Fantastic game. I had a great time playing it. Extremely fun with a very moving story and its almost impossible to believe it came out in 2015 because the graphics... THEY ARE AMAZING. I heavily recommend this game

I love the Arkham series I've played Arkham City now this one.I love the combat easy to learn but made quite challenging.

On a serious note, this game is great. Best game in the series, while the story is not like Arkham City, it still has some good highs. Gameplay is just insanely better from previous games, especially stealth. People say there is too much Batmobile, but I felt like it was a good addition. The first time it felt like a chore was at the last 15-20% of the game, which I don't find that serious to be honest. The biggest thing that's missing are boss fights, other than that, gameplay is so enjoyable and movement feels very clean.

The story has flaws and if you are a comic fan, you could guess who Arkham Knight is easily. But this story's focus is more on Batman's inner conflict, showing that he is truly a damaged and flawed man which I really liked. We interact with a lot of side characters, but not a significant amount, which is underwhelming.

I would recommend everyone to play this game, especially playing the whole Rocksteady Trilogy, which you can acquire for 9€ as a bundle during a Steam sale. One of the biggest robberies out there.

Not as good as the first two in the series, but a great game nonetheless. The main complaint about this one is the Batmobile missions, which I really enjoyed. Most of the DLC was not fun with exception of the Harley Quinn and Batwoman ones. I hear a new game is coming in the near future, can't wait!

Best gameplay in the Arkham series, hands down! But also a less than good story to go with it. Well not everything can be perfect. Still worth it though!

Best batman game out there in my opinion. I've played both asylum and city on 360 at the time, and even so, knight is just different, loved the game

I"M BATMAN!!! ...for the third time :)

I like the graphics improvement in this game, though it is a little bit more eye-straining. I like the skill tree, the bat-mobile, how brutal the take-downs are, the new moves and mechanics. The story is good, although I'm confused as to how everything I've done so far could happen in a singular night. Also, certain major story moments didn't hit as hard as I think they should have.

Really great graphics. But the best thing i liked while playing this game was picking up Harley Quinn...

On my fifth playthrough and still can't get enough of this game.

Rocksteady cooked with this one and hopefully they're cooking with the next one that is supposedly in the talks.

It's so fun to look back and think, "wow, games used to have such great visuals and themes."

I understand the hate on this game now Alfred.
When I was playing the main quest I thought it is the best in the trilogy Alfred.
However I got no ending nor end credits after beating the game Alfred.
Then I found out I had to complete half of the side quests in order to get an ending Alfred.

This game is what true addiction is. Feels so great to play

This game gets a lot of crap for introducing and overusing the Batmobile. But after playing through it I have to say the thing controls like a dream and there is nothing like chasing down thugs in Gotham in a tank that makes you feel more like Batman. The gameplay has been refined to the point of silky perfection. I honestly don't know what to say that hasn't already been said in my City review. Shame that Kevin will never be able to do another Batman game but I am definitely glad to be be around when these games hit the shelves!

Hands down one of the best superhero games you can play! The game is very story-based and has less boss fights compared the the previous Arkham entries, but the smooth combat and the Batmobile battles pretty much make for it IMHO.

The Art direction and the graphics are second to none. The game is more than 9 years old and can still beat a lot of games released in the 2020's in terms of overall look and design.

My only issue (kind of) is that you have complete all the Riddler trophies to unlock the Knight-Fall ending (True Ending) of the game. Which can get tedious and sometimes very frustrating.

Overall Rating: 9.5/10 (Highly recommended)

I will always suggest every story based action Rpg lovers to try this game once in their lifetime which will never get old. Game has little optimisation issues which causes frame drops, other than that its a gem of a title. Grabbed the series of three on sale.

I have mental scarring from trying to get this to run on my Pc that has intergrated graphics, what happened to my pc still haunts me to this day, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME unless you have a relative that works for NASA and can hook you up with a NASA super computer, this game for its lack of being able to run on anything gets a 1/10, I hate it.

Here's a quick review of my thoughts after beating "Batman: Arkham Knight" on the PC.

