This was an amazing game, and is still my fav by far.

A short but interesting walking simulator. It has Stephen Russel one of the main characters so if nothing else you can enjoy listing to his voice.
Such a based game.
Many games released in 10s tried too hard to do this "this game knows you exist" thing which eventually became so overdone that many good examples of that trope now can only annoy you. However I think The Magic Circle is an exception that stood the test of time, mainly because this "meta" thing serves the narrative purpose and translates the main ideas of the game really well. Bad and arrogant creators drive their games into development hell on the one side and crazy fans and gamers act entitled believing they are owed something on the other. Still relevant today, just as it was in 2015 and years before that. And the gameplay is great, the main mechanic is huge fun.
This game was, quite simply, an unexpected surprise.
If you like meta-writing like Stanley Parable/The Beginner's Guide this is very much in a similar vein and done very well. Unlike those other two (this isn't a complaint of the other two), there is actual gameplay here that's actually incredibly fun and very unique.
Good chunk of stuff to find, well-placed secrets, awesome voice acting and good traversal. It honestly has it all. It may be a bit short but it's absolutely an exciting experience.
Behold my army of mushrooms
A wonderfully unique puzzle-adventure hybrid about the pitfalls of game development. The main mechanic of ripping parts off creatures to glue onto your own is incredibly fun and explored in a variety of interesting ways, with all sorts of solutions to the many puzzles.
Game is quite short, but well worth the price on sale.

I’ve been looking for an experience similar to Stanley Parable. It’s not it (similar only in the meta theme of game satire), but it’s still good.
4-9 hours of pretty good content If you enjoy the presentation style with a really cool surprise at the end.
