Love this game
The game... Just ends... Lol. Like really abruptly! It only starts to get good as the mystery deepens and that no one can get one over her and then BAM! ENDING CREDITS! Okay... XD
I started off with THESE type of H.O.Gs! Yep! So I am used to clutter and timers and such... The newer ones with the nicer graphics make me ask "where is the clatter...?" or "why are there so little H.O.G. parts?" Either way, you get used to it.
It was rather interesting/fun for me. AND NO, you don't just FIND items all the time... They do switch it up with um "Find the difference, but still find that object" and "connect 7/8/9"? Also jigsaw type puzzles present. Loved the cute animals + that sexy angel statue. We should have those everywhere. One of different demons too. But now we are officially off topic.
And now we are back. Enjoyment was had. That's all it mattered. ^-^!

Overall the game is mid. I like the story, but the actual gameplay is okay.
The game wasn't exactly bad, it just wasn't that great. The story line wasn't that engaging and left a lot of questions open. It was a story with puzzles on the side, no real control over any action or exploration. Didn't require much in the way of thought. I ended up clicking through all the text and just doing to puzzles and the game was perfectly completable playing it in that way.

This game is pretty boring, it's a very basic hidden object game with a very basic story line without much depth. I skipped through the cut scenes entirely and that's unlike me as I enjoy games with a good story. All I could think was Indiana Jones did it better. It was really cheap so I can't really complain too much. If you're bored and want to kill a few hours, this might be for you.
I appreciate hidden object games when they are well made, but this one is just lazy. There is hardly any original artwork in this game; it looks like they just pasted a bunch of clip art on top of stock photos, and what is even worse, they reuse the same clip art in every scene, so you are finding the exact same objects over and over. There are tons of HOGs on Steam now, and most of them are better than this one.
Good Point and Click, Hidden Object game with a few easy puzzles. Cute little story, but it leaves you on a cliff hanger, and the game is extremely short. I reccomend if you like these type of games, but I would only get it if it is significantly on sale.
Meh. Ok HOG. Buy it on sale. Otherwise I'd skip it.

TLDR: You spend time sorting mundane clutter. So much clutter you often have to fall back on the hint system to mop up levels. Unengaging.
Unfortunately there is no relation between all the clutterfind hidden object scenes and the slideshow plot. The environments are scrollable and slightly animated, but there is just no fun in sorting out neckties and umbrellas piled onto a scene haphazardly. The plot did not really hook either, the whole templar investigation thing felt boring and it just was not thematic with the clutter scenes at all. Not much of anything related to crusaders or you being in the FBI most times. The game sometimes had you hunt down really small and hard to see items. Due to the saturation of the hidden object genre I would rather spend time on an Artifex Mundi title.
The use of royalty free classical songs felt distinctly low budget.
Very interesting PURE hidden object game, but very short
Old-school hidden object goodness
No point and click problem solving, no long cutscenes with voice acting, only minimal and skippable puzzles. This HOG focuses on object finding, the way I like them.
What I enjoyed
- The HO scenes play in the classical PopCap way that I like. Objects blend in and require skill, but they are not cheaply obstructed / hidden - most of the time.
- Scrollable scenes, and an object list that helpfully dims each item name if you need to scroll to see it (almost too helpful, as it makes finding stuff extremely easy).
- Some of the HO scenes are beautifully rendered "Da Vinci's sketchbook" looking layouts. Looks great and provides an alternative to photorealism.
- One mini-game had me finding anachronistic or "intruder" items inserted into a painting of Christopher Columbus, such as kangaroos and AK-47s. That was funny.
- Nice character art in the story sections (except for the main character - see below).
- The historical journal provides an interesting backdrop to an otherwise dull plot.
- Once you finish the story mode, all the locations unlock for your clicking pleasure, in a time challenge mode that you can ignore if you want. So you can keep coming back to the game every once in a while.
What I didn't like
- Some ridiculous mistakes in the English text throughout the game.
- I said the objects are well hidden - most of the time. The few times they aren't, it's just a cheap opacity trick that would be infuriating if not for the scrolling trick. Or the hint button.
- No widescreen, and the art resolution is a few years old.
- You see the main character in the game's cover art on Steam? You see that bored, irritated look on her face? That's the only artwork of her that's going to accompany you throughout the game. I don't know if they were trying to get a "professional" look on the face of this FBI agent / art expert but she just looks like she's thinking "I hate this job. I hate these people."
- I didn't think anything could make me dislike Moonlight Sonata, but this game overuses it to such a degree that I just muted it eventually.

