Suprised I Haven't made a Review for this game, but I really enjoyed this game a couple years ago, with mod is truly the game. 8.9/10
This is a wonderful game. There are constantly new features, contents, and updates. I certainly have my favorite characters that I play again and again, but any characters are fun to play and comes with their own perks. The creators made things easier for their gamers with how they implimented mods, unlike other games.

Honestly, it can be overwhelming at times—balancing hunger, sanity, and health while trying to prepare for the next threat. But somehow, I find that challenge addictive.

The hand-drawn, Tim Burton-esque graphics are captivating, and the dark humor sprinkled throughout makes the tension more bearable. The cooperative aspect is also a highlight. The game is really fun with friends, sadly its also a bit stale since progress is really steep after the first handful of hours and its INCREDIBLY hard to play if you dont enjoy researching the game vs. just playing and trying.
Overall still fun, but be aware of the difficult curve.
this game is got kinda wierd now cus of the skilltrees,a shit ton of powercreep,and maxwell and wanda dont work as glass cannons,but eh,i still find the game fun,and i love the art style

I watched Floydson play 100 and 200 days of Don't stave which is a bit different but not much. Its a great game and fun to play with friends and is crazy enough to have dumb moments making it fun. One example me and my friend were chased by a giant hound and we were unable kill it so we summoned the queen boss to see what would happen. We died so fast but so chaotic and fun. Only thing that suck is the rabbit king that i cant seem to disable and is very strong and don't want it but its new and most likely will change over time.

Sharpest learning curve I have ever experienced, You learn everything from trial and error or looking it up online. All of the survivors has their own lore, mechanics and perks. This game is CONSTANTly getting updates and has an active community.
First question i asked when started the game wasn't how to craft or anything, it was how to not starve, i had no idea what is food and what's not, result: died on first night.
10/10 survival game, totally worth buying. "Especially if you're new to this type of games :)"
My ex introduced this game to me, I loved every minute of the time I spent on this game with her. I love the ambiance of every season, and how it challenged us, how grueling and exciting the exploration was. I can't play this game anymore though, I miss her every time I try.
If you play this alone, it's a great time but try to play this with someone you love, it's difficult to survive but the time you will spend figuring this game out, I'm sure will be a great memory to remember.
like the first one but with multiplayer and combines all the dlcs (besides hamlet) and the base game together and adds some more stuff. def better than the first but i would prefer rog for singleplayer since this game lags more and enemies have more health. still pretty fun. 10/10

The game just sucks. Period.
My "WET" alchemy lab made of METAL took about 20 minutes to make, then got struck by LIGHTNING less than 5 seconds later and burnt to the ground during a RAIN storm in less than 30 seconds total, taking my science machine with it (in endless mode btw which is easier than the default difficulty). Not even a slight exaggeration. Within 5 seconds of me placing it down it was struck, less than 30 seconds I was at square one. Metal burning to the ground after getting struck by lightning during a rainstorm... Make it make sense...
Genuinely so angry from all the BS I dealt with giving this game MORE than a fair try.

I was very excited to buy this game, I have been wanting to get it for a while now. I bought the game, launched it, and then dissapointment hit me. You CANNOT play this game splitscreen on PC. You can use other software to play splitscreen, but it's launched offline and you can't access the characters you bought with spools, can't use them... at all. That game is great and all but no spliscreen really killed it for me.
i started playing don't starve back in 2012 when it was a beta to download from your browser, before it was on steam and when the world generation was still just biomes being big circles with long roads between them. it's an incredible game with tons of heart and soul in it, it's incredible that they're still pumping out updates for it to this day for free. Klei manages to put most other game developers to shame with their consistency and quality.
Excellent in terms of encouraging the player to continue trying to survive and explore, but there should be some kind of guide system for tips. Because, after a few hours of playing, you find yourself lost imagining and having to ration what should be done to advance, as the learning curve is really a little short (even more so at the beginning). It's easy to capture exactly all the resources you need to survive in winter, and the cait mechanic isn't difficult to master either.
The game is difficult to get the hang of, but the learning is fun.

