At the moment there is only a basic save system this will be upgraded in a future release ...please bear with us on this......Also Crafting will start to play a bigger role in the game as new updates role out.

Don't buy this game. Just don't.
It was intended to be a Fallout-style game featuring an open world and survival, crafting and exploration mechanics. At one point in time, the game looked like it does in the trailer: Starting in a hospital, fighting your way out, escaping a city, and then attempting to live in the wild.
That's all gone. All of it. At some point they decided to start over, and then simply abandoned the game.
In the version currently available, there are a small handful of quests, no voice acting, limited crafting (4 recipes), 3 weapons to find, and 3 major locations to visit. Everything else is simply a scattering of assets.
I would rather play Fallout 76 at launch that suffer through this again.

OMG!!! I hope the developer decides to roll back to the original version of the game from 2015, because the game which I just re-installed and played was a complete different game.
It started off well enough, I saw a camp, a much better start than the original game which saw you awakening in a hospital. I made my way outside and began talking to a few NPC's.. Ok gooe enough, nothing to see here..
Jim Bob, or Billy Bob, or whatever the heck his name was instructed me to take up arms as infected were coming to play.
I went into the gun shack and!!!! Controls didn't work.. Alarm bell goes off... gun shoots ring out.. Still nothing, I can see my gun sitting there, taunting me, yet it won't pick up.
After a 20 seconds about 20 infected decided to invade the Gun Shack... WTF happened to the Zombie models from the 2015 game, these ones were stretch out and odd looking. Fake, unrealistic.. The only one that looked even slightly decent resembled Slenderman I guess. I can't imagine which part of the development team decided altering the game in such a way was a good idea..
This has to be one of the single worst games I've ever played, the SS's on the storepage were taken from the 2015 version of the game, which are no longer valid, the newest version of this game is a complete and and utter flaming turd. This game which had so much potential at one time is totallly..... "In the words of Gordan Ramsey, the developers are out of control" They took the few positives and removed them, stamped on them, set them on fire, and continued to add gasoline just to ensure no resembelence to a good game existed.
I'd suggest you never buy this game, in fact if you feel like buying this game, poke out your eyes with an ice pick, or better yet, gather up all your worldly possessions and burn them. In fact just burn yourself. you'll have more fun waiting for your skin to char and crisp then you'd ever have playing this piece of crap.
Ugg I played the updated game for a few minutes and needed a shower, I now know how an inmate feels after being passed around for a few cigerettes..
PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS GAME, TRUST ME, BURN IT, KILL THE ABOMINATION
Revamped Review.
Its dead. As in really dead.
No one is home.
The lights are off, but they are coming to collect the money left by poor sods who dont read reviews or check info prior to buying.

Absolute shitshow of a production. Old dev abandoned the game, "new" dev hasn't posted in what, 18 months? All evidence of posts from "new" dev RockPaperGames deleted from this forum. Lots of ancient update posts deleted too. I know it's obvious by now that this game has been dead for about two years but I decided to update one last time as of Sept. 17 2017.
Worst music ever, annoying and repetitive. graphics are okay, the enemies are annoying and they sound plain awful... like retards. its fun but needs a lot of work.

Open world walk for 10min hit the end of the map and fall to my death.World is empty did not see 1 zombie in the open world i think the most fun i had with this was jumping of the edge of map. It is alpha but i don't see this game going far.
TIme played: 1 minute.
Basic interface customization does not appear to be available yet. I could not invert the mouse, so the game is not playable for me at this time. Dissappointing. Cannot recommend at this time.

This game is a pile of ... something. Wish i could refund and buy me a sixpack of beer with the money but i cant :-(
(I feel the need of re- reviewing this game after failing to find out how to play it)
Pros:
- This is not another game like Day Z or Neather where you're in a world trying to live with no incentive,
This is a story based RPG styal game more compairable to Fallout 3. Heck the diologe menu when talking to NPC's is the same as Fallout 3.
- The game plays great. Gameplay is very solid and each item is diffrent.
Cons:
- Poor optimization. The game will run great on full settings in some areas but just goes from 60 to 8 in others, now I can play higher quality games then this on full settings and get a better framerate.
- Zombies kill you in 1 to 2 hits. For the player it takes 7-8 hits to kill a zombie but you die in two. So best aviod all zombies.

this is a different review than before. this game is going no where. $8 bucks or not we should get a working finished game. now we have to wait god know's how long for a whole new game. SMH!
