Batman™: Arkham Knight

Very fun and easy mechanics, take a few games to adapt with it. Hoping that riddlers trophy are more easy to find. Seriously, you need to watch youtube to find it. Hoping Red Hood story are more longer because his is literally badass. Overall 9.5/10

Good game but I like the Arkham City and Asylum more as I personally like simpler gameplay, backed with a good story.
One technical heads up to run this game (Arkham Knight) : DO NOT change any Graphic settings and keep it at the default settings that is already there the first time you launch the game, otherwise, you may get error and the game becomes unplayable. (if this happens, you need to fix this by repairing the Steam local files associated to this game)

Its a fun game, but frustrating AF... even on the easiest mode, I can't get past certain things which will not let me advance to finish the game. No tutorials to help when you start learning the game so you have to YouTube almost everything.

So I end this game at %76 and will move on to the next.

I have 240% this game 3 times now and could definitely do it again. my favourite game ever made and will never change.

PEAK, Knight was amazing and almost as good as city imo. The only complaint I have about this game is the lack of boss fights, but honestly the game is so good that idc about that. The game also looks absolutely beautiful, which is insane considering it realised in 2015. I would 100% recommend this game to any batman fan.

Amazing Game, The DLC for this game is also fun. If someone you know is looking to play the batman games i'd recommend playing the whole trilogy

Bought all three mainline Arkham games on discount, and played through them in order. After finally (technically) finishing Arkham Knight, i can safely say Asylum is still my favorite of the bunch.

I liked Arkham Asylum, because it is such a tight and focused game. The story took you along at a decent pace, it was quite easy to do all collectibles, and the game was just the perfect length for what it is. It took myself around 15-16 hours to complete, which is perfect for a 40-something-year old with other responsibilities.

Arkham City took the concept, and added more of... everything. And not always in a good way. The story i also could not really get invested in. Riddlers side mission especially turned into a completely ridiculous collect-a-thon, to the point where i stopped caring and never finished.

Now, Arkham Knight. Not a bad game in it's core. Gotham looks as pretty as ever in the rain, gliding around is fun, and there's plenty of fun things to do. Combat and all the different gadgets can be fun, if simplistic. I also personally experienced no technical issues or crashes during the 30-ish hours i played, AMD system, Windows 11.

So why the negative review?

At some point i found myself having done most of the story side missions apart from Riddler (still a collect-a-thon), and after maybe 24-25 hours was starting to feel slight fatigue. So i decided to continue with the main story to the end.

And the further i got, the more negative my view of Arkham Knight became. It felt never ending. Fight 20 drones, fight 40 drones, fight 60 drones. You love the Batmobile, right? Here's a vehicular boss fight. Getting tired? Here are the militias best of the best of the best. Still not enough? Here's an even bigger mob, with special guys requiring you to utilize your gadgets to beat. Better take them out first!

And during certain points of the story, new checkpoints, roadside bombs and drones appeared. Stuff i thought i had already done and were already marked as 100 %. Stuff that i did early on purpose, because i knew i'd otherwise get frustrated with. But no, we have to have more. So i thought f--k it, i've seen this gimmick, i'm just going to continue on with the main story.

And then, as i finally felt like this must have been the end, the game informed me that i must still clear more checkpoints, more drones, more watch towers. It was at that point i just felt defeated. I just wanted to play through to the end and enjoy a nice cutscene to wrap it all together, but felt like i wasn't allowed to.

And that ending? Boy howdy. But don't worry, it isn't the true ending. That one you apparently get only if you 100 % everything? Though what i've gathered from discussions, the true ending doesn't add much, so just watch it on Youtube.

Overall, the story had potential with it's themes, but felt... unfinished?

Again: i don't think Arkham Knight is a bad game. If you like Batman and 3rd person action games, and you get a good deal, go for it. But it does in my personal opinion, not really know to quit while it's ahead.

Riddler missions make this game absolutely unplayable and needlessly time consuming.

This game is honestly just too good (even if you've never played the previous games like I did). The story is amazing and being able to glide around Gotham as Batman is just too clean man. The combat and versatility you can do is really smooth for an almost 10 year old game and the Batmobile missions are actually a lot cooler than I thought they’d be (Literally I remember despising the driving parts as well because it be so slippery until i got used to it). There’s always something happening and a bunch of cool side missions with other villains too.

The only thing I didn’t really like is you have to collect every single Riddler trophy just to see the full knightfall protocol. There are so many trophies (fucking 243) and it just gets kind of tiring after a while. It feels like a lot of work for something that could have been collectibles that you opted to do. I also wished scarecrow was a more integral villain considering he was actually the boss of the Arkham Knight(?). From what I heard, apparently deathstroke was actually butchered than the one in the previous game, and I did find his bossfight a bit boring because it never offered anything new (my game also got bugged and he was stuck on this bridge and it allowed me to basically end him with no drawbacks at all). But besides that, it’s an amazing experience and totally worth playing, especially if you like Batman or action games in general.

A True All-Star Experience.

if you start this game be aware that after finishing the game. you hate all games. i spend 52 hours on this game and as a batman fan it was super enjoying for me.

Excellent game. Not sure why they had to make the Penguin British. It really breaks the immersion. The visual presentation of the game leaves nothing to be desired. This is how games should be.

A verdadeira masterpiece, jogaço, e vários outros adjetivos positivos que eu possa dar a esse jogo.
- Gameplay: Impecável. Não preciso nem me aprofundar.
- Gráficos: Lindos, absolutamente lindos.
- História: Interessante e bem feita.
- DLC's: Adicionam bastante ao jogo principal, muito boas.
- Bátmovel: O jogo não tem tanto Batmovel quanto a galera fala, mas ainda assim ele ocupa cerca de 50% do jogo. Não é algo negativo, porque você tem um arsenal completo que lhe permite a variabilidade durante a gameplay com ele.

