- Every other Black Ops game is leagues above BO3, making this look like a crappy mobile shooter.
- Terrible voice acting and a story so detached from the Black Ops story it's just a pointless, crappy version of Advanced Warfare.

Game is amazing, runs so smooth for me, even at 60 fps or even near 200 fps. The fact that zombie chronicles is also with the game makes it even better without having to buy a insane amount of money for like all the maps you only need to pay 60$ for 8 free maps and even modded maps. Which makes the experience better, the only thing bad is that sometimes to activate online sometimes is buggy or when trying to join a friend but its not insanely bad. Is it worth it? yes indeed it is, do i recommend it? yes!

game is totally worth the price for cod zombies alone, however you should wait for a sale and get the zombies chronicle edition.
Not a big fan of the campain mode but the zombies co op mode on this game has a lot to offer. Custom maps and split screen support.

upon purchasing i already experienced a issue where the game would not load and would instead force me on a black screen and then crash
Tried for three hours to get the game to launch on a modern system, turns out the game has had the very problem i encountered for many years prior; it continued to spit out an error saying "Steam needs to be running in order to play this game". Absolute dog water that a game will simply refuse to run due to not being installed on the same drive as Steam itself.
Doesn't help that the game itself is damned security risk with online right now.
Amazing game but don't play this on PC without a mod client unless you are willing to risk everything on your PC being compromised through RCE/RAT exploits.
Not sure how a PC port from 2015 is incapable of functioning on a modern PC but here we are.
Can't recommend a game that is a security risk. Don't see why Activision can't dedicate a small team to working on this game and fixing the major issues.

Base black ops 3 was already a phenomenal game but adding in the supported workshop and mods? PHENOMENAL game especially if you like zombies there so much to get and play i cant recommend it enough... but not for 60$ wait till its on sale :)
Peak zombies. Mods enhance the experience to whatever the player desires. From custom maps, weapons, and complete progression overhauls: this is easily the best zombies experience to date. Other than zombies, MP has passed its peak and if you're considering buying, it should be for private matches only, across all modes.
Although I wouldn't recommend throwing a full $60, this is one of the fewer old CoD games that actually seems worth it regardless of price.
Huge shout out to the Ultimate Experience Mod for rejuvenating my love for zombies by tenfold.

Great game, still holds up today, in my opinion and I believe it's probably one of the Black Ops games of all of time, this is mostly because the game has tons of content, fun game-play and gun-play, crazy movement and a massive modding community. Only downsides are that the game costs 60$ in 2025 for a game released about 10 years ago and of course playing online is quite dangerous or tedious: people could crash your game, crash entire lobbies or just ruin the experience with cheats if your playing multiplayer. However a good workaround is using the t7 patch which fixes the insecurity in this game, mostly...

Great zombies, love zets and gorod, other non chronicle maps pretty good(except rev way too boring and easy imo) although really unoriginal in the way the maps are built for soe and de not really having much of their real own ideas other than the addition of boss fights but de is great for newer players and soe has some pretty fun hrs especially in coop due to its well designed, unoriginal, simple layout too bad afterlife is way better than beast mode and chronicles and customs are great additions to this game, and customs are the main reason people still talk about this game today, gums aren't bad additions but i feel some are way too op, and because of the gum save its almost impossible to play an unmodded game where people aren't constantly closing the game unless they got 999 of every one, but i love using them for things they were intended for like ee's or really high rounds theres a lot more i could say but ill keep it shorter, moral of the story great game, peak funding was goated in zombies with things like the gorod pap cutscene and I think you should probably pick up as your first game if you dont mind some complexity and being able to down with jugg way too fast, but I could see people also doing bo1 as their first game for a more balanced traditional style, and although I love both two games a lot(especially bo4 internet hot take ;skull;) bo2 and bo4 may not be the best for a first time experience especially if you're not buying dlc and not wanting to use battlenet.
Insanely fun zombies is great campagin is really good but short it beat it in 18 hours lol otherwize would recommend
blackops 3 zombies is the pinnacle , it all ended here really as far as the aether story line is concerned. cant recommend enough, the replay ability is class thanks to steam workshop

Such a good game, but i would not recommend the multiplayer, i didnt realise this game didnt have an inti cheat and i got hacked, i factory reset my pc and that seemed to fix it, the multiplayer is ass, but the zombies is so god damn fun i love it i would recommend if you want a good zombies i did also get this on sale for 30 dollars which is worth it for all the mods that are available. also, DONT PLAY THE CAMPAIGN ITS SO BAD
It's a very fun game especially with the modding community there are maps and mods for all types of players
Pretty good as far as zombies are concerned. This is the only Call of Duty besides WaW to allow custom zombie maps and there are some bangers. Highly recommend if you're not wanting to buy bo6
Brought the game back in about 2022 and had fun with the Zombies mode with friends back then which is all I really cared about, since then however the game has become absolutely unplayable.
After downloading the game I had to deal with multiple crashes on startup, that could only be fixed by disabling any audio software I use that has never caused any issues with any other game or program I've used, both old and new.
After that I had to deal with a constant stuttering that would freeze the game every 2-3 seconds regardless of where I was in the game, or what my graphical/screen settings were, with the only two fixes I could find online being either to boot the game completely offline, meaning I just straight up couldn't play it with friends again, or use a community patch to fix the issues, after applying one of the fixes and loading into a basic zombies map, being Kino Der Toten, then pausing to adjust some gameplay settings, my entire pc hard froze, forcing to obviously reset my pc to continue to do anything with it.
These issues seem to stem from an update made back in 2023 that Activision/Treyarch pushed out that has not been fixed, with seemingly complete radio silence from both teams on ever making the game playable for the average consumer ever again, with the only action being taken is removing the Multiplayer tag from their official tags to shake off any responsibility they may have to take for the state that they have left their previous games in.

Ngl this game is really good. Multiplayer is in a bad state due to some cheaters just play zombies. There are a lot of steam workshop items for you to choose from. If you buy this game have fun.
This has the best and most fleshed out mod scene of any video game I have ever played on steam. The amount of free fan-made content for this game's zombie mode is insanely large. If you want to play Call of Duty Zombies, play Black Ops 3.
Probably one of the most goated COD Zombies games out there. If you haven't given it a try yet you are greatly missing out. Between the base game and all of the workshop support this game has, it definitely makes for an absolute blast alone or even with friends.
9/10 would greatly recommend.

I love this game! Do you want a great introduction to the zombies mode? Get this game. It gives you most of the zombie maps up to this point and comes with great visuals! The best part to this game is the workshop being activated for it. It's the only cod game that has this feature making it the best game for anyone wanting to make or play community content.
Online-only buggy hacker exploited shit game. I can't even play the singleplayer campaign without constant crashes in offline mode. The most frustrating thing is that the developers does'nt give a damn about it. Yes, there's a community patch, but it's not working with the SP campaign. Don't buy it, don't support these greedy bastards.
Good multiplayer, good zombies (and the mods make it even better) like cheese cube, plus the games has so much nostalgia like doing sniper 1v1s with the boys, or trying to do an easter egg with the boys as well and tbh this was the second to last good cod game 9/10

Literally unplayable without risking other people being able to run exectueables on your computer! Even with third party software running to try and fix this! how is this game even on steam still it is literally unplayable!