+ Another great orchestral soundtrack just like the games before it.
+ Peak atmosphere as always. The style of Gotham is nailed at this point in the series.
+ A nice upgrade system to spend your Waynetech Upgrade Points on.
+ Characters and story are peak. Just peak. It’s not perfect, but it’s the best I’ve seen.
+ Moving Batman is tight. Best controls for Batman in the Arkham series handsdown.
+ Best combat handsdown too. They finally fixed the issue with knocking out downed opponents. Instead of making yourself vulnerable by trying to knock them out with the special move, you can instead choose to just keep hitting them! Thank you!
+ Detective mode is not used a lot in this game and that’s a good thing. I’m happy I’m now not playing a game where I have to see everything around me as either blue or orange 30-50% of the time.
+- Graphics are awesome. Stunning and beautiful. However, to get the sharpest look, you have to turn off some settings that are automatically turned on like the “Film Grain” effect and motion blur.
+ Flying around Gotham as Batman is incredible, a lot of fun, and the best we’ve seen yet in the Arkham series.
- Traversing in the Batmobile on the other hand is terrible. The controls for the driving are both clunky and loose at the same time, turning sucks, and I never had fun using it.
+- The Batmobile’s tank mode is a bit better. It’s a bit fun having shootouts with other tanks and stuff. Controls are better than in the base driving mode. You’re still a big tank though with other big tanks usually in a small area which leads to some mobility issues.
- Also, you use the Batmobile for practically everything in this game. Captured a baddie? Bring him to the GCPD in the Batmobile. Got a puzzle? Better get the big, hulking Batmobile to open up the way. Having a boss fight? What better way to fight a boss than in the Batmobile using the worst controls ever to do halfpipe maneuvers while trying to outrun a maniac in a drill machine?
- And speaking of those boss fights… There’s nothing. Literally nothing. Instead of proper 1-on-1 boss fights that previous Arkham games had, you either get tank battles, or standard 1-on-17 mob fights. This is so dumb.
+- Batman’s gadgets are just as fun to use as before in the series, though some are really underutilized like the line launcher and remote controller Batarang.
- Choosing the gadgets though sucks. Instead of having a button on the controller assigned to their own specific gadget to use, you have to push down on the D-pad and then a menu of gadgets will show up for you to select. This is beyond clunky and dumb. It was so much better in all the first three games.
+- Stealth is good. The only issue I have with it is that they seem to have removed the feature where when I grapple up to a ledge, I can hold “R2” and hang on to said ledge without jumping over it. Instead, you have the game automatically deciding for itself when it wants Batman to hang on to the ledge or jump over. This destroyed stealth for me so much during the game. I tried multiple times to see if I could fix this issue but to no avail (and after looking it up, there actually is a way, but I know the game never tells you because I looked).
+- Side missions are 50/50 for quality. All the ones involving the Batmobile usually sucked but the other ones weren’t so bad. Origins is still better in the side quests department.
- About those side missions though, after you beat the main objective of the game (stop Scarecrow) you have to do 2/3’s of all the side quests to get the actual ending. Like, to actually get to the credits. Why?! I kind of get this for story reasons but it’s so annoying for the players that don’t wanna do that. Side quests should be optional, never forced, especially to just get to the game’s base ending!
- Level up notification shows up every time you die if you don’t use the Waynetech Upgrade Points you get when you upgrade. Like, I know I upgraded, I saw it 10 seconds ago before I died. Don’t blast the message for me to see again in the middle of the screen, dumbass.
- No First-person POV while moving through grates compared to other titles. Dumb.
- No manual saving still. Dumber.
- No mini map. Dumbest.

Overall quality of experience: 8.4/10. I Liked/Really Liked this game. When it comes to the story, combat, and atmosphere, this game is awesome. When it comes to the Batmobile, boss battles, and selecting weapons, not so awesome. This game is good, no, great, don’t get me wrong, but the main issue affecting it is the forced feeding of the Batmobile mechanics in almost every corner. Game probably would’ve been a 9/10 if the Batmobile was less forced and just controlled better. Overall, though, if you like Batman or the Arkham series and haven’t given this game a go yet, give it a ride (and, yes, that’s a car joke that I put there intentionally). In closing, I’m glad to have finally finished all the mainline games in this series. I’d rank them from worst to best: “City”, “Asylum”, “Knight”, and “Origins” as the best. It was a lot more fun playing through this series than the Uncharted series, I’ll give it that.

