Baita jogão, Far Cry 3 até então era o meu favorito e eu tinha até um certo preconceito com os outros jogos da saga, mas o 4 é um baita jogo. Bão demais a jogabilidade e tudo.
Ah, e pnc do Willis!
This is not for me. I may have messed up by playing 5 first THEN this one. But the same appeal is not there as there was for 5 (or other games TBH). It has issues on 1st launch (one of the sound files or something was acting up or something). Relaunched and tried to get past the intro mission and it just felt boring to me. May be for someone else, but not for me.
Great, great, just great! One of the best in the series.
adding online achievements on a solo game is so fucking stupid to begin with and now they cant be obtained because the servers don't work.
Not enjoying the overly religious portions of the game, especially the mask collection and Shangari-La with the presence of demons. :(
Genuinely a great game, played it years ago. FUCKING HATE UBISOFT CONNECT THO- I FUCKING HOPE THE CEO OF UBISOFT BURNS IN A FIRE YOU ARE A FUCKING TERRIBLE PERSON
Ubisoft's connect launcher they continue to insist that everyone is forced to use has now killed this game. Somewhere in the install process your ubisoft launcher becomes outdated and suddenly the game won't launch or even give an error code. Every kind of fix imaginable has been tried short of an exorcism to get this game to start. This isn't my specs or running too many apps it is genuinely not working when hitting play.
Requires a Ubi account connection, loading times are extremely long.
Gameplay is mundane, but good to relax since little thought needed. Cut scenes remove collectibles like rare animal hides, so make sure to prioritize looting before missions.
Game constantly requests my location, even though I've disabled access to location info for all devices. Huge violation of privacy.
One of the best games in the Series- likely THE BEST. You can ride an elephant while wielding a rocket launcher... What more could you ask for from a video game?
Game is super fun. Even if you don't usually play shooters, the gameplay is diverse and doesn't have that many following missions like ubisoft games usually do, I'll always prefer this to Farcry 3.
you have to do the entire of act 1 for coop just to find out that you cant even do the main storyline in coop mode and are locked to side quests and exploring only
well first 90% of the game was good, then
* 2 "unknown locations" is undiscoverable,
* the game stucks on loading screen after the last shangri-la boss
due to known bugs and ubisoft just does nothing about this, it's a shame =/
Far Cry 4 is a fantastic game that delivers an immersive story, beautiful graphics, and a captivating world to explore. Although the drug themes can feel repetitive and the villain doesn’t reach the iconic status of Vaas, it’s still an incredibly fun game that deserves a big thumbs up. It’s a must-play for any fan of open-world shooters, offering a memorable experience from start to finish.
From the perspective of base game this is the best far cry by far. The amount of culture and scenery of this game is so good. This is a passion project from ubisoft and its a 10/10 if not for bugs.
Now for 100%
- base game is fine some slightly annoying things but its fine the maps for the collectibles make it doable
- steam achievements on the other hand were miserable due to the low player count the multiplayer achievement you have to coordinate with others also going for the achievement. Also the multiplayer sucks xd
Far Cry® 4 – A Chaotic Open-World Adventure
🎮 Gameplay & Combat – 9/10
Far Cry 4 takes everything great about its predecessor and cranks it up. The gunplay is tight, the stealth mechanics are satisfying, and the sheer variety of ways to tackle missions keeps things fresh. Whether you're using silenced weapons, setting up ambushes with explosives, or riding an elephant into battle (yes, really), the game constantly rewards creativity.
🌍 Open World & Exploration – 9.5/10
The fictional region of Kyrat is absolutely stunning. From dense forests to snowy mountaintops, the world is full of life and danger. Wildlife plays a huge role—you’re just as likely to get attacked by a tiger as you are by enemy soldiers. The map is packed with side activities, outposts, fortresses, and hidden secrets that make exploration feel rewarding.
🎭 Story & Characters – 8/10
Pagan Min steals the show as one of the most charismatic villains in gaming. However, the main story can feel a bit predictable, and the protagonist, Ajay Ghale, is more of a blank slate compared to previous leads. That said, the faction choices and multiple endings add some replayability.
