With terrifying enemies waiting around every dark corner, Barry will need to use his ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style.

Players also have the option of choosing Complete Season or Full Bundle, ensuring fans have access to each episode as it releases along with additional bonus content. Each episode in Resident Evil Revelations 2 includes Raid mode content and two full playable scenarios focused on the previously announced Claire and Moira campaign and the newly confirmed Barry and Natalia storyline.

Bought the game only to stare at claire's a$$ . I recommend this game if yall love flat a$$es
I really enjoyed the story focused around Barry Burton the legend.
underrated RE game idc if its cheesy at times and has a telltale story episode system
plus raid mode is goated
8.5/10 would play again
Sickening sequel. Resident Evil Revelations 1 & 2 are heavily underrated. I highly recommend playing both titles if you're a fan of the series.
Im surprised i dont hear anything about this game. It's story is good but not as good as the other RE games.
However raid mode is really fun and i wish they would bring it back in a future RE game.
I dont mind the episodic format. People who complain about not knowing that before buying the game should do research before spending money
its not a full game (1/4 chapters, others are DLC). short story, but cool to explore. games maximum 2 hours
As someone who has played every mainline Resident Evil title and many spin-offs across various platforms, I can confidently say that Revelations 2 absolutely and positively surprised me and at the same time blew me away with its incredibly well made Raid Mode.
From the moment I tried it, I was absolutely hooked. The combination of fast paced, bite-sized shooter sections, tons of lootable weapons and weapon parts as well as some character customization is more than enjoyable. And the gameplay loop is just chef’s kiss. The shooting part is way more fun than I would have imagined. They nailed the way the guns handle, shoothing just feels good in this game.
The campaign is still on my to-do list, but honestly, Raid Mode is so good that I’ve had no rush to dive in just yet.
As a side note, the game still looks well made for being released in 2015.
Most of the maps seem to originate from Resident Evil 6, and they are easy on the eyes. Same applies to the playable characters, whose models are also still more than nice to look at.
If you’re into third-person shooters with a focus on satisfaying gameplay, the Raid Mode is a must-play. It may not feel like a classic Resident Evil in the traditional sense, but for me, it’s easily one of the most fun shooter experiences out there.
loved playing this game couple years back, got it again and i cant even play because its not optimized at all, talking 3fps here. for raid mode it has normal fps in the lobby but when you actually start it goes to 1-3fps. my pcs not bad by any means so idk what the issue is, atleast i got it on discount
it's so UGLY and sloppy, but extremely fun in coop on casual. moira's flashlight uses a star as the bulb or something. everything is just so stupid but in an endearing way. if you can get this for a lowball price and play couch coop, plenty of cheap thrills.
This game is definitely one of those underrated gems..
The story might be a lil bit predictable, but the atmosphere really pulls you in...
The characters are fun (especially natalia), and the co-op gameplay is like cherry on a cake...
While it might not get as much love as other entries in the series, but it's definitely worth checking out if you're into creepy survival horror or retro games...
This game brings back nostalgia as this was the only and first resident evil game i played, also i love the story and game play
A marked improvement over the first game, both visually and mechanically, but not without it's flaws.
RE: Revelations 2, while being a bit of a spin-off title, could stand it's ground against pretty much all other RE titles. My reasoning?
1) They have almost perfected survival horror with this one. You will always have just enough to get by with, but you'll never feel overpowered (unless you save all of your magnum ammo).
2) You never feel helpless in any given situation, but you may dread them.
3) The audio design is enough to sent shivers down your spine because you just know something has seen you, but you haven't seen IT yet.
4) Support characters will be separated from you at times (though you can control both through character switching) forcing you to not only focus on the objective, but also forcing you to keep them alive while they do it.
5) The visual design, while drab at times, also gives way to some really awesome environments.
The flaws?
1) The DLC isn't great. I didn't really need a DLC where I'm basically playing an arena shooter through the eyes of a supporting character who never used a gun in the main game with a weird hunting mechanic to earn extra "lives." I haven't gotten to touch the second DLC yet, but hopefully it's better than the first one.
2) Beyond Chapter 2, I kept getting these weird freezes, where the game would be stuck in a perpetual loading state. In the game, this would also manifest as Barry standing at doorways that you have to pass through to get to the next area. However, this only happened during Barry's chapters. I don't know what caused it, and doing a fresh install + verifying files didn't fix the problem.
3) While there are only 4 chapters (6, if you count the two DLCs), some of them feel like they absolutely drag on for no reason. It's not entirely a bad thing, but it's also one of those things that just made me scratch my head. Each chapter has two sections, one where you play as Jill and Moira, then a second part where you play as Barry and Natalia, but there were definitely some pacing issues in my opinion.
