it is a fun game on xbox but it keeps freazing
zombies in space land still holds up so well, idk about the multiplayer since I was playing BO3 instead.
Did not play the MP or zombies, but this is probably the best COD campaign next to MW2019. Great characters and set-pieces, albeit driven by so-so writing. Basically the closest thing to an Expanse FPS you're gonna get; the zero-g combat and ship boarding is bad-ass.
7/10 would order Gator to drop out again
Great Campaign, E3N is an amazing brother to fight side by side with.
This is undoubtedly one of the most hated games released in the Call of Duty franchise that boasts a criminally underrated and often overlooked zombies mode with arguably one of the best base zombies maps.
One of the best Call of Duty campaign experiences. Zombies is also still very fun and a tonal shifter from Treyarch's/Sledgehammer's adaptation of the gamemode. Many hidden easter eggs still yet to be solved, playable celebrity character's who's legacy will be cemented in history. Elvira/Cassandra Peterson, Pam Grier, Kevin Smith, David Hasselhoff and of course Willard Wyler/Paul Reubens (may he rest in peace). This game will always have a place in my heart as being one of the best COD experiences who's potential was not seen nor encouraged by the fanbase... until it was too late to go back.

This game is total space shit.
As someone who even loved Advanced Warfare, I was underwhelmed. They should have just changed the name of the game at this point.
It has some game breaking bugs. I was stuck around the final mission because one bitch decided to not move, restarted the whole mission. Multiplayer and Zombies mode are completely dead. They crashe randomly in few minutes (Win 11), plus none players I could find. From what I played, Zombies felt good like in BO3.
Also, compared to all the other in the series, Veteran was insanely difficult. While Hardened was significantly easier. lol
For the campaign, there were one or two epic story & gameplay moments here and there, which let me not go lower on the rating. But it's not what it should have been... with that greedy price, and game breaking bugs with underwhelming campaign, it's a product of corporate greed.
Not necessarily a bad one, but its a disappointing one.
Writing this after completing the campaign on veteran. The campaign really is an absolute gem. The setting and story is quite engaging and fits right at home in sci-fi. Characters are wellwritten and you start to care for them despite how little time you spend with them overall. Mission progression being more open in the order you wish to complete them(or not) is a breath of fresh air from more railroaded campaign progression. Feels nice to have the option of choosing your next mission inbetween main story beats.
I highly recommend getting this game on sale for the campaign alone. It's well worth that.

Online is dead but one of the best Zombies modes to date. I recommend buying the bundle with the season pass during one of the holiday sales!
As for right now I don't recommend this game for Windows 11 players as it keeps crashing on Windows 11 I have no other issues with my other games as this is the only issue I have with this game so for right now I'm giving this a thumbs down.
$40 on sale worth for the zombies, 4 extremely well made maps with easter eggs that are mostly good sometimes hard to love and beast from beyond

Playing with bots on multiplayer is satisfying - they seem to work on the relatively fantastic code of COD Ghost's bots (dropshotting, jumping around corners to surprise you, throwing all kinds of grenades, using special abilities). The campaign is gorgeous and has some wonderful characters (my fav, Salter). The weapons, especially the NV4 and VOLK are sublime in terms of sounds and animations.
Pick this up on sale, along with the season pass if you like MP Bots/Zombies, and you might be surprised at how charming the experience is.
One of my favorite COD game from the series.
This was the game that inducted me into the series, as I was more of a 'non FPS' type of person.
The sci-fi genre which was a turn off for mainstay fans, ironically was the reason I got intrigued.
Good gunplay, characters you get invested in, and the part where you ascend into space with your fighter jet.
That part gives me goosebumps every time I see it.
game only worked for 2 hrs then repeatedly crashed tried ever fix possible and sill wouldent work and could not get refund
8 or so years since I last played this game, saw a nostalgic video of zombies in Spaceland. checked to see if it was on offer and it was so here I am. 8 years later buying all the DLC's just for the zombies experience and you know what... It does not disappoint.
If you miss the spaceland scooby doo/ arcade game type vibe just bite the bullet and get this if its on offer. Game holds up better now than I remember it doing in the initial release,
Just an honest shame I cant find squad players for Zombies.
Lets hope one day Activision give this Zombies dev team a chance to continue this story line, Without a doubt the best experience outside of the best few Treyarch maps

