Use a full-featured roller coaster editor with a CAD-style wire-frame display to build a custom coaster. Drag and drop track, supporting structures, and other objects. Use slider bars to change the perspective of the elements being designed, and to zoom in and out. Your only constraints are the laws of physics and your imagination.
After you have designed and constructed your roller coaster, NoLimits 2 serves up a real-time roller coaster experience, from the time the train chugs its way up the first slope, to the time it stops to a stop on the exit platform. The simulation includes the sounds of the wind rushing by, and the metal-on-metal sounds that are integral to enjoying a coaster ride. It's easy to choose any seat on any car in the coaster train. Use the computer's mouse to change the line of sight and angle of vision.

This simulation is great! The building process (while lengthy) is very fun and entertaining. The graphics are outstanding as well. However, it can be tricky to make smooth coasters without FVD++. But this game is still incredible, 9/10

one of my favorites. If you are really into designing coasters and have made some on planet coaster/planet coaster 2 but you think that that isn't enough then this is the one for you. 9.9/10 if you don't mind thoroughly non-modern ui
Although easy to learn, its hard to master. Its a very in depth coaster editor and I really like that. It has a decent amount of options for coasters but not too many. Overall great Simulation and editor
Let me start with the fact I started with Maximum G-Force Coasters on PC. It was great. Watching on a big screen with others. Almost like you were there. Now we have NoLimits 2. Same experience but better. Lots of user contributed content and VR support. Awesome with my Oculus DK2 developer model. Way more awesome with my Quest 3, (SteamLink and a good 6E wireless router and off you go). Goes on sale for $23.99 from time to time though at full price it is definitely worth it.

Fantastic. This software is by far the best when it comes to roller coaster simulation. Some people may come to this expecting gameplay - This is not its purpose. I've been using it for years as an enthusiast, and I always love coming back to it. NoLimits2 offers a lot, even without needing to upgrade to a professional licence. There is vast support for scripting too, meaning some of the projects that people create are simply incredible. One feature that was added that many fans requested was control panels for the rollercoasters. If I could perhaps find anything to improve on this software, is adding the control panels to flat rides too.

tried RCT3 then planet coaster, and while both are fun games, and good at what they are, this is something different. this is purely CAD for roller coasters, and there are literally no limits. i build in FVD++ then import like most people, but the amount of customization you can do in NL2 is unsurpassed.
