a terrible game, and for $5 on sale you can get some of the best indie games out there.
Perhaps it's a cut up port from another console again, but I'm not sure.
I can only recommend the game for the sake of nostalgia.
Buy better Asterix & Obelix XXL 2, it's much more fun and interesting than this game.
This game was my childhood, and while the Steam version is a little bit buggy, it's still as fun and awesome as I remember.

Don't buy this game through steam. It was not ported correctly and i ran into 2 game stopping bugs and lost out on context through the cheat function.
If you still want to buy this game it is fun, i just cant stand all the bugs to finish it. Through my research there is a way to get better screen resolution through other means. As well as the needing the built in cheats function that is REQUIRED to finish this game via steam. Check the community hub on steam, there's a few posts talking about the resolution. To unlock all game levels via cheats go to the "menu>extras menu>Cheats" and type in "Right-Up-Left-Right-Up-Right". It wont be counted towards your save file since your just "replaying" a mission.