I'd give this a 7 out of 10. 90% hidden object games with very little repeat of HOG scenes (maybe 2). Some of the objects were fairly hard to find.
This one is a miss. The story seems like it could have some potential, but the spelling and grammar are both awful enough to distract you. The hidden object puzzles are pretty straight forward and easy, and there isn't really much movement or progression. The game is broken into chapters and you basically click a scene, complete it, then click the next scene, etc. There are much better HO games out there. If you're desperate for options, or find this one for a buck, give this one a shot; otherwise I'd say it's worth skipping.

Story is so so.
I clicked Recommend, but there's a caviat... I would only recommend this game IF you like HO games and IF you have an interest in the Templar history. If you're not big fans of both, don't bother with this game; stick to the Artifex Mundi titles.
The objects in the HO scenes are nicely done, but be aware that you may have some difficulty clicking on some items like the flashlight, especially if they overlap. You can tell from the character dialog that English is not the native language, and I'm OK with that, but some of their labels are misleading if not inaccurate. (I'm a female and even I know a Leatherman multi-tool is not a swiss army pocketknife).
I also found the ending very abrupt and rather stupid. Anyone with any knowledge of the Holy Grail would understand that they wouldn't let her just run off with the real one that easily and other reasons she should have realized it was a fake. Of course the "bad guys" believe you to be stupid, Jane. You know all about Templar/Holy Grail history, but you couldn't figure those things out? I know - it leaves room for a sequel. Not sure I'll play it if they do make one, though...

Like it, but was a little short.
With the vast number of hidden object games available, there are plenty of other places to spend your money that would be more satisfying.
Gameplay is the typical old-fashioned HO style: a handful of scenes to complete per chapter, then advancing to the next chapter and next set of scenes, etc. This is pure hidden-object with an occasional minigame tossed in for variety. If you're looking for more of a HO/Adventure game (i.e. the Artifex Mundi style), with puzzles and inventory and object usage, this is not the game you're looking for.
Gameplay itself is easy and the HO puzzles and minigames are not overly challenging. Problems come in when objects are not well-labeled, making you search for something that actually is something else entirely. There is also lack of precision with objects layered on top of other objects; there have been times in my playthrough where I couldn't click an objec that was directly behind another one, forcing me to pixel-hunt for a clickable spot (with the accompanying irritating error beep every time the top object blocked the other).
The dialogue is stilted and not believable. Dialogue cutscenes that advance the game are tedious and hard to read due to the poor grammar and writing. I don't expect these games to be the height of literature, but I do expect appropriate proofreading and quality control. That said, I don't know this game's origins and it may actually be a poor translation into English if this was originally in a different language.
I have a personal fascination with Templar history, which is why I picked this up, but unfortunately the tedium and poor writing vastly overpowered my love of Grail legends. Given a choice, I would not purchase again, and I'm relieved I got this one on sale. It's not godawful for what it is, but I would personally exhaust the myriad other HO games available first before considering this one.
An old-school style Hidden Object game without any point-and-click adventuring parts.
Even the separate mini game is a simple chinese checkers style game that only shows up a couple of times.
Scrolling screens, layered screens, find (and correct) errors in mirror mode, and best of all, time challenges on all the levels when you have completed the game.
A nice change of pace from the new trend of casual point-and-click adventures with a few Hidden Object scenes thrown in for good measure.