🔊 Sound & Atmosphere – 10/10
The sound design is phenomenal. The gun sounds are punchy, the ambient noise immerses you in the world, and the soundtrack perfectly fits the setting. Pagan Min’s voice acting alone deserves a 10/10.
🤝 Co-op & Replayability – 9/10
Co-op mode lets you tackle outposts and explore Kyrat with a friend, which adds a ton of fun. The variety of weapons, vehicles, and approaches to combat make it easy to come back for more.
🔥 Final Verdict: A Must-Play Open-World FPS
Far Cry 4 takes everything great about Far Cry 3 and refines it while adding more chaos, more freedom, and more elephants. If you love open-world shooters with plenty of action and exploration, this is one of the best in the series.
⭐ Score: 9/10
💰 If it’s on sale, grab it ASAP!
Some say Far Cry 4 is the peak of the series but i would not go that far. I think Far Cry 3 had a better story with the help of a great villain..to be fair Pagan Min wasn't that bad either and in terms of content and quality it's a close race for the best game in the franchise.
Ajay is an uninteresting main protagonist..if in Far Cry 3 we had a journey and real transformation for Jason here we just don't feel any change...oh and Amita and Sabal i hate them but let just keep this spoiler free.
The gameplay was great and fast paced, there are 100 ways to liberate an outpost and i'm not kidding ..if you decide to have fun just set something on fire hide and let the wind do its magic.
You can free cages and use predators like tigers or bears to your advantage, you can even ride elephants but the real fun begins when you lure a few rhinos toward your enemies..
Chaining takedowns feels great, stealth is rewarding but maybe too op... you can turn enemies to toys just by trowing rocks..if you use a silencer or a bow it becomes a playground where you're controlling everything. Using mines and setting traps with c4 was my favorite strategy , it was so funny watching enemies trying to reach the alarm posts.
Speaking of fun some of the side missions and dlcs were great ..i also enjoyed hunting in this game a lot. For its age this game still looks good and i consider it playable.

Absolutely horrendous port. Genuinely cannot believe this is for sale. I am frequently required to restart my pc after running this game because of visual artifacts which persist after the game is closed. It actually rewrote my gamepad inputs, so that while it worked for about 30 minutes after that B on an xbox 1 gamepad became left d-pad, the xbox button became jump, etc. With no way to remap controls at all or fix that, the game became unplayable after about 70 minutes. Horrendous.
The dynamics of the map is one of the best part
Also the Indian setting is really cool, feels like home sort of and cussing in bad words is just the cherry on top 🤣🤣👌
Wingsuit has about a 50% chance of instantly killing you when landing. The deploy button is also the same as sprint, so if you so much as look at a slight ledge while sprinting, it will launch you. Yet, somehow I have also had several instances where I jump off a cliff, only for the wingsuit to refuse to deploy, getting me killed.
I've also had several instances of enemies, especially animals, stunlocking me to death with the knock down animation. Which is extremely frustrating.
Rushing to takedown an enemy, only for them to turn and shove you to the ground, then shoot you to death while you wait an eon for the get up animation to play out, then another eon before you can fire your gun or move, is one of the worst game designs I have ever seen.
Besides the horrendous decision to constantly shift your FOV in the most absurd situations, (such as simply looking side to side while in a vehicle) these are the only big issues I have had. However, they are so common, it genuinely has ruined the experience for me. There has been WAY more deaths that felt unfair or broken, than genuine mistakes on my end.
absolutely love this game- i think it has one of the best settings in gaming. very rare to see a game based on india and nepal done so well.
it does that have the ubisoft open world gameplay- find a tower, find an outpost, kill everyone, do a mission, repeat.
but, the story, characters, and map are well worth it. it's between this and 3 as my favorite far cry.
The basic mechanics are showing their age a bit too much for me. Far Cry 5 was my first FC game and I like it significantly more so that might color my review, but it's my truth.