Arkham Knight wasn't received well by critics and fans when it first released and I never understood why. It does so many things right. It is by far the most beautiful game in the series. To be quite frank I didn't mind the batmobile missions (although there is still some issues with it). The story is solid but if you're a Batman enthusiast like myself, it was very predictable. The gameplay is arguably the best in the series, the combat fluid and just darn fun. Now don't get me wrong I definitely don't think this game is not on the level of Arkham City. Mainly due to poor boss fights and side missions that didnt really pack a punch, but I still absolutely love it. Arkham Knight 9/10 AMAZING !

It revealed the inner workings of kindness, the delicate balance of power, and the relentless pursuit of justice that we should all aspire to. Arkham Knight helped me understand the true essence of existence.

Some may find this level of devotion unusual, but they are simply mistaken. To live without Arkham Knight is to live without understanding the very principles that govern the universe. It's more than just a game—it's the guiding force of life itself. But what do I know? I'm just a 50 year old man with no wife or kids, no friends, no anything.

This is the game in the series I play the most often. While I've replayed the campaign of Arkham City more than I've replayed the campaign here, Knight's gameplay variety and visuals draw me in much more often, and keep me playing for far longer periods of time than I would if it were one of the other Arkham games. This game has a much stronger sense of pick-up-and-play to it, and a huge variety of things to do both in the open world and in the challenge maps.

The story is definitely one of the weaker of the 4 main games, though that's mainly due to small issues throughout. The biggest complaints this game tends to receive, those being the Joker's blood, the identity of the Arkham Knight, and the Batmobile, aren't criticisms I think really hold up. The fact that Joker isn't a unique lone individual, but has some sort of mutated disease that makes him behave the way he does, isn't inherently an issue in-universe. As for the Arkham Knight...

If I had a nickel for every Batman story I've read where the identity of the new mystery villain was someone not introduced until said story, I'd have 2 nickels. Now, I don't hate the identity reveal in theory, but the execution here doesn't work for me. If said character, and his supposed death, had been set up earlier in the series (more than just the retroactive elements, like Batman considering killing Joker at the start of Asylum), I think it could have worked really well here. As it stands, it's technically functional in that it affects Batman personally, but as an audience member, I have no deeper attachment to the Arkham Knight, so the reveal falls largely flat for me. I only care in any form because of the acting, and because of my attachment to other versions of the relationship between these two characters, which isn't earned in the game itself.

However, my biggest personal gripe with the story is actually something else entirely. The main premise involves Scarecrow gathering a group of villains to finally take down Batman by combining their resources. Yet only the Arkham Knight, Harley, and Ivy (who doesn't side with him) are involved in the campaign directly, while Two-Face, Penguin, and Riddler are relegated to side missions that can be completed at any time, before or after the main threat is dealt with. This makes them feel unimportant in comparison to everything else going on. Two-Face and Penguin use the situation to get rich, and only attempt to kill Batman themselves when he interrupts their operations. I would've much preferred they be part of the efforts to kill Batman directly, for the purpose of being able to do whatever they want in the future. Riddler is an even bigger missed opportunity. His puzzles could've been used as challenges guarding Scarecrow's hideouts and whatnot. That being said, I don't think there are any issues present with how these villains are used. It's just not how I would've preferred they be handled. As for the other side missions, the more I think about it, the more frustrating I find it that resources were spent on introducing new random villains in short side missions, that could have been better spent tying up loose threads with other characters that don't get to appear. Characters like Man-Bat and Deacon Blackfire only seem to exist to pad out the game, whereas someone like Bane, who we find out in a small easter egg has given up his use of venom, had a lot of opportunity to add on to the themes of this game, had he been an actual part of the story.

