last great zombies before they fucked up the formula and added shitty health bars and hit points along with pickups and shit that wasn't asked for
it was a good game until it broke and ive tried every bug fix and it hasnt worked it just keeps closing down

Black Ops III despite releasing in 2015, still holds a lot of repayable content even without the Multiplayer mode online, both Zombies and the Campaign modes hold a lot of value that makes Black Ops III live on as a must-play game
Campaign with its futuristic style combat going on different mission and environment with robots and human to pass through is a thriller and a must-play mode, Zombies is easily fill with content from both official and fan made maps to hop on to

They did a update while back which makes the game very choppy. Do not buy this game till they fix it which we know they wont
I used to play this game on PS4, but now if you are like me, who likes zombies and all kinds of zombie custom maps, you should consider buying it only because of that reason alone.
Hard to play with friends and dangerous to play online but this game's zombies experience is why I spent two of my summers indoors. Nostalgia taints it yes but it still is an amazing and must play entry in call of duty zombies and great way to get newer fans to enjoy older maps and mechanics. With remastered maps like call of the dead and now Mob of the dead on steam workshop this truly is worth picking up for one mode alone.
Game runs terribly on modern hardware. Ryzen 5800X3D and a 3080, on a 10 year old game, 45 fps max. The only way this game can run better is with a community patch. The game should not be in this state in the first place.

For any fan of the old school Call of Duty experience, Black Ops 3 serves as the peak of Treyarch's capabilities using the old engine. Personally, Call of Duty titles made with the engine after Black Ops 4 havent done it for me. Treyarch had a slightly cartoonish art style and ever since COVID that has disappeared and now the identity has been lost. Black Ops 3 and (by extension 4) was the best title that all of the great things were going perfectly. I'm mainly a zombies fan, but I played my fair share of multiplayer too, achieving dark matter camo and everything.
I will add that the fact this game is very infrequently on sale is a major problem, as about 2 years ago, an update broke the game and added an bug where FPS will hiccup every 3-4 seconds. There are fixes for this online, but for a game to be sold still at full price despite having a game-wide issue that will not be fixed is insane.
In conclusion, GREAT GAME, but DO NOT BUY UNLESS ON SALE!

T7 Patch:
Download(you can find just by googling T7 patch and going to the github)
Extract, run the patch file located near the bottom of the folder
Enter and unaffiliated name. Highly recommend to make a network password and check friends restriction box
Keep this file running in the background, and then run Black Ops 3 as you normally would
It should say that it is running community patch in the actual Black Ops 3 menu. If the main menu shows your new username, you did everything right and should be safe.
As always its going to be the absolute safest to run with a VPN. I hope this makes it seem less intimidating to enjoy a classic zombie experience without compromising your machine :)
This is one of the best Call of Duty games I’ve played, perhaps even the best in terms of the Zombies mode. The original maps are incredible, like Shadows of Evil, which is visually stunning with a well-developed story and plenty of easter eggs. I’ve been playing Black Ops 3 since the PS3 era, so when I switched to PC, I rediscovered the game and its DLCs.
One major positive point, on top of that, is the custom Zombies maps, which keep the game alive even after all these years. There is still a massive community surrounding the Zombies mode.
For me, the only two negative points about this game are the multiplayer and the campaign. In general, I’m not a fan of the futuristic theme, and it was disappointing here. However, as I mainly play Zombies and not multiplayer, the game is perfect for me.