This game is amazing however i have encountered so many bugs. Hate the fact i can't change the wingsuit keybind..i keep trying to bunnyhop and end up wingsuiting straight into the ground and end up dying. Uhmmm another thing that was painful where the shangri-la missions. Remember when i first played the game on 360 i hated them back then and i still hate them 10 years later. I'm yet to play the yeti dlc...really curious how that plays
I really enjoy the aspect of how open world it is and that you have the freedom to choose what to do.
The indian touch to it, the hindi absuses, the scenic views, the story of the game, in all the whole game itself.
game crashes on launch and doesnt allow you to even play the game. DO NOT BUY
garbage ubishit launcher that ask me that "i dont have access to the game" and "linked to different account" even my main account has far cry 4 and it still wanna linked into another account that i dont have far cry 4 and i cant log in for what?
i played 14 hour ago with my main accout perfectly fine but when i bought DLC on sale this shit got broken and cant play it any more
ubishit launcher cant log in even u using the right password XD their said u password is incorrect but when u try changing u password it said u use the same password LOL what a freaking clown launcher
Just to get this out of the way, I played #1 on PC, completed it and enjoyed it, #2 on PS3 completing most of it, I enjoyed it for a while, but overall found it tedious and repetitive and #3 on PS3, completed it an thought it the best of the series, and still do, of those that I have played.
So, #4... well, first time I launched the game, I couldn't get it to work, despite updating Uplay, logging out and back in, rebooting etc, Uplay kept telling me it was out of date and the game would not launch... then randomly it worked... I look forward to the next time I try to launch the game.
As for the game...
The prologue is just a linear tutorial/intro of sorts, and now on Act 2, while the game appears to have a reasonably sized map, it feels claustrophobic and still linear. I've just been going back and forth doing missions, spending more time travelling then anything. There thus far seems very little to do in terms of having a little fun along the way to doing said missions, and even less in terms of enemies (other than an over abundance of wildlife) outside of missions... other than the occasional random encounter of friendly's being ambushed on the road.
As eluded to earlier, animals/wildlife respawn way too often/quickly and early on this can be a problem due to the limited ammo you can carry and that certain wildlife can be absolute bullet sponges.
Gunplay, even for the games age isn't satisfying, it's limp and sloppy with no feedback and every gun (of the same type), just feels exactly the same.
The hang glider mechanics and controls are absolutely terrible, and ground vehicles feel way to twitchy and floaty.
To interact with something, or to talk to someone, you literally have to shove your face right up against the object/person you feel like you are trying to physically merge with it/them.
Audio levels at times are all over the place.
There are a few graphical glitches, the most notable and frequently encountered is when approaching an animal you've killed, to skin it, the animal develops a texture overlay akin to old timey television static. Alt tabbing back to desktop and then back to the game seems to be the root cause of some of the glitches occurring and definitely makes them far more frequent.
Unskippable cut scenes, not something I would normally do with such a game, but some are just too cringe to bare.
FC3 had memorable NPC's and a half decent plot, overall it was a fun and enjoyable game that I still largely remember to this day, with FC4 I'm only 5 hours in, yet I've not met a single NPC I care or give a toss about and frankly I've already given up on the plot. Sadly, I genuinely don't see me completing very much of this game, let alone remember any of it when I move on.
I realise that I have not played much of the game yet, but the reason that I have chosen to write this review at this point is as follows...
I recently got access to use a gyrocopter, which given the terrible implementation of the hang glider, I was very happy about, that was until I tried to land near the settlement of Banapur.
There was ample room on the ground around the settlement to land, yet despite this as I descended, the gyro got thrown up into the air, which appears be the result of an incredibly lazy design choice to prevent you from landing somewhere that isn't entirely flat or prevent colliding with something, which coupled with the hit box for either trees, the gyro or both being much bigger than their actual models, sadly these poor decisions lead to a rather serious problem.
The reason being, the gyro can only go so high, and when it goes too high, it stalls, so I proceeded for over 15 minutes to bounce into the air, stall, bounce, stall, in a near infinite loop where I had no control over the gyro.
Eventually, after spending some time reading the news online while listening to a couple of YouTube videos, constantly having stalling sounds from the gyro playing in the background, the gyro had managed to work itself out of the loop.