This game was a massive surprise—I wasn’t expecting such an immersive story from a Call of Duty game, which I had forgotten about. The storytelling was amazing; I nearly cried when E3N and Reyes were about to die in space. Flying the Jackals was really fun, and the gunfights were intense, especially the mission with hundreds of drones swarming you—it felt like a zombies game. This could easily be its own series.
It's cool nice zombies but I can't play multiplayer online here on steam 🥲🥲
This game is so stupidly fun. It's like junk food where it's nothing special but it makes me so unbelievably happy.
Look, I'm a 43 year old patient gamer who enjoys stories. I just got into the COD franchise about a month ago. I don't care much about MP, but I've never played an FPS game like COD. Frankly, I loved the story line. It was gripping and heartbreaking. Especially for the price during the Winter Sale, I think I got a very good deal. I would probably be a little salty at a 10 hour story line with the full price, even if I love the story. But at $20 it was a worthwhile use of my time.

Campaign although barely runs on my decent setup, with even on lowered down settings.
Multiplayer servers still don't work after 4 or 5 years since i bought this game.
Zombies is fun and somehow still has servers, but the constant stuttering with a somewhat beefy cpu, rx 7600, and 32gb of ram running on an ssd, is hilarious.

The biggest crime this game made was to be called Call of Duty. While it's multiplayer isn't great, this had easily one of the best campaign storylines ever with characters you cared deeply about, deep sacrifice, and a great + realistic world building. It really deserved far better. Perhaps, fittingly, the campaign never ended with a sequel in mind. But this a campaign I keep thinking about and coming back to

steam still wont refund me the game from day one to now this sucks.
i upgrade my pc 3 times since 2016 and still all 3 times game crash on all 3 versions of my pc.
other call of duty and black ops games work fine just not this one.

single player campaign is surprisingly good, fun mechanics, cool maps. similar vibe as titanfall 2 though the story doesnt quite reach the same heights.
overall, it's worth playing if you enjoy futuristic fps with interesting traversal mechanics.

this game got absolutely fucked over when it was revealed; genuinely one of the greatest COD games of all time, even if the multiplayer is a more restrictive black ops 3 and the zombies maps fall off after shaolin shuffle
One of the best, if not, the best, campaign I've ever played; not just for call of duty but for any game. multiplayer is okay. zombies has a dedicated fan base but Black ops one is more my style.

Absolutely one of the best military campaigns out there. This game has incredibly lovable characters and great bonds between them. By the end of the game you will already be wishing to play through it one last time to feel the commendatory and friendship formed through steel and a common agenda. Which is to save the world from those who wish to destroy it all.... If you are looking for your next hard hitting single player experience, choose this one. HOORAH
If youre looking for a good zombie mode then i would say that IW zombies is on of the best ever made. The only thing that bothers me is that you have to buy the DLC maps as a whole pack its not really that expensive but still 50 Euros are 50 Euros. But the Campagne is really good aswell so if youre looking for story wise then this one isnt the best Campagne form all COD but its quiet good. The Multiplayer mode is in my opinion bad i dont really play Multiplayer modes in COD so you have to decide for yourself.
The big scenes in the plot are shocking, and as a sci-fi fan, I love them.

MP's dead as a doornail, but there's lots of dumb fun to be had in the campaign. Get it on sale or physical, the asking price is still way too high.
The zombies for this is way too fun. However, it is annoying that you need to buy an extremely expensive game and then the expensive season pass. Even on sale it's not that cheap considering how old the game is now
This games so good only downside is it no longer works for me anymore recently. The game used to open fine and had 0 problems but now no longer lets me load onto an actual game of zombies and i cant change the settings on the game without the application completely crashing everytime. I've tryed loads of things but nothing seems to work so i guess ill have to wait until the game actually gets fixed.

i have only played the story not too bad of a story if its on easy. I paid for it on steam an i got iw7_ship downloaded from steam i am having such a big issue with playing with zombies it will load the into for every dlc map but wont load the game. an muti-player will just keep loading till it crash. the first time i downloaded it the story worked until I shut it off or close it out but when I do it wont work at all after that cant play story the bar only loads up 98% the intro works but fails to load the game or maps. kinda a waste of money might be my last cod pc buy
This is genuinely one of the best zombies experiences ever created. I've owned the game on PS4 since it came out in 2016, and I've loved every second of it. The community wanted zombies to innovate, and Infinity Ward did exactly that. It was fun and wacky, which served as a good break from the serious and gritty Aether storyline in the Black Ops games. That doesn't mean some of Infinite Warfare's criticism was without merit, as its multiplayer was among the worst I have ever played. Its campaign wasn't that bad, but it wasn't the best, either. All around, I think this game was a solid entry into the Call of Duty franchise.