O ponto negativo desse jogo é a falta de Boss fights on foot. Me lembro de apenas umas 3 boss battles que eram com o Batman, e não com o Batmóvel. Foi desperdício da gameplay não colocar bosses para aproveitarmos ela ao máximo. As 4 DLC's adicionam 2 Boss e alguns mini bosses para compensar.
No final ainda é um jogo absurdo e merecedor da nota 10/10.

This game really is the pinnacle of the Batman Arkham Trilogy and is an amazing open world game that truly makes you feel like Batman. This game took what the past Batman Arkham games did and improved upon everything from using the environment in fighting and utilizing the environment more effectively during predator mission to all the side quests with all the different villains talking advantage of the chaos caused across Gotham City. I honestly think that the only reason why they have not made a follow up to the Arkham series is because they don't even know how to start going about making a better Batman experience.

According to the game synopsis, it's events happen throughout one night.
Average playtime is from 17 to 32 hours.
Damn that's one long ass night.

This is an awesome game. There are many criticisms, but the positives make up for it. First, the boss battles in this game are not the best as the previous games. With the brand new addition of the batmobile, it is overused a lot. The graphics, the story, perfecting the combat and predator sections, the music, and even the batmobile makes this game worth it. One of the best in the series, highly recommended.

I really enjoyed playing this game.
The main quests are very well done, some of the side quests are almost mini-games, and I really enjoy them.

Launching on dual monitors, the game defaults to what seems to be ultrawide but isn't. So half the screen disappears including the options menu and the confirm video settings Y/N. i had to blindly fiddle around until i finally got it to show only on 1 monitor.

Also the game still has huge bugs: on a bomb defuse section i cleared all enemies but the prompt to disarm the bomb never came because its still "in progress". It is a known bug and u just have to restart checkpoint and do the whole thing again.

90 fps cap. its fine. way better than when i played it on PS4. i have a feeling i can change in .ini file somewhere, but i'd rather not mess around considering how terrible the PC port of Arkham games were at launch. Also its using SMAA anti aliasing. its not as bad as TAA, but i'd still turn it off since there's no MSAA.

All those complaints aside, Arkham Knight is the coolest and best looking Rocksteady game. That doesn't necessarily mean its the best Arkham game, but it is arguably the best looking Unreal Engine 3 (heavily modified) DX11 game.

Very cool, worth a play. Arkham City on the other hand is a Must Play, so make sure to play that one first.

This game i bought years ago never had the time to finish it. This year play the game on Steam Deck and the game were really good, despite not having any breakthrough since Arkham City but the game is still fun to play too bad the frachise went down hill after the greedy exec at Warner Studios want more shitty live service game. This game will forever be the last gem of Batman Arkham series.

This is one of my top three games I've played ever.

A scintillating story with a lot of twists, turns and jump scares.

Gameplay seamlessly transfers from ground to spider-man to flying to Batmobile and everything in between. The transitions between gameplay and cutscene are nearly flawless as well.

Got this on sale for 4$ and it was definitely worth it. Tons to do.

Crazy game, Definitely up there with arkham city, Get to explore gotham.

This game still holds up to be one of the best games to ever come out. The graphics are astounding, the story is phenomenal, and the combat is top notch! Trying to master your entire gadget set, mastering stealth sections, and riding around in a tank is absolutely amazing. My only draw back is the overuse of the Batmobile in the game, specifically for bosses, can feel a tad bit repetitive. If you're looking to feel the true experience of becoming the Batman, this is a perfect choice for you.

Finished all the Arkham games (4/4), the story is overall good, graphics are exceptional. There are some cape bugs so that makes it 9/10 for me. Definitely worth playing

This is a game for all fighting enthusiasts. This game is simply so good, I have replayed it 3 times. The environment is so good. The fighting and countering and fear multi-takedowns are awesome. I do reccomend playing Arkham Asylum first and then Arkham City if you want the full story. But the batmobile is so fun to drive around and there is so much to do. It is a great open world game that is just super fun to play and you WILL play this over and over and wish you forgot the entire game just to play it again. 10/10

Definitely a must play, the story is 8/10. Graphics, Sound Design, Music, Storytelling is a 10/10. Overall, an 8.5 out of ten, I must deduct points for having to require players to solve all of Riddler's puzzles to get the 'true'

Hell of a game. Great story, Best gameplay out of all the batman games, and great ending. If im being totally honest it's better than Arkham city because of it's better gameplay and better open world. My complaint with this game is that the Batmobile is a bit overused, it takes over many of the boss battles and puzzles. But the combat with the Batmobile is underrated. Its good for what it is and it deserves less hate. The graphics are ahead of its time, the game is stunning. And this game is only $20 dollars too. I highly recommend this game, especially if you're a Batman/DC fan.

quite possibly the best superhero game ever made, really makes you feel like the bat. combat and stealth is made 10x more challenging than the previous entries. this game's depiction of scarecrow is the most conniving, cunning, and scary version of the character, and john noble's performance makes it a lot better. kevin conroy and mark hamill are obviously amazing as always, but i especially love hamill in this game. the graphics are better than some ue5 games (less bloated too) and the gameplay and sound design are even better. highly recommend.

Very good story (Shoutout to Mr J) and game mechanics, but some side missions might feel repetitive after a while. Recommended !

Overall it was quite fun but the ending left a lot to be desired. I don't want to just randomly roam around the map for hours so I can see the real ending of the game. Really dropped the abll there. Pick it up on sale and it's a good game though. I think they didn't really have the real detective vibes of the original arkham asylum game though.

the controls feel terrible, the side missions aren't that great, the riddles are annoying and tedious, and the AR-Challenges are just buggy as hell
