incredible game, story not as good as city but the combat is just the best variation on all of the other arkham games
If you liked any of the previous Batman games, you'll like this one. If not, there hasn't been much that's changed. It's a good refinement of Arkham combat and traversal, and it's fun to play. I liked the Bat tank, others didn't.
Fantastic. As a trilogy, I'm not a big fan of the story because it gets confusing. I never played the side missions of the Arkham games (except for this one), so maybe that's why the story line is messy (specifically with its antagonists). Arkham Knight alone has an amazing story, though. Enough combat to satisfy those who like killing (or stealth) and those who like a good plot. Very compelling and well designed cut scenes, along with diversity in its missions
Amazing gameplay mechanics given that the game was from 2015, better than nowadays game releases. Character designs were interesting and interactable, the jokers design was a absolute personification of how he is. Only downside for my, in my personal opinion, was the addition of Barbara Gordon. She was useless in the storyline and clearly only added for gender inclusion. I believe it would have been better is Black Bat or Spoiler were added. Adding onto this review, the game captured emotions perfectly, from Arkham Knight to batmans fears.
Definetly recommend this game, your life wont be fulfilled if you miss out
A great ending to a series of 4 games that were pretty hit or miss. I have made it no secret i hated asylum and tolerated city, i actually thought origins and this were the only "great" outings.
I will discuss my negative takeaways as the plot and action is enough to be a super high 4.5 stars.
The Arkham knight is a great villain but there is little emotional connection as a non-comic reader, the second batman started to hallucinate _____ it was obvious it was him and i find it hard to believe batman wouldn't put that together from what Joker was showing him.
The end game being locked out by tedious side quests that are do the same thing 15 times each is a real bore. I even did 9 of them and its not enough to even get an ending. I decided to go to Youtube as i was not having fun and did not want to chip away at 10 more checkpoints (mind you i worked on these all game and even had the whole map cleared halfway through).
The riddler hiding the true ending behind 200 collectables is the biggest spit in the face as this riddler has been consistent trash throughout 4 games. Give me the 2022 movie riddler over all 4 of these riddler appearances combined.
I loved Nightwing, wanted more.
Overall a great game, the best for sure, but the game is a repetitive task list at times that really drags down the score as in another timeline this is a 5 star game.

Best Batman game out there. Graphics still holds up very well, PACKED with content. Fluid and enjoyable gameplay!

This game is one of the most fun games I have ever played and almost wasted my entire weekend playing it it is severly underraded.
God I wish they made more Arkham games, or more DC games in the Arkham style. Replayed all three games this year (2024) and I miss old games.
Wanna Try Some puzzles and action, this game provides really good puzzles with a good story.
I have always found Warner Bros controls and gameplay odd feeling but that doesn't stop this from being an absolutely great game!
This game is literally 20 times better then any other batman game that was made and this game is made in like 2015
8/10 - Very similar to arkham city which is not a bad thing. Often hated batmobile is surprisingly fun (racing it at least), joker being a companion of sorts is very well done. I'd say the story is better, it hits better emotionally compared to arkham city at least. Not a fan of the boss fights tho and the way arkham knight was handled, Batman said like 5 lines to him and that convinced him to drop his years of built up hatred? Really? Even naruto needs more than 5 lines to do that lmfao. Guess batman does have a superpower. . Overall a great game, shame this'll be probably be Rocksteady's last great game.
Fun to play with when using mods. Super easy to download said mods and the game itself runs really well. Would recommend

A really cool end to the Arkham series. All of the most iconic chracters in the Batman universe in one great game.The Deathstroke fight was pretty lame, considering what an enemy he is and the phrases of the riddler were more than annoying, but its still a really great game. The Joker and his lines are just perfect and really funny. Even though some might say its the weakest part in the whole series, its still very worth playing. I can really highly recommend it
The last good Rocksteady game and the best Batman game in my opinion. This is how the Batman died.

The Riddler character in the is extremely irritating like literally 300 trophies.. and really too many batmobile missions which are totally useless even tho there are some cool batmobile missions..