It's fair to say that I won't be getting in a gyro again anytime soon, which given the terrible controls of the glider and floaty controls for land vehicles which, coupled with the cluttered map containing no memorable POI's that just makes land travel tedious.

Pleasant game with a good story and plenty of action 8/10 cuz F**k those mountains...
A story in which my childhood memories live. I remember and love this game endlessly for 6 years. As Ishwari Gail said, this path will tell you more than I could tell you. Go through it and you will understand everything.
Genuinely cannot recommend this game. I tried to like it, I really did.
The story has no pacing. Talk to a person, go kill this guy, go clear this outpost. No sense of where you are in the story at all. Just got tasked to kill a guy in power of a region. No prepwork or anything, just "oh yeah sneak on a truck and you're in". And the forced stealth missions have got to be the worst ones I've ever played in my life. Also the wildlife in this game can suck my dick. I've never seen eagles this aggressive and I love getting stunlocked by a random boar, yak, rhino, etc.
The game tries so hard to get you to be nice to the people with Karma and have you make moral choices that effect the future of Kyrat. Or atleast that was the idea behind it, even though none of your choices matter at the end of it all. Didn't care about Kyrat or anyone involved. In fact, I found almost every single character to be infuriating with how they keep insulting you or just being the most annoying characters in existence. Ajay is a nothing character that lets literally everyone shit talk him and he just stand there like a moron and takes it without saying a word back. The main bad guy is actually one of the only characters I didn't hate. I wanted to burn Kyrat down myself and everyone in it.
Gameplay is also disconnected. There's almost no sense of power scaling. You just hop in and immediately find a grenade launcher that one-shots most things in the game. And then you get like 24 grenades for it to boot. Where is the sense of progression? I just ended up with a MG42 in the early game that shred through anything. The wingsuit can also be bought almost immediately and always fucking auto deploys because I hold shift to run. The whole thing doesn't flow or feel natural at all. You just become overpowered in the first few hours. This is what happens when you build on a good game and just think making the player more overpowered is the answer to keeping it entertaining.
In coop this game is buggy as all hell, but still very entertaining. Easily the best part of the game, even if only the free roaming stuff can be done with a buddy.
People like this game, but with the abundance of problems and annoyances mentioned I just didn't have a good experience.
I had my fair share of trying to fix this game. Countless hours spent looking at YouTube fixes with third party and/or fan made "fixes" that don't work. I simply cannot and will not support a developer that failed to put out a playable game that doesn't require a fix and is not ready to play upon installation and launch. STRONGLY don't recommend this one. Go and play FC3, this one is a pale shadow with minimal work and effort. They changed a story a little bit, added 2-3 new weapons and called it a game. Refunded multiple times and I am done with it.
Far Cry 4 enhances the Far Cry 3 experience with a more diverse world, new gameplay mechanics like riding elephants and using a grappling hook, and a compelling antagonist, Pagan Min. It's essentially Far Cry 3 with more content, better graphics and refined features.
You are gonna love it!
its a super fun game the graphics are amazing i highly recommend to other up coming gamers
very very poorly optimized port. took over a decade just to get achievements. controller support is laughable. FIX YOUR GAME UBISOFT
Still one of the best Far Cry games for sure. Nepal is a very scenic setting. The game also runs perfect. Never had in issue running on any of my PCs since the game came out.
Do not buy. You cant play this 10 year old single player game offline. if you don't have internet, they will not allow you to play the game you bought. Do not buy this game. Do not buy Ubisoft games. Have respect for yourself.
Not the best Far Cry but pretty good. Beautiful world, challenging outposts, decent story. The villains in Far Cry games are just amazing.
Ubisoft finally comes grovelling back to Steam. Now they are barely adding achievements to games, some more than a decade after release.
Better late than never?
I mean they put out some good products over the years, but their management team never listened to their customers during that same time period. So I have no desire to give praise to their company.
The game itself is great, one of the best in series.
Being forced to play the game in Russian due to the region one lives in (without the ability to change the language), however, is extremely scummy.
