Graviteam Tactics: Mius-Front

From the platoon level to brigade this game never ceases to bore anyone who has a niche for realistic military strategy simulators. I'd give it a try if you've played combat mission or unfamiliar with this genre. Although the UI is hard to understand at first it's completely rewarding if you master all of them, would 100% would pay for a modern DLC that contains modern European/Balkan or South east asian campaign.

An absolute hidden gem of a "game" It's hands down the best ww2 simulator i've ever played. There is nothing like planning out an attack and watching it unfold in real time. graviteam captures the complete bleakness of the Ostfront. Or like watching a signal troop dragging wire through absolute chaos, or watching on as tanks squeal towards your troops who can't stop them because your Pak guns can't penetrate the armor. If you can get past the archaic control/UI there is a staggering amount of depth here.

Your tanks will struggle to see anything, your men will get scared of dying and retreat, you will set up the perfect offence/defence just to get flattened by artillery, and you will love every second of it. This is probably the most realistic WW2 RTS game out there, more of a simulation to be honest. It goes as far as troops using captured weapons, in depth armour modelling for vehicles, and even a communication system for your orders to be disseminated to troops. It's hard to get into, but once you do, it's amazing.

version ,i know they have some DLCs but full new game from them in modern warfare with drones etc will have my money ...

Hi, I’m a huge fan of ww2 authentic games and so far I thought gates of hell was the epitomy of them all, UNTIL I bought mius front bout 2 weeks ago, having it missed due to my reallocation on a different country.
I am afraid there are no words to describe the feeling of playing this extraordinary game. Once you have some free time and commit to that you just loose track of time planning and actually executing your strategy. Not One game so far manages to depict the reality of a battle in such a Realistic way… for example I found myself following my 4 panzers as they were striving to move uphill on a raining day struggling to cope with mud, sliding left and right with my infantry following up close each one individually acting its own movement from running to crawling to firing to finding cover … and all that amidst artillery and machine gun barrages , tanks having no silly health bar but realistic ballistic , armor penetration values and mechanical break downs and finally manage to capture that hill giving you a leverage against enemy troops down the side slope. My God those guys must have been ex military or something ( I’ve been in the army for 2 years) to have grasp the agony of war so splendidly and surely they have put thousands of hours into making everything so close to reality !!!!!!
Guys congratulations on your amazing effort, please give us a number 2 front with maybe manor lords graphics and better unit control and rest assured it will be the game Every ww2 future game will be compared with !!!! Thank you all for your Great effort …

This isn't a game, it's a simulator. Lets start off with the very few cons this game has. First, the UI is terrible, full stop. The UI is so bad, and it contributes greatly to the very steep learning curve this game has. Which, by the way, I'm 13 hours in, and I still only kind of know what I'm doing. It will take probably a couple of weeks of fiddling around to get what's truly going on. Now, that's the bad, lets get to the good.

This is the most detailed, by far the most detailed, eastern front simulator I have ever come across. This armor system puts war thunder to shame. War thunders penetration calculator is childsplay. Each tank is modeled accurately, and looks pretty decent. The infantry combat is super realistic. They panic when they are surpressed, will surrender, they will cower in foxholes. Not every order you give is going to be carried out accurately if the comms are closed. Infantry throw grenades, clear houses, etc etc. There is a command structure, so platoon commanders give orders to sergeants, and the sergeants pass down those orders. Not everyone has a radio, so infantry can be seperated from their comrades. There is so much more, but just trust me, if you are an eastern front nerd, this game is for you.

The best operational/tactical wargame on the market. The interface is intuitive, the enemy AI is actually good, tons of good DLC and it's cheap and always on sale.

Damn.. mius vs tank warfare.. hard to say but this has more dlcs. great order and sit back and take it in kind of game. probably the only true command sim. best not to micromanage tho. lol think steel division but way slower and annoying ui, however the damage to vehicles and terrain deformation is second to none! can u not occupy buildings tho?

Lol no windowed mode + no way to change the resolution, devs are kinda crazy

After getting all 4 modern DLC's and spended 4 hours on skimrish playing on SADF side agaisnt Iraw and lost due to last guy with RPG in trench, recommend💯

One of the most realistic World War Two games available. I have just scratched the surface, and I look forward to playing it for a long time. I really hope they release more scenarios for later 1943 - 1944. I'll post a more detailed review after I've played it some more, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's interested in WW2 on the Eastern Front...

Always enjoy seeing my troops I've spent hours deploying vaporised in less than five minutes by rocket artillery. 10/10

The most impressive, realistic and historically accurate RTS game I have ever played. It is on a whole other level compared to Company of Heroes or Men of War. I am able to live out my dream of playing an RTS game similar to old Soviet war films like Liberation. I will admit not everyone might find this as fun as a game more arcadey like COH2 but I can assure you that your jaw will drop at the realism. Its the kind of game that is fun even when you lose and you will have many memorable moments playing it and learn alot about historical events and unit structure.

I would like to see multiplayer implemented eventually where the game runs in real time unless both players choose to speed up time or pause it. I realise this is not a priority and not the purpose of the game, but nonetheless it is something that this game could benefit from.

Best strategy war game I have ever played! I would highly recommend this for anyone that likes to play WWII games without having to have to micro manage every small detail,

Interesting game, not for me though, I thought it was a good simulation of a battlefront but it's also a bit complicated for my pea brain.

If you're into WW2-era War Strategy games like Steel Division 2, this game is for you. But be warned it's not easy.

One of the best real-time strategy ww2 games. Requieres a lot of dedication to learn all mechanics, however I doubt there any other title out there which shows have the german and russian engagements actually looked like.

As a Combat Mission and WWIIOnline Fan - this game rises to my #1

If you're patient enough to learn the controls/UI you will discover one of the most interesting WW2 sims available.

Very fun to play or watch you give the strategy and watch the war unfold

I genuinely have no idea what I'm doing when I'm playing the game, and the tutorial is as useful as a toothpick when you got no teeth.

However, I still find myself repeatedly playing this game and buying the DLC's, because the scale and and strategic mindset involved is so incredibly cool. Battlefields change during the span of a campaign, old debris and craters remain, units capture equipment and use it against the enemy... everything is just so good in the details here.

Easiest thing to do is to find a campaign where you get to defend. You just set up your men and watch the battle play out, which can be very entertaining to watch.

Definitely a recommend for any die hard strategists out there, this one is a must have (+the Tunisia variant).

Awesome game! It has a steep learning curve, but well worth it.

I can't even tell my tank to shoot at someone without giving him 40 commands. 10/10 bring a manual

This game is absolutely amazing and almost everything I want in a World War 2 simulator. I wish the campaign was more like Hearts of Iron but when you're in a battle you get to take direct control of your forces like you do in this. That being said it is absolutely worth the full price and getting all the DLC's. I really hope you guys continue making more DLC's that focus on Romanian, Hungarian, Italian, Estonian, and the Polish Army in 1939. This games greatest strengths is giving you a glimpse into the areas of the war that are often overlooked such as the Croatian Army I will never stop singing that DLC's praises. For those of you that are wary about buying something with a a bit of a learning curve I'll tell you it is more than worth it. Get the Croatian DLC it lets you start out small operating at the company and battalion level once you've figured that out you'll get the rest in no time at all. Anyways keep up the amazing work guys really hope you make us a 1939 Poland DLC and Romanian DLC I and many others will happily buy that in a heartbeat.
