Useless game. Without a walkthrough I have gotten stuck.
Pretty good, can be a bit frustrating trying to figure out some puzzles, but then that is the idea of the game. So if you like to test your puzzle solving skills this is a good game.
Hard to recommend this game. It seems like a lot of effort was put in but things like controls were not polished. I have constant issues with mouse acceleration and the game studdering while I look around. I was going to ignore that but even basic things like moving balls around or using the gravity gun are painful.
Slow, boring and repetitive, the gimmick wears off fast.
I played the entire game and after considering it a while, I don't think that I can recommend it. It has a bit of a Portal feel, but without any story and none of the humor. What's important here though are the puzzles and the mechanics. The game looks pretty good but I found very few of the puzzles to be interesting from a problem solving perspective. I think I spent about 10 times as much time simply trying to nudge things into exactly the right spot than I did trying to figure out how the puzzles needed to be solved.
Even that maybe wouldn't have bothered me too much if the mechanics weren't so terribly annoying. So you have the ability to move an acid ball from lets say 1 meter away. Guess exactly what distance you start taking damage from an acid ball at? You guessed it, exactly the same distance. So every single time you need to move one of these things you have to rush in, push it as fast as you can, and get out again. It's so annoying and serves no purpose that I can see. And it's not like this is something you have to do once or twice. It's more like this is how you spend most your time in the game.
The one pretty cool mechanic of being able to go back in time whenever and as much as you want doesn't really serve any purpose except to fix mistakes. It's not as if you can cleverly do something, go back in time, and end up changing where things were. Everything goes back in time exactly how it was. So, if you were super careful you would never need this ability. Now with the crazy annoying mechanics it is super important, but then if you use it you won't get the achievment for not using it at the end of each level. It's kind of a slap in the face when you have to be so careful at every step to avoid the many game mechanic based pitfalls.
I will say that I was happy with the final level and the ending. Still, I feel like I got much more frustration from this game than I got enjoyment.
Entropy rising is a nice 3D puzzle game. It is fun to play with the game physics to solve puzzles. The time rewind feature is very handy - after getting used to it you will miss it in other games!
The difficulty varies over time, however the game doesn’t get boring. There are a lot of different game elements - gravity electricity, heat and more. You can manipulate the world in various ways. My favorite one is the "Gravi Gun" which allows you to shoot and move giant gravity bubbles.
I keep trying to get into this game, but I just can't. I just didn't find it very interesting, unlike other games such as Portal or Talos Principle.
Neat little puzzle game. It's not portal, but I enjoyed these 5 hours.
No particular bugs, except for wonky lighting.
Entropy Rising is a nice little puzzle game. It's very Portal in its atmosphere yet manages to be its own thing. The "rewind" feature helps it to be accessible to those not as familiar to this type of game - you can have as many goes as you need.
Overall, a nice little relaxing puzzle game with a lovely atmosphere and for £3.99 I'd absolutely reccomend it!
A very nice puzzle game with some interesting and unique mechanics. Levels can be challenging, but any mistakes can be easily undone by going back in time. There are also some secrets hidden around, which I really liked!
Managed to provide graphics worse than HL2 using the same settings and hardware.
Shitty Performance, shitty graphics , lagger than 3A new games
Pro: A very enjoyable puzzle game that uses a unique concept for controlling bubbles of gravity. It's also pretty cool that you can rewind time whenever you want.
Con: There's no dialog or story, and it crashed once.
This is a fun first-person puzzle game. The puzzle progression is quite good. Some of it is starting to rely on timing, but not enough that it is frustrating to me just yet. The only thing this game is missing is a kick-ass story of some sort and it would jump higher up my favorite list.
I was pretty bored. The go back in time ability seemed more like a gimmick rather than beneficial to gameplay, it just disallowed failure states entirely. Game has no personality and feels really boring, also very lacking in polish, its very bare bones. Also i felt the fun was controlled; why have a magnet gun if you cant propel things with it? Just grabbing things is boring. Even the gravity gun which was kinda cool was limited by only being shot on a certain kind of wall which just made it super tedious instead of letting players have fun with it. It honestly felt like a chore, and I was bored within minutes. Go play Portal 2 instead of this.
Really enjoyed this game alot. Some very creative puzzles. The controls were very responsive and game flowed nicely. Along the lines of portal but I would not say a clone since the game mechanics were quite different in how puzzles get solved. My only nit was that there is no save game featutr within a level. Certainly not a deal killer though . Would be nice to see more of this game in the future. Keep up the good work guys.
Does not work in Windows 10. I can play top FPS games running SLI 780ti's but cannot open a simple first person puzzle game. The game fails at the start up everytime. Uninstalls/restarts and all the normal work arounds to not work.
Refunding...
The time reversal ability and other gravity affecting abilities are really cool and the game ran pretty well on my system, which is always a nice surprise as it's not exactly top of the line.
Ultimately I can't recommend this game because it just doens't seem like a finished game. IT has no personality at all. The story is told very very sparsely and I never felt connected to the world. It was an ok brain teaser, but I expect a little more from my games.
Entropy Rising is a unique game. Sure it takes its inspiration from Braid and Portal, but it has taken the good parts of both those games and come up with a fresh idea.
This game has a mixture of clever puzzles, interesting environments and it does a really good job of giving the world a sense if weight and gravity as you interact with it. I am enjoying my time with this game currently, it has a few minor negative points. Those points and my gameplay are featured below.

A ton of potential here and I had fun in parts but it's too glitchy and unpolished to be worth it at the moment. If this was an early access release i'd be more foregiving but apparently this is the finished game. I'm gonna go play Portal 2 again.
Quite pretty. Actually nicer looking than portal in a lot of ways but missing the style and sense of humor. The platforming controls are pretty good, but the puzzles are only average and I'm often left wondering what to do due to the slim tutorials. 6/10