Best Batman game ever! The story, graphics, and gameplay are all top-notch. Gotham looks incredible, the combat is smooth, and the Batmobile is awesome. A must-play for any Batman fan!
The content is repetitive and cheesy, but the graphics and system are good though.
Rocksteady will never cook this hard ever again, genuine masterpiece. All my hours are on PS4, PC port is extremely solid though. Probably the best looking Unreal Engine 3 game ever, it's genuinely hard to believe that it isn't Unreal Engine 4. Loved the Batmobile, and the tank sections were a really nice addition to break up the pace. My only complaint about this game and others in the franchise, is really weak bosses. It's something that every Batman Arkham game struggles with severely. But other than that everything else about this game is near flawless. A true gem.

I'm sorry I haven't played arkham city, but I will after this. With no comparison, I think this game is fricking awesome. The story really fucked me over as a batgirl fan. If you played it you know what happened. I sat there in front of my screen for a solid 5 minutes

I absolutely loved this game. I was lucky enough to get the bundle on sale and don't regret it.
My own plot summary: Batman but darker. I'm an adult and loved it.
Gameplay type: Similar to assasans creed and Shadows of mordor. It's an open world with story missions and boatloads of side missions.
It's easily the best arkham game in terms of gameplay. That being said, despite some of the strong parts of the story, Origins, City, and Asylum still have better stories if you ask me.

i really like this game i 240% the game 3 times on ps4 so i got it on pc to mod it but its a fun game and i dont mind the batmobile sections
The game has an incredible story, and Idk how to explain this, but it just is amazing.
Cannot believe I never played this on original release, its a 10/10 game and looks great for a 2015 game, holds up today 2024 and the gameplay loop is satisfying and addictive, if you like the batman games this is the cream of the crop.

Probably my favorite superhero game off all time. The batmobile sections are the weakest point of the entire game, but there aren't too many of them to take away from the rest of the game.
The open world and graphics are so nice and coming from Marvel's Spider Man Remastered, another amazing game you should definitely check out, it felt fresh but similar

The attention to detail in the story and environment are equaled by none in the game industry. Batman: Arkham Knight seems to finish the trilogy started way back at the Arkham Asylum many years ago. The game took everything to the max and while some things felt to be a bit much it is still an engrossing experience and not to be missed.
It's a near flawless conclusion to the Arkham Trilogy. It's definitely an improvement over Arkham City, but I preferred the latter, just because of too many Batmobile missions here and a bit less interesting story.
Great story with some surprising plot twists.
Gotham City looks good and feels good to travel through.
Lots of side activities.
Thanks to amazing FreeFlow Combat, increasing difficulty of the fights and unlocking new gadgets/moves, you never get bored even after beating up hundreds of thugs.

I love the Arkham series I've played Arkham City now this one.I love the combat easy to learn but made quite challenging.

On a serious note, this game is great. Best game in the series, while the story is not like Arkham City, it still has some good highs. Gameplay is just insanely better from previous games, especially stealth. People say there is too much Batmobile, but I felt like it was a good addition. The first time it felt like a chore was at the last 15-20% of the game, which I don't find that serious to be honest. The biggest thing that's missing are boss fights, other than that, gameplay is so enjoyable and movement feels very clean.
The story has flaws and if you are a comic fan, you could guess who Arkham Knight is easily. But this story's focus is more on Batman's inner conflict, showing that he is truly a damaged and flawed man which I really liked. We interact with a lot of side characters, but not a significant amount, which is underwhelming.
I would recommend everyone to play this game, especially playing the whole Rocksteady Trilogy, which you can acquire for 9€ as a bundle during a Steam sale. One of the biggest robberies out there.

Not as good as the first two in the series, but a great game nonetheless. The main complaint about this one is the Batmobile missions, which I really enjoyed. Most of the DLC was not fun with exception of the Harley Quinn and Batwoman ones. I hear a new game is coming in the near future, can't wait!

Best gameplay in the Arkham series, hands down! But also a less than good story to go with it. Well not everything can be perfect. Still worth it though!
Best batman game out there in my opinion. I've played both asylum and city on 360 at the time, and even so, knight is just different, loved the game