2D view in 3D environment game with charming art style. Fun to play with friend or solo. A lot of time is spent learning the game. I advise you don't use Google or YouTube right away and embrace the suck and countless deaths. Steam Workshop has many "quality of life" mods that make game less extreme if that what you desire.
It's just too punishing for me. Played with my partner for a new co-op exp, we have played some other lighter survival crafting games and this one just didn't click.
Many people seem to love this, so we are definitely in the minority, it was just too much hassle with not enough reward for us to push through after really trying to make it work.
Maybe avoid if you are in a similar scenario and aren't in to more punishing 'war of attrition' type survival games.
the true definition of survival this game refuses to tell you what you have to do when you are in the world.the only thing it tells are the 5 important items needed which are on left side of ui and that's it.Overall a pretty hard game
This game is intense, and I find the implicit lore incredibly intriguing. There's a steep learning curve as you start playing, but that makes everything all the more entertaining. The fun doesn't stop once you've gotten the hang of the game, there's enough progression to play for ages before getting through everything, and that's only if you manage to survive.

I love this game so much, it so different from all the other survival games with actual challenge and things to worry about, most game in this genre are the same with no real challenge or anything to worry about, DST has so many mechanics and things to-do that it actually has lots and lots of repeatability and actually changes the way you play the game.I love how they added seasons actually giving you something to worry about and unlike other games like MC and Terraria(which are both good games) actually have challenge in the seasons, instead of being something like a biome or just a visual thing.I really enjoy how they added specific things to-do in a specific biome in a specific time of year like I love how you can't just quickly speed-run the game for things and op items and how you actually have to play the game slowly to get OP loot.I also really LOVE how they added so many bosses with most of them having REALLY great loot and actual fun boss fights and how they are in specific locations or seasons or time of year.This game has so many fun ways to play like the characters you could either be a character who gets resources extremely fast or someone who can beat the living shit out of any bosses or enemies or just be really fucking op(Wanda).This game's art style is so unique from other games with most other games being just some shitty 3D art style or just some blocky mess, the art style remind me a lot of Tim Burton's style and it actually makes this game unique.You can easily tell how much love and care Klei put into the game from the Shorts they have on YT and how they release a update every 1 - 2 months making it more fun since there's more you can do.This game has so many fucking mechanic I could have more words on a Google Doc than the entire bible like this game is so fucking great I would recommend it to lots of people.I just love how this game is also has mods it makes the game even more fun since now you can solve a few QOL things that weren't added or just play a whole new game.And the community is great I have met so many new people from this game and have been friends with them for years most people who play this game are so nice and fun to play with and most of them are pretty good people.I love the lore of this game with them connecting everything together perfectly and how they are STILL adding lore to the characters and world around the Constant(World Name).Like I said earlier this game is SO unique in the survival game genre and yes there are still some absolute BANGERS of survival games out there but this one is so special to me and will always hold a special place in my heart, so uh GO BUY DST NOW.
Don't Starve ruined my life
Idk, maybe a year ago? i stumbled across dont starve after a long time of not playing it on my xbox, i decided to get my friends into it! so we loaded up a new save, and well, everything went to shit.
What the F!#?
We started playing, then winter hit. we started scrambling for resources, it was HELL. food became scarce and we began to argue over resources, save file after save file, we built documents to carefully plan our moves only to die to some new stupid creature that we didnt even know existed!!
2 of my friends commited, one is in an insane asylum, we are yet to reach summer, 10/10 would reccomend. My family died because of DST. Would buy again.
The game constantly changing. You will find any emotions during play this masterpiece :)

Don't starve what can i say an iconic game and now it's multiplayer.
I really like this game. The art style is so unique and the moving camera angles makes the game super unique. I never even made it through a full season, so expect a challenge.
It's very in depth, it has a uniqueness like no other open world survival game. Some similarities to Terraria except it's more mythological instead of supernatural.
One of my childhood games, Game is greatly constructed and created, i'd pay 5X the normal price for this!

Great game to play with friends. Runs great on almost all PCs. make sure to talk and plan things out with your partner because it can get pretty hectic if you don't. I recommend this game if your looking for a fun and engaging two player survival.
I played this with my friends. The game seems difficult at times, but it's also really fun. My favorite thing to do is picking Wormwood and planting so many seeds that my friends start to question my sanity.

After 320h playing it with different world and different tries, i can say that i officialy pass the game (killed the last boss)