Rating: 8/10
Overview: Far Cry 4, developed by Ubisoft, is an open-world first-person shooter that offers a vast and immersive experience. Set in the fictional Himalayan region of Kyrat, players assume the role of Ajay Ghale, a young man who returns to his homeland to fulfill his mother's dying wish, only to find himself caught in the middle of a civil war. The game builds on the formula established by Far Cry 3, offering a huge, dynamic world filled with action, exploration, and freedom.
Story: The narrative of Far Cry 4 revolves around Ajay, who becomes embroiled in the conflict between the oppressive ruler Pagan Min and the rebel group, the Golden Path. As Ajay, you are tasked with making difficult choices that will shape the future of Kyrat. The story features themes of power, rebellion, and identity, with multiple factions vying for control.
While the plot may not be groundbreaking, it provides a solid foundation for the game’s various missions and encounters. The characters, particularly Pagan Min, are memorable, with Min being an eccentric and unpredictable villain that adds a unique flavor to the story. The player's choices during the game influence the ending, adding replayability.
Gameplay: Far Cry 4 offers a rich, open-world experience with a variety of ways to tackle objectives. Players can approach missions in multiple ways: stealthily, with guns blazing, or by utilizing the environment and wildlife. The game introduces new vehicles, weapons, and mechanics, including the gyrocopter, which allows for aerial exploration, and the ability to ride elephants into battle, which is as fun as it sounds.
The game’s core mechanics are built around exploration, combat, and taking control of outposts, with side missions and collectibles scattered throughout the map. There's a lot to do, and the game rewards exploration with hidden treasures, wildlife hunting, and optional storylines. The combat is satisfying, with a variety of weapons, from bows to automatic rifles, as well as explosive gadgets to help you take down enemies.
The gameplay is smooth and enjoyable, though some mechanics can feel repetitive over time. The AI can be a bit predictable, and the game occasionally leans too heavily on its combat-focused gameplay, with less emphasis on puzzles or deeper strategy.
Graphics and Performance: Far Cry 4 offers a stunning visual experience, with breathtaking landscapes ranging from snow-capped mountains to dense jungles. The detailed environments and realistic weather systems help immerse you in the world of Kyrat. The character models and animations are solid, though they can sometimes feel a bit stiff during cutscenes.
The game runs well on most modern systems, though players with lower-end hardware may experience some performance drops during intensive firefights or while exploring large areas. The game’s optimization is decent, but the open-world nature of the game can sometimes cause minor technical glitches.
Audio Design: The audio in Far Cry 4 is excellent, with a diverse soundtrack that complements the setting. The sounds of nature, wildlife, and combat are well-designed, adding to the immersive experience. The voice acting is strong, particularly from key characters like Pagan Min, who is portrayed as a charismatic yet disturbing antagonist. The music also helps to build tension during action sequences, making encounters feel more intense.
Challenges: Far Cry 4 is an engaging game that offers a good challenge, particularly on higher difficulty settings. The combat, while fun, can become repetitive, especially when it comes to taking over enemy outposts or dealing with waves of enemies. Some players may also find the game’s side missions a bit tedious, as they often involve the same tasks like clearing outposts or hunting animals.
The game's difficulty ramps up during story missions, but it’s mostly manageable, with the ability to upgrade Ajay’s skills and equipment. The game also offers a co-op mode, allowing players to team up with a friend to complete certain objectives together, which can add a layer of fun and unpredictability.
Final Thoughts: Far Cry 4 is an exhilarating open-world shooter with plenty of content to keep players engaged. The vast, diverse world of Kyrat is packed with activities, and the story provides enough motivation to keep pushing forward. While some elements can feel repetitive, the game's gorgeous visuals, satisfying combat, and memorable characters make it an enjoyable experience overall.
Pros:
Massive, beautiful open world to explore
Engaging combat with a variety of weapons and vehicles
Interesting characters, especially the villain Pagan Min
Tons of side content, including collectibles and outposts
Fun co-op mode for added replayability
Cons:
Some repetitive gameplay elements, particularly with missions
AI can feel predictable at times
The story can be a bit shallow and unoriginal
Far Cry 4 is a fantastic title for fans of open-world games who enjoy action-packed gameplay and exploration. While it doesn’t necessarily reinvent the wheel, it builds upon the success of Far Cry 3 and delivers an engaging experience that will keep you entertained for hours.
