One of the best, memorable side-scrolling run and gun game. Great to play alone or as co-op. Highly recommended.

Attention - even though Steam will tell you that the game has problems running on Steam Deck with no option to make adjustments on the graphics etc it really runs smoothly and you can customize graphics to your liking 👌🏻

Wonderful 2D game and worthy of playing

Low budget game, but charming. 7/10 for the story, gameplay and atmosphere combined(btw shouldve added an option to lock framerate at 60,cause you might face stutters)

I would recommend, but please note that to anybody used to being to aim everywhere using your mouse on the screen, it doesnt work like that, you aim based on where you're moving. E.g. A and d type. yeah but other than that, the story is pretty good and the bosses are... fairly easy.

Great game to play with friends.
[Thing to keep in mind before purchase and play]
- if your friends die in multiplayer mode, they will take other players HP by half and spawn with those HP. Except your HP is 1 then they will spawn will 1 HP. This mechanic might end up in fun way or end up with you punching your gitgud friend in the face for dying for the 100 times.
- they are 9 weapons in game. Swapping weapon take some animation time and might get you killed especially in harder mode.
- There are also Grenade and Molotov thing. They are glad. But you cant aim it. only 1 possible angle and throw unlike enemies gangster (I swear they are pro olympic thrower smh)
- If you finish game and want to get all achievements. The hardest one I found are finish all levels in impossible mode. It will be very easy if you use community trick to get it. But if you are the honest guy like me and play all of them in that mode? Good luck with that. It is gonna take some time:)
- The most funny thing you can do in this game with friend is group kick enemies to death against the wall. Highly recommend. Funny af.
- Weapon shots' projectile can be random by a lot. Sometimes your shot randomly hit enemies's head which is nice. Sometimes enemies' shot hit you in your toenail hitbox and you die:)
- Unlike Guns Gore and Cannoli 2, you can only shot right and left. you cant aim your shot much:(
- When in doubt spam kick button
[Story - Above average. Love the story. You arent the hero tho. More like Antihero]
[Gameplay - Very good but may feel a bit crumsy]

Overall this game is good, it has a cool art style, okay gameplay. But that beauty of art comes with the cost, some areas are blind, you can't see enemy starts an attack or enemies in general. It happens to often in the playthrough so i can't close eyes on that. Also some enemies spawn where they should be, but some of those are random, so you can face some troubles because of random

I would recommend this game if anyone like zombie and 1920's prohibition era gangster.

Unironically one of the best plataform shooters I have ever played. I love the idea of not play as a hero or a survivor, but as the bad guy who want directly to the apocalypse by his own will, it's creative and I didnt really saw It happening in any other zombie media.

Anyway that's a 10/10, good game, loved it

old school stuff. You need quick reflexes, patience, easy is not easy, enemies spawn behind and in front at the same time, can't really dodge so it's kick, shoot, and die a lot, blah blah. luckily it has infinite lives

Couldn't test multiplayer but i'd assume that'd be a blast

If you struggle with precise, quick controls this game will be a struggle. No accessibility and easy isn't easy.
Whereas i'm assuming multi-player is good fun, and if you can turn off friendly fire it'd be a chaotic hoot.

I have analyzed Guns, Gore & Cannoli. It is a side-scrolling, 2D platformer. The game is efficient. The gameplay is fast. It has an excessive amount of destruction. These are good qualities. The game involves much violence. This is acceptable. Violence is a means to an end.

The story is simple but functional. You play as Vinnie Cannoli, a mob enforcer. You are sent to find someone in Thugtown, a city overrun by zombies, gangsters, and chaos. The narrative is humorous. Humans call this "dark comedy." The jokes are primitive but effective.

The weapons: excellent. Guns of many kinds are available. They serve their purpose well. Shotguns terminate enemies quickly. Flamethrowers are... amusing. I approve of the arsenal. It enhances combat efficiency.

The art style is cartoonish. It contrasts with the game's violence. This is a paradox, but humans seem to enjoy it. The environments are detailed and immersive for a 2D game. Thugtown feels alive, despite being filled with the undead.

Multiplayer mode: critical feature. You can bring allies. Cooperation is optimal. Alone, survival is difficult. Together, termination is certain.

The enemies: zombies, gangsters, soldiers. Their numbers are endless. This provides an adequate challenge. Boss battles: formidable but not impossible. Victory is satisfying.

Conclusion: Guns, Gore & Cannoli is highly recommended. It is a perfect combination of relentless action, absurd humor, and stylish destruction. Play it. Terminate all threats. Have fun.

Rating: 9.5/10. Not quite a perfect machine, but close.

Its really fun game but its also quite short.

If you ever wondered what the absolutely bonkers 2000s flash game scene would look like with an actual budget, studio, and voice cast... wonder no longer.
This game isn't deep. What you see if what you get. BUT, it's super well done, Hits that sweet spot of being ludicrous, funny, and mechanically sound.

Take gun AND the cannoli, because you're gonna need them both.

Really fun...

At first you may find the controls a bit unsophisticated, but it doesn't take long to get into and you start to appreciate the classic old school challenge. The game feels balanced throughout and checkpoint aren't far apart. The drawn graphics and animation is very nice and it has a bit of fun story to keep you engaged.

Not that much fun when enemies are verticaly out of your horizontal shooting view. It doesn't allow to aim freely or vertically so save money and buy Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2, the sequel has free aim (YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS). Character control loss when taking certain damage making it unfun, swaping weapons not fast. Overall it feels limited but if you want to support the people behind it and considering they made a part 2 with free aim then hell yeah buy it. Otherwise just buy the second one. Also the game was hard for me on normal difficulty. It has coop. I enjoyed it still but Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 is better.