One of the things I noticed on my last playthrough of the campaign is that this story is really starting to lose its luster upon replay, a problem I haven't had when playing through City or Origins. Scarecrow really loses his intimidation factor once you realize he's barely in the game, and even dead, Joker is the bigger obstacle for Batman to overcome in this story. Scarecrow feels more like a catalyst for the story than the actual antagonist. It also doesn't help that the other major plot thread, the mystery of the Arkham Knight's identity, isn't any fun to see on repeat playthroughs, given how that plays out in the end.

The gameplay is very tight overall. However, similar to Origins, there are times where the game ignores your input, causing you to get hit when you try to block or dodge. This doesn't often affect the overall experience in the campaign, as its pretty rare in regular combat. But it comes up in the combat challenge maps, particularly on the maps with infinite enemies, which inherently lowers your maximum score. I think Origins still has the worst of this issue, though I noticed it frequently enough in Knight to feel it needed to be acknowledged. From what I remember, City has this issue the least, if at all, so this is the one element of gameplay I'd call a downgrade from City to Knight (since Rocksteady didn't make Origins). Something else I don't necessarily like about the combat in this game is how much easier it is to get a high enough score to start hitting harder and moving faster. This game is easily the worst offender when it comes to Batman jumping around the combat arena like a pinball, though maybe it's just more noticeable because the combat areas are more wide open than usual. In either case, it really takes me out of the fantasy of being a normal guy with gadgets, rather than someone with superpowers. It's consistent with previous games, and I wouldn't call it an issue. But I kinda hate it, and go out of my way to not get too high a combo so that the combat looks cooler to my eye. Other than that, the only other thing I feel the need to comment on with the gameplay is the Batmobile. It functions very well, and is a lot of fun to use. It definitely feels like it belongs in a different game, and I would've preferred it be used differently, or more sparingly, but I don't see it as a true issue with the game overall.

Much like the other Arkham games, this one is absolutely awesome. Much like from Asylum to City, going from City to Knight feels like the next step for the series. This is easily the best looking game in the series, as well as the biggest in terms of the map and the stakes of the story. This one particularly comes with the recommendation that you play Arkham City at least before playing this, but otherwise this is such a great game, I'm pretty biased as a big fan of everything Batman but this is a game I can recommend with confidence to pretty much anybody.

In fairness, there is this thing where the main story will be put on hold and the game will tell you to do sidequests and basically wait for something to happen that was set up in the last main story mission. The game does this a few times, but I feel like the side stuff (that all feature different villains by the way) is fun enough and won't make you feel like you're wasting time or anything, it did strike me as strange though so I thought I'd include it. Either way, love this game play it!

graphics are stunning
gameplay is really good played with a keyboard so I struggled a bit but its really good I felt extremely satisfied while boositing myself into the air , the batmobile was awesome aswell but I used it only for quests and stuff did drive around often as flying around made me look at gotham city from above and it was awesome!
however... one issue I have...

The gameplay with the Batmobile is a bit too much, but the story is good, and the combat is better than in the previous game. I recommend playing with a controller. Overall, it's a good game to conclude the Batman trilogy.

This game is really cool, but the controls fucking suck. This game proves my point behind you don't need good textures, but rather good lighting and particles to make a game look nice. The animations still hold up for a game made in 2015. I get to see batman shake is fat butt with each step he takes, it makes me so happy.

great game even though it's from the year 2015, compared to games that've been release after 2020, this game still valid and the graphics were amazing! The story was fantastic and i love all the details

Amazing!!! Struggles a bit on PC with framerates and Batmobile controls but most of the time it's absolutely fantastic!

I can confirm this is an epic way to end out the arkham trilogy, awesome fun. But... one thing i didn't like as much were that primarily the boss fights were in the batmobile, which would be fine for one or two, but i missed the feeling of fighting a hulking titan or something like that. its just great, no complaints otherwise.

its an arkham game so its already worth, when on sale you can get the game for 6 bucks with all dlc, and the mod support is really good.

More open world than Arkham City which some will love or hate. The main story though, Chef Kiss. Solid gameplay, immersion, atmosphere, story, Sound, and finish to the best Batman game Trilogy ever, imo.