its is a great game made by activision, ive played call of duty games for a long while and i will always enjoy black ops 3, u can mod it and play all kinds of fun maps and more, if ur looking for a cod that u can enjoy this would be a good pick
its an amazing game play it and love it the workshop mods make it 1000x better though being able to make random stuff be in your game is amazing.
multiplayer and campaign is pretty ass but the zombies and custom maps save it plus the campaign is co-op so it might be fun for a little bit
Man i rlly rly love this game and love to recommend this game that makes me suffer through the most unbearable campaign experience ever for 100% completion 30 times over with an untouchable stranded multiplayer unsupervised as they still sell this game for a high price with terrible workshop integration that can also get you compromised while this whole game is unsafe to play without third party tools and i die for the thirtieth time on my high round attempt because the game randomly decided to slowly alter my mouse sense or microstutter for the 2 billionth time or i get rocketed 50 feet in the air and instant game overd as a little girl laughs at me and their is egregious monetisation smeared all over it leaving a stain that is the only way to get pack a punch in 3 of the maps and it went out with a lackluster dlc 4 and the main menu UI literally run at 3 fps and will never be fixed wow activision and treyarch you did everything right with this game why cant we go back to making masterpieces like this game again that are so good i suffer to play the 1 good 3rd of them
from playing this all the time on console to playing it on PC is a big difference , i didn't think the game could get any better but custom zombies could be a 10/10 on its own , without it its still a 10/10 for zombies Only, lets not bring the campaign or multiplayer into it but thank you map creators for keeping the game alive.

As someone who only played the waw and bo2 zombies mode until recently, I can safely this is THE DEFINITIVE ZOMBIES EXPERIENCE.
i def recommend while on sale!!! just the amount of workshop maps for zombies is insane and justifies the purchase.
The definitive cod zombies experience. Has the best maps, best gameplay, and best environments. It already had the best zombies out of all the the games after the season pass maps were released. Then Zombies Chronicles came out and made this game even greater by giving us remakes of iconic maps from past games. What makes this game truly special is the community made custom maps which make this game infinitely replayable as new high-quality maps are still being released to this day. This game is the peak of cod zombies.
I paid 70 bucks just to not be able to play the zombies mode with my friends because of constant "Lobby not joinable" errors
This is the perfect outlet for the zombie community. I didn't enjoy anything else about the game though which sucks, but the zombies and the community out shine the rest of the game. I highly recommend this if you enjoyed playing any of the old zombie gamemodes on the old Black Ops.
Best zombies gameplay to this day
If you like COD Zombies, this is arguably the best bang for your buck, having the most maps by far. The system is all-around the best in the series, and while every Zombies mode has its issues and things that could be improved, I'd say this game has the least. Buy it on sale though, do not buy a decade-old COD full price.
zombies is till fun the dlc is worth it
My favorite Call of Duty--Everything's great and perfect except transactions and toolboxes. Aside from that, poor management and upkeep has left Black Ops 3 in a broken state, which is devastating to see. It was truly one of the best CoDs to exist, and objectively had the best zombies.

The story is dog water and the online has been broken for years, literally the only reason to play this game is for the best zombies experience. There is no way that this game should cost the best part of £100.
I love this game, the multiplayer it’s funny, the movement is dynamic, the campaign I’ve never played it, but I know that campaign is fine thought not have continuation to Bo 1 n 2, zombies are the best mode and the best zombies that I will never played again, I love that, gubblegums, perks , weapons, liquid divinum, maps, all of that things are god, best game and GOTY

Best steam deck compatible call of duty
I've tried to play alot of the other titles and this one I'll give a 10/10 for the cod franchise, it has it all great guns, those old either /dark matter camos, (whatever u call them) and if the Game doesn't have what you want, go to the workshop and subscribe to some mods. you can get all types of perks, goble gums, guns, pack-a-punch u name it, they even have mods/subscriptions (all you gotta do is go to the workshop and subscribe and it'll download, if not go in the properties of the game) they even have their own maps fan made but some are crazy good. Also different guns not in game. Buy it full price buy it on sale the mods are free!! ALL YOU NEED IS SOME SPACE! Countless hrs of replayable fun. you can even change the game so it runs like mw3, or bo2 ect.(LOOK FOR THE MOD) I've had alot of fun just soloing maps.
The mods I use are zombie specific, not ment for multi-player. multi-player is still alive but u got hackerz if you don't have a group it's not fun, but the zombie experience is, the best of the entire series bc of its content in my opinion, past and present. (bo6 just dropped and it's horrible unfortunately, I was hoping a throwback to this game but no, sk this game takes the cake, mostly because you can ot play bo6 without an internet connection, like at all. So disappointed in the franchise... how did you turn a console game into cod mobile?!? And you still can't make it run on anything other than windows. )
