this game is the worst game i've ever played in my entire existence, might not have been around that long but i've been around long enough to know how ass this game is and that alone is ass.

Zombies is really good in this game 10/10. Multiplayer is ok and is something else to do. Campaign is kinda doo doo but whatever. This game probably has the best cod zombie experience out there.

Really fun game even a decade later! Zombies carries it mainly, but the multiplayer is also pretty chill. Campaign I didn't like as much, but I'm mainly a zombies guy. Would recommend, even for custom maps if you don't want to play the base ones.

i havent touched this game in a while and its saying i didnt close it properly and wont let me play it anymore. it keeps crashing on launch and denying me access to the game. activision fix your stuff now

Last great Call of Duty game, in my opinion. I first bought it on Xbox 360 at release, then xbox one. Always wanted the modded zombies, it's outstanding

I REALLY want to give this game a good review but theres just a bug at random times where the game just wont work anymore and you cant open the menu so i cant recomend buying this game unless your willing to gamble with the ability to never be able to launch the game again

Best CoD Zombies by far, 14 maps and endless content with mods. A lot of fun to be had with this game.

Id rate this game when in term of fun 10/10. But for story mode, probably 6/10 because it doesnt have any connection/relation with previous black ops series but its still fun regardless. Zombies, 10/10 as well but they are separate from main game so you should get the DLC as its packed/bundled with previous black ops zombies series.

The reason why i called this game "fun" because you are free to mods everything inside in this game. You can play, modify, create and customize the way you want to be. Thanks for the workshop feature but keep in mind that achievements / xp will be disabled when turning on mods. Overall, you should get this game even if you were late to party. By the time this review was made in 2025, the game is still hella fun and you can customize everything you want to be inside of Black Ops 3.

I mainly got this game for the zombies mode and trust me it did not disappoint. The maps, wonder weapons, and the gobble gun system were amazing. But sadly this gets dragged down by the sad state the game is rn with hackers running rampant, often booting you out of matches to even trying to ddos you for simply playing the funny zombies mode.
Goated game that was left to rot sadly, at least I got to experience a bit of it

Bo3 was one of the games I used to play when I was younger. If your a fan of round-based games, I would definitely suggest Bo3, along with world at war, Bo1, Bo2, Bo4, cold war, and Bo6.

Aside from the clear problems it has without external help, good game. Wish it still had dev support however.

For the Zombies alone, this game is absolutely worth it. I've played Zombies since Kino on Bo1, and this is my favorite Zombies game because of all that is available for this game. The DLC maps are great, and offer countless hours of high rounding, easter egg runs, and fun. The Chronicles maps are classic, and are also all great. The leveling system is in my opinion the best that Zombies has ever had as well. All of this isn't even mentioning custom zombies, which provides players with virtually unlimited maps to play. I've owned Bo3 since launch on Xbox one, but had to rebuy it on PC. This game is absolutely worth the purchase though, and I still wish that Treyarch would make a Zombies only game with the classic systems in place.

Campaign is alright, it's like they got someone that didn't quite understand ghost in the shell to write their own version for moron american teenagers.

Gotta install a patch just so you don't get hacked while playing, and zombies is a convoluted mess. overwhelming the zombies with tons of abilities, weapons, and random shit. first time playing, loaded into a map, had no clue what was going on, everyone was doing stuff without me, and i just felt out of place. don't plan on playing ever again

The servers are down. Multiplayer is unplayable. No reason to get this other than Zombies

This is my favorite game & my favorite CoD of all time. I have played competitively on console for over 5k hours and if I could play another 5000 — I would in a heartbeat. Late night GBs & wagers with my friends is a 10/10 experience that I often look back on.

The only downside was the ddos’ing issue when playing competitive, but I’d reset my router 1000 times before playing the new COD games we have today.

Hands down the best COD zombies experience. Modded maps are absolutely amazing and not to mention that the maps released with the game + DLCs are incredible and the story line + easter eggs is so goooood.

The game itself is amazing with the default map being shadows of evil which in my opinion is amazing!

don't get me wrong this game is really good and the story is great and zombies is great but I finally came back to this game after years of not playing it so I had a nostalgic kick to want to play zombies again just to find out that they completely abandoned the game to the point that they don't even do hot fixes and apparently there's a problem with the game where the game will start in a black screen and you won't be able to play it and the only solution is to uninstall a sound mixer called voice meter banana and since I use that all the time I'm not getting rid of it just to play one single game the fact that an entire game can be bricked because of a sound mixer is ridiculously stupid who the hell coded and programmed this game

b03 zombie's in general are in my opinion weak!. but custom maps! and chronicles make this super fun! , i dont like the guns and i think waw . bo1 and bo2 are superior , bo3 still has amazing qualities!. 7/10

To this day, chronicles + built in mod support is THE DEFINITIVE modern zombies experience

The greatest era for call of duty zombies was black ops 3, The others did a great job however to this day nothing tops black ops 3. The best part of zombie experience was how different every map played and the unique weapons the maps had. The easter eggs where unique and challenging and told an amazing story that literally brought millions of players together.

IMO worth buying even today and playing solo offline,

I'll say this, the only reason why I'm giving this a negative review is because of what happened to this game and it's lack of security, If you're a singleplayer guy and want to experience the workshop content, play this game offline. Want to play with others? use t7patch. Activision doesn't want to support this game? Want us to play their ass Warzone and all? Vote with your time and money, they took down the BOIII client and they choose to not support this game, and now the servers are sold to China, so, this game is super unsafe to play stock. I hate Activision for having official tools but they choose to let this game rot just for Warzone.

fantastic zombies with endless mods that are especially fun with friends, but online multiplayer is not considered safe to play online. i'd only pick it up when its on sale for $20

This game is the best of all the COD tittles.

2. Playable offline (With certain mods you can play mp with bots too)

This is by far the best COD for zombies. Especially if you play on PC, beacuse of mod tools. The fact that there's thousands of custom zombies maps and mods for this game, make it the best by default. There's so many cutsom maps that are just out of this world. I'd say some are even Treyarch-level maps.

The best cod zombies to play especially with custom maps. I recommend playing the game using the T7 Patch or the BO3Enhanced patch.

Game is full of hackers and is unplayable without proper protection. Besides that it's still Black Ops 3.

zombies are the best ever made hands down! the rest is just ok but not even playable any more and the micro transactions are a joke. do not spend money on those but zombies is where this game is amazing and worth it. get the zombie chronicles too and you can play this for hours. just do not buy any extras other than that.

Best Zombies port By far. If you want a good zombies game where you can find tons of maps to play.

The custom Zombies maps are free and fun. The Steam version comes with Zombies Chronicles by default. This is definitely the best version of the game.

Still one of the most consistent and enjoyable zombie experiences. With a plethora of official maps, there is quite a bit of content to sink your teeth into without even taking into account all the custom/modded maps and content the community has been building for years. All around one of the most complete packages for a zombies experience today (since that's what most people would be buying this title for years after release).
