Its fun if you can get a party together because its dead. Its fast paced, hectic and a good laugh. There's lots of interesting weapons and different ways to use them with the 3 abilities (Deflect, Re-direct and Freeze projectiles).
If you want to play alone then this isn't for you, but if you can get a group together, its a good laugh for a couple of hours.
Killed Fun
I was a little hesistant to make this review since I thought, "Eh, no one's going to get this game, everything that needs to be said has been said about this". But then someone I knew bought this game, and then I completely changed my mind.
Kill Fun Yeah!
It was around 2012 when I first heard those three words used in that conjunction. 2012, when Fortnite was Minecraft and the world ended. I was a wee lad, ever optimistic, and fell in love with a YouTube channel named "Thunderhumor" for their animation and Swedish humor. They made videos that have quotes practically made every five seconds. It was so absurd and uplifting. Any update they made, I'd TAKE IT and LOVE IT.
Then Walter, one of the animators of the channel, helped make a game. Thunderhumor posted a humorous trailer for the game, advertising it while also flaunting their animation style about.
As such, being a kid, the first thing I thought was, "Alright! Sounds cool!"
Second thing I thought was, "How am I going to buy this?" Because I was a kid without a credit card, y'know.
Fast forward to June 1st 2014. Three years after setting up my account, I look at the Steam Store, then I suddenly remember Kill Fun Yeah, and how fun it looked, and how amazing it would be to play after all this time, after all these years, finally, a game made with the help of one of my favorite YouTubers! That would never be a mistake!
Turns out...
The game was good!
Y'know.
When there were people playing.
People weren't playing Kill Fun Yeah anymore. Surprise to me. How could this happen? What DID happen? I didn't have the answers, and I doubt I ever will, but one thing was for certain. This old game was practically abandoned. Three or four people at a time were playing it at most, and the people playing were playing across the entire world practically. I was in denial for quite a long time before I finally put the game down and said, "Okay, no. I'm not doing this."
It's far too late for me to get a refund for this game. As much as I'd love to support Thunderhumor, their projects, and play fun games, this is just not the way to do it. If there's ANYONE out there who still wants to play this game, just play something else. I've criticized games like Stick Fight: The Game for having a choppy online experience, but this game practically has NO online experience. Or...any experience, since there's really only the dead online to try out or the local game, but there's still no one I know who ever touched this game even.
Imagine Splatoon, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, etc., any multiplayer game you can think of, except completely deserted. No online. No community. Nothing. That's what Kill Fun Yeah is. Don't buy this game, please. Most reviewers use their personal experience to justify whether or not a purchase is worth your time, but in this case, I implore you from my lack of an experience AT ALL. Don't buy this game. Not as a joke to gift to your friends, not to have fun, not to support Thunderhumor. Third option, go to their YouTube channel instead or something to donate, I don't know.
Just do not buy this game.
I was a fool to buy this game, don't be like me. Not exactly bad game per say, but NO-ONE is online. I only saw ONE person my entire time playing.
It's fun the first couple of maybe 2 hours. Then it gets stale, repetetive and non-enjoyable. There is no multiplayer cause no one is ever online and the cutomization is hard to use and doesn't save the game from it's flaws. I wish I didn't play this for 6 hours so I could refund it

I like the game. Its the most fun game i found, I would play more if there were more players to play with.
The game is abandoned and what i think is if the developers were to work on the game to add more stuff. Maybe we can play once again.
And im sure alot of people are just like me, They love the game. But no one is playing it.
If we can get alot of people to play. Then we can bring the game back maybe, Maybe. Maybe not..
But its up to the developers.

This game is multiplayer only, and for the past year, nobody has been online. That means buying this game is 100% a waste of money. Don't buy it.
A really great game the only thing that is required is more players, So ignore the mixed reviews and buy it!!! :D

People don't play on the servers much; but if you get your friends together, you can have a party!
It just got updated where you can play singleplayer as well as multiplayer!
I bought this thinking there would be a large community all ready playing it. I was so worng. It took forever to even join a game and when I did there were two players for a 10 player map.
The game idea is great but its just not worth it if you expect this to be a large community.
Also after buying the game I only got 1 hour of actually play time before I had to pay agian so because of this its a negative review.
Just don't buy this game.
it is a great multiplayer game with diffrent items, powerups, and grenades. there are online leaderboards an you can also customize your character and make you own maps, which can then be played by hosting a game with no downloads!
But most importantly, there are HATS!! LOADS OF HATS UNLOCKABLE WITH ACHEVEMENTS!!! ITS ALL ABOUT THE HATS!!!!!!11!!!!!!!!1!!1!!!!!!!

This game sucks fucking wee wee breff. It doesn't even work. Connection always fails and it just fucking sucks. Don't buy this garbage of a game.
KillFunYeah is an action filled 2D shooter with great personality and fast paced gameplay. The game was created by the extremly talented YouTube channel thunderhumor ( https://www.youtube.com/user/ThunderHumor ). Speaking of youtubers if you read this review and want to help this game frow just comment on some big Youtubers channel (for example: PewDiePie, tobuscus or markiplier). In the game you have control over three abilities attract,deflect and freeze. Atract frant you the ability to make a kind of "homing" projektile wich you can launch at enemies. Deflect grants you a shielt that fires the ensmies bullet back at them with double damage. And freeze freezes your bullet so you can launch them when for example a enemy approaches (I'll make a KFY guide when i have some free time). The only bad thing i can find with this game is that Ther's no tutorial whatsoever so it's hard to learn and there's still not a lot of people playing.
This is very disappointing...
Not the game by itself, I still remember it from when it was free to play and not on Steam.
I love the gameplay, which is not just a simple shoot and hit, but adds a lot of in-depth mechanics, changing your own and enemy bullets mid air, developing tactics when doing so, playing mind tricks with your enemy etc.
I was really happy when I saw the game on Steam and shortly afterwards instantly decided to buy it.
But one question - what's the most important thing to have in a shooter? Having enemies - And that's the point, this game is empty, if you are lucky, you find 3 people playing, but most of the time you'll just log in and see empty servers, all of them.
Don't pick this game up unless that changed - by either making it was cheaper on Steam or turning in Free to play - or if you get it together with a few friends, it's probably my most favorite game to play with pals.
Believe me, this game is awesome, if people would just be playing it...

Super fun game. I've played this game since the beta and it has always been fun. Reflecting and stopping things in mid air is what it makes it so fun. It's not a normal point and click game. Very very fun.
FUCK THIS GAME first i buy and thinking i would love it. then i get on and it ask me to sighn up so i do then its sais that it sent a confirmation email so i go on but it hasnt so i reloaud the page... 5 FUCKING TIMES then i try a new email SAME FUCKKING THING and another SAME FUCKING THING so i wait 30 minutes and stil NO FUCKING THING. this game stole my monet i hate it
dont bother if you are in australia.. maybe wait a while, but for now i feel like i wasted my money as the ping makes this game unplayable
