For me this game is absolutely great. Very creative. I played hundreds of games in my life and this one is one of my favorites.
They should make more games like this
yummers
Wonderful game that I find utterly relaxing thanks to the music and free-form open-world gameplay. Yet depending on your playstyle it can also be satisfyingly intense, launching rapid salvos in CQC attempting to strike at the enemy's core or break their ship in half. I've only played in singleplayer but the amount of top-tier workshop mods and customization available is perfect. Whether you want to build outlandish garden-warships that grow the resource that allows them to become ever-larger, or if you want to pilot a high-speed missile boat that zips through enemy line cracking battlecruisers in half, there is a faction for you (and plenty of level-up resource for completely changing course with your playstyle early on. My great gratitude to all the developers and modders who make and balance this thoroughly enjoyable game, I have no complaints.
Start as a small ship for the faction you choose (unlocked by destroying ships of that faction, besides the starting faction) and slowly work your way up into building the strongest ship (and soon fleet) in your faction. Very Casual, as death only results in dropping easy-to-obtain resources, and you respawn at the closest safe factory. Not all factions have the same parts to choose from, and the different shapes allows for a lot of different geometric combinations.
One of the best hidden gems on steam.
this game is a blast for all ages
peak (help)
Very much a mess around in the sandbox game and to be clear it's not hard, it's fairly simplistic.
It's pretty much a sandbox to explore the different kinds of ships you want to make. I probably would pick it up for say $5, I enjoyed it a lot when I was younger but now that I'm looking for a lot more in games it's hard to suggest that full price.
The visuals likewise are simple but they honestly do look fairly pretty in action due to the effects.
Everyone says it but I really do think this game could have benefited from some peer to peer multiplayer. As is once you learn the game it's easy to steamroll the AI, conquer territory, and then never receive any push back. With multiplayer you could have potentially face a lot of unique player designed ships since whatever ships you design in this game will start being pushed out by your faction.
The devs have a video explaining how ships will be shared between people's games and honestly that's only a half truth. They appear as "unique" agent spawns which are basically one time boss spawns. It's cool but we could've had more.
noice
Fun, allows for tons of different play styles
Simple game with a multitude of styles
epic spaceship builder game would play again
it just kinda feels mildly unfinished and jank
Simple good fun with a great soundtrack.
like building ships to blow up other ships with?
then this is for u.
it also has plenty of mods for all sorts of crazy ship building
Really fun sim game that shows how bad I am at designing anything....
its a fun little game
a really fun game that only really lacks some polish and has a few bugs that need to be worked out that probably never will. the bugs are physics based, particularly how the game wants you to build ships in a particular way or small or it will shake itself apart. the game is fairly reminiscent of old browser flash games and it does its job well at keeping you entertained and creative
I wanted reasons to keep playing this game so I did all the achievements, including the "have control of every area of the galaxy" achievement. The only game on Steam that I've 100%'ed.
If you like the Starfield game loop of:
1. Upgrade ship
2. Use better ship to get more resources
3. Repeat.
you'll like this game even more.
great game tons of mods lots of stuff to build
Yeah it's pretty good, I suppose.

good
one of the best games ever.
Absolutely love this game. I remember playing years ago on my macbook laptop, and even now the game holds even greater respect in my heart. This game is truly beautiful, and playing it is a wonderful journey.
fun
Not a difficult game but a good way to wind down at the end of the day.
UI is a bit weird, and i think gamepad controls were an afterthought.
7/10
An interesting take on asteroids style gameplay, but with essentially limitless customization options for what you want to utilize as weaponry, defense, and fleet control. 10/10 as far as twin-stick rogue-like games go.
This game is quite addicting!
So... addictive.
This game should really have multiplayer - but otherwise, so interesting in its deceptive simplicity.
This is one of those games that really makes me wish I didn't have to go positive or negative along with my text. Like, I had an absolutely terrible time with the game, but only because I loathe 'realistic' space games from a top down perspective where I have to remember at any given point in time which way my nose is aimed so that I can use the proper right/left strafe key. I don't mind them so much in first/third person perspective games because at least then the controls are consistent. But in this game when the "a" key may make me move any which direction on the screen, based on the position of my ship's nose, and any game with controls like this (the old Atari game Asteroids comes to mind), I die due to not being where I intended to be, and that frustrates the HECK out of me. The graphics? They were going for a specific aesthetic and nailed it. The music? Amazing! I'm just not able to wrap my brain around the controls to a point where I'll be happy with how I can move my ship, and that's not for me.
Wow, this game is actually very fun, soundtrack slaps too!
skibidi
Light download. Good game.
It's not the greatest game in the world or anything but it's pretty awesome and the price is right.
Great style.
I loved this game in it's prime but understand that the devs discontinued supporting a couple systems so now the game is kind of broken in those aspects (wormholes (the intended gameplay loop is often broken in some saves, and agents (playermade boss's) only work sort of?)
perfectly meshes sandbox and shoot em up