By far the best game in the entire franchise, it perfects what FC3 did and puts both past and future entries in the franchise to shame. A literal roller-coaster of non stop action with barely any pacing issues, Kyrat is the best map we've had so far, especially in terms of looks, which makes traversing it a treat. Like in FC5 they tried doing 4 villains instead of one, but really Pagan is the only memorable one out of all of them. I really do think a campaign where you can side with him would've gone hard. He is a much better option than either Amita or Sabal. However you sadly cant really side with him except for a secret ending so it is what it is. But regardless, FC4 really makes you feel like a guerrilla fighter, and combined with all of the things said above, its well worth your time
Except for Overrun, every DLC adds single player content to the game (Season pass includes a bonus mission). Valley of the Yetis DLC is the only one worth playing. Its probably the best DLC out of all the Far Cry games. Everything else is incredibly mediocre, boring and inconsistent. Not having a DLC set in Shangri-La is a massive missed opportunity. As for Overrun, its a multiplayer DLC and the multiplayer in Far Cry 4 is terrible.
9/10
This is the third platform I’ve played this on, and it has gotten better each time. It should’ve had steam achievements working from launch day!
awkward family story with ur father-in-law
Very formulaic but the formula is fun. I got this in a humble bundle years ago and decided to play since it just got steam achievements. It's pretty much the same formula as far cry 3, but with more content and a weaker story. Personally I like the mountainous setting more than the tropical setting of Far cry 3. It's more interesting to navigate, and once you finish exploring a section of the map you can just wingsuit off a cliff or use a glider to go check out a new place. Running around, completing side quests, and grabbing collectibles is very fun. I'm not impressed with the story so far, so I've just been playing the game is short bursts where I run around, complete some side missions, and then play a story mission. The gameplay is a little jank at times. Interaction ranges feel to short and vaulting ledges feels clunky. Overall I'm having fun, but if you don't own this already I would maybe check out the newer games instead as they are probably less clunky and have the same formula + more content. I don't think you would want to play this game and then Far Cry 5 or 6 as I feel after I complete this game I will be a little tired of the formula for a year at least. Still very fun and scratches the Skyrim style open world itch.
grew up watching my brother play. will never get tired of this game. from the graphics to the commentary to the story mode farcry 4 has so much to offer with zero bordem.
This game is absolute trash in 2025. This game can only be played in fullscreen with aspect set to auto or it shifts the entire game off your screen, even if you only have one monitor active. I also get no sound in-game. Every other game in my library (300+) works fine except Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. Ubisoft sucks. Gonna try Far Cry 5 next, but I'm expecting a similar result. Avoid this trash.
OH, MY, GOD
So first of all, the game itself is completely OKAY - fun to play, long game play (even though a bit repetitive) and good graphics and MOST IMPORTANTLY if you are NOT interested in getting all the achievements then I can only fully recommend this game to any.
BUT
If you ARE interested in getting all the achievements, well then good fucking luck because the multiplayer CO-OP achievements are almost impossible to get because in this 21st century, somehow Ubisoft is of the attitude of "fuck all" and is not able to provide with stable connections between two players and whenever you are trying to host / join a session the game either crashes on your side or the other guy's.
I somehow managed to get the achievements nevertheless, but with a 4th person and on a 3rd take after trying to obtain TWO achievements for 7 long hours.
NEVER AGAIN I'M BUYING A UBISOFT GAME with achievements on. No thank you, sir.
playing it on a laptop with a 16:10 resolution and got black bars on the screen.... but hey, we got achievements now...
To play Far Cry 4 you first need to waste 1-2 hours to:
1. Install mod to skip cutscenes (coz they all are unskippable in game)
2. Install mod to skip cutscenes by pressing spacebar (experimental)
3. Find, download and manually install English sound (coz game is region soft locked)
