30 varied missions of increasing difficulty are waiting to be solved with your own personal architectural masterpieces.
Conquer the challenge posed by the clever use of 15 different component types. In addition to simple iron and steel struts, suspension cables and hydraulics are waiting to be used for folding and hanging bridges or build combinations.
But just to construct is not enough. Different demands from simple road to heavy rail freight traffic over to the passage of ships are just the beginning. The biggest enemies will be forces of nature such as floods, storms and earthquakes. Will your bridge stand up to it, or will it end in disaster?
Your efforts should not remain unrewarded. Through the successful completion of missions you will unlock new parts and scenarios for the integrated mission editor. Create new challenges and share them with your friends.
The Steam version includes the Bridge! Expansion pack extending Bridge! The Contstruction Game with many more features.
A new desert scenario for the road and rail version creates a greater variety within the missions while added construction elements, a new pillar for a suspension bridge and a rotary table for constructing a swing bridge will enhance the challenge factor.
All these added features will be used in the 20 new missions giving you added game time and challenges.
The biggest new feature though is the Bridge! Mission Browser. Now you can upload your own created mission or download mission by other users from within the game. With only a few mouse clicks you can enhance the fun of game play.

im not actually sure if all these crashes, bugs and buttons that stop functioning without a reason are because of bad steam version, modern hardware compability issues or just me remembering how this game was back when i was playing it 10 or more years ago.
but its current state is unplayable. i was even ok with crashes that hit every 2 levels but then the ui actually stopped working and that was it for me..
i will check if i could find my own cd copy and edit this comment if its any better,
but i remember how hard the hydrolic part levels were and its simply not possible for me to go that far with this much crappyness.
or maybe im just wrong idk.
Read everything in the help section and still couldn't get the first mission to work. Too glitchy.

This game is one of the best i have ever played. I could never find a game that brought me and my family so much enjoyment . I would recommend this game to the family just not your brother who works on bridges... he gets really competitive.
This game is bad. The controls sometimes don't function, it's not well explained, and barely functions. Just go play poly bridge or something instead.
This game does not work. Yes, it's cheap, $1.99, but it is actually worthless. As you move bridge sections, it does not decrement the dollar amount. It freezes up when you are two sections short of the other side.
The game physics does not work right. In other games you can look at the way the bridge collapses and make changes based on that. Not in this game. The stress screen does not even show if a part is being pushed or pulled only stress y/n.
The angles that you can place gerders is supriseingly limited to just a particular grid and the menues are slow.
The music is good tho.
Read the manual.
First, the default language is German, you need to change that in launch options before you start the game.
The game starts fairly intuitive, but not so much as you get further into the "missions". I've already lost over an hour and even though it's been frustrating at times, it's well worth the price, at least when it is on sale.

Physically cannot play the game the menu loads for 1 full second and then all the text is gone as well as all textures and anything else required to play the game. would not reccomend do not buy

cannot change the default language from what appears to be german/dutch. might be interesting if i could read the commands. i would lkike a refund for and unplayable game
Awful game with absolutely zero support from developers or publishers. Never quite works which is the standard I am coming to expect from Aerosoft!

This game is unexplanably HORRIFYING and TERRIBLE beyond words there are black and white strobe lights always when I open the game (and when I live in a house with someone that has epilepsy this is NOT OK) the default language is Dutch so you have to go therough a DAMN maze to find englisg because NONE of the options to select say anything and its MAJORLY PRONE to crashes every 30 seconds and then it tells you you do not have this game so you have to restart steam every tim you wanna play. I have nothing to say about the gameplay cause I was never able to get past the main menus since there wernt any labels. SO YEP THATS MY REVIEW in my opinion these devs just need to stop if this is what they created. This product is by Aerosoft who I have come across before being producers of payware for Microsoft Flight Simulator. All I can say about this constantly crashing game is that it lived up to my expectations and it's performance limitations killed it stone dead - five crashes to desktop in the space of one hour. From what I understand the sequel to this game is also worth saving your money over for similar reasons. Avoid Avoid Avoid ...
No Options To click on and cant change it from german!!! very poor would like a refund
Looks like it should be good fun but it's not. Gameplay is dated and clunky with frequent glitches, awkward anchor points and occasional invisible components. UI is also poor.
I would not recomend this game caused of bad programmin and having such limited options when building bridges. i always liked to make funny looking but working bridges.. in this game it doesnt allow you to do enything funny.
