Starlight Drifter

Hundreds of years after the beginning of the interstellar age... Humanity now lives among the stars. But they were not the first. Many beings came before them. Some of them became our allies. Others became enemies. Wars were fought. Since then humanity has gone through the crucible, the last government known as the I.E.R. has fallen leaving only corporations like the U.S.C. to rule the planets of man.
In this game you take on the role of a drifter in this deep universe, recently finding a salvageable vessel you are finally able to live your life long dream to captain your own starship, form a crew and make your own way out in the universe for good or bad.
But your new ship is no ordinary junker vessel, it is one of the last remnants of the I.E.R. a century old government that dissapeared from existence taking its advanced technology with them. This ship appears to be one of the last prototypes from the era of the I.E.R. and is equipped with an almost mythological drive system that allows for almost instantaneous travel between systems via Quantum space.
With such a ship at your disposal you really can make a name for yourself and take center stage in an expanding universe.

Game Features

• Player Customization - Choose your name & gender, and what your character looks like, all of which will have various effects on the people you meet and the decisions you must make during the course of the game.
  
• Crew Upgrades - Talk to your crew in between events to get to know them better, helping them out with their problems will improve their on the job skill and open up options for additional ship enhancements.
  
• Crew Relationships - After a crew member has been leveled up you can try to court them and possibly build a greater friendship with them or possibly even more.
  
• Directed Sandbox - Explore a massive universe, help or hinder the aliens you meet, do as you wish with random events, missions and a larger plot to unravel as well, the universe will be large and varied with the choices you make determining how the game will unfold for you.
  
• Slice of Life - Build your own life in the strange, vast hostile universe, take your crew from job to job and mission to mission, explore, build, make friends, start wars, trade and live in the directed-sandbox where you decide how your crew behaves and the type of ship you lead from mercenary to merchant.
  
• Crew Jobs & Missions - In addition to general exploration you will be able to unlock specific missions on the galactic map, by taking jobs at space stations, getting to know your crew or making the right (or wrong) choices whilst in various missions & events.
  
• Hire a crew - You will begin the game with an AI system who controls the ship for you, but as you explore you can hire, rescue or even kidnap new officers, who will bring with them their own expertise & abilities to aid you, as well as new missions, events and story-lines to enjoy and unravel.