5) While the enemy designs are awesome, some of them are just absolute bullet sponges. Yes, weak points help, but some enemies don't have weak points, and you may be low on ammo and NEED to kill them to progress. This does play a positive note, by never letting you feel overpowered (unless you save all of your magnum ammo) but it also is one of those things where I don't want to be trapped in an arena and be forced to backtrack to TRY to find ammo. Especially since this isn't like modern RE games where your map shows you if you've found everything or not.
6) I'm not a fan of the fact that you can pick up a map, but that map can't be viewed (unless I've missed something). In the first Revelations game, you could pull up your PDA and look at the map whenever you wanted. It gave you all of the information on the doors you could and couldn't open on the whole ship and the locations of all of the weapon boxes. It would make exploring just a little bit more manageable, because there are some open areas where you can poke around to find things. However, with Revelations 2, it seems fairly linear compared to Revelations. But, if I can't view the map, might as well have not included it, in my opinion. Especially since the mini-map gives so little information.
People will argue that Rev2 is the most underrated RE game...and they would be right! Because it deserves to be! I lost interest in the story after the first chapter. Barry is NOT a main character. He needs to remain a supporting character because he is BORING. I don't care about Moira. Claire? She's awesome like always. What was the story about, again? Also, why is this crap treated like a TV series? The episodic nonsense was annoying in 1 and it adds to my dislike for it. I do have to admit however, that I like the monster design (although whoever created 'Glasps' needs to get their nuts tightly 'grasped')
My recommendation is solely for Raid Mode. It is far better than Rev1 and has a ton of replay value. You can literally just buy this game for Raid Mode. Do that.
TL; DR I do not like this quite as much as its predecessor, but it is still a great game, and fun for a couple of playthroughs. This is due in part to the partner system, the way that each character complements their friend, and have unique mechanics, but also the quite stellar enemy design, and worthwhile story.
I crave spinoff titles for my favourite IPs.
Note that this takes place in-between the fifth and sixth games.
Story
Moira did not follow in Barry Burton’s footsteps, instead of joining the BSAA like everyone else she joined Terra Save to work alongside Claire Redfield. They are a real up-and-coming organisation, and soon they might even compete in the big leagues, so things are going well, and they are all happily celebrating their successes. Surely, nothing, will go wrong, surely, they will not get attacked and kidnapped.
Terra Save! Because “Terr” doesn’t have to end with “rist.”
Revelations 2 is a short title told in an episodic format, but while its predecessor felt more like a TV-series this is more like a mini-series with fewer instalments but with a similar total length.
This works well to tell a more self-contained story and is a great opportunity to catchup with Barry and Claire as well as exploring certain ideas introduced in previous games, so, yeah, this is proper territory for a spinoff title.
If you wish you can even play the Extra Episodes, they do a good job of bridging narrative gaps, as well as explaining some mysteries left behind after the completing the campaign. The Struggle is the most entertaining of the two, but I cannot talk about them since that would spoil the entire game.
However, there is one issue I have with Revelations 2, the supporting cast is just sort of bad? In Revelations 1 we met some ridiculous characters but at least they were entertaining, and had some depth, here, they are just not that good, nor is there more than one or two notes to them, yet that is not much of a problem…
Since the game focuses on Claire, Moira, Barry, and Natalia, their interactions are great and are the vast majority of the dialogue. Barry and Natalia, is peak dad-game writing, as was the style at the time, while Moira feels like one of the most normal people in the entire series. Yeah, she is still ridiculous, but at least she knows how ridiculous this is. Maybe it is not normal that we will find the exact spare parts we are looking for in this exact village.
I should say something of the Overseer as well, she is a Franz Kafka fan, but not as extreme as anyone in the previous title, so no, unfortunately Kafka’s writing does not permeate Revelations 2 in the most heavy-handed of ways, and I cannot help but feel that that is unfortunate.
Of course, there are plenty of references, and some are very explicit, but in Revelations 1 you always knew when they were making a reference, it was almost impossible to miss, and that is the sort of subtlety you usually see in Resident Evil, these references are just too well integrated, I wish there was more hamminess to it.
Presentation
Revelations 2 takes place on an industrial isle but it manages to have some environmental diversity, torture prisons and torture factories blend together but that means that the foggy, green thickets and the anarchic city streets stick out more and that gives you some reason to appreciate them.
Of course, this is a Resident Evil game, so there are also laboratories and some overdesigned, nouveau riche interiors. However, the best areas are only in Barry’s episodes, you can see some genuinely unsettling and disturbing visuals, even though they lack the gore of other locations they are still far more disturbing, because it is proof that you are not the only ones on the island.
As for the enemies, they are sort of a mixed bag, they are split in two varieties and you only fight one type per character, so Claire will always be fighting the Afflicted who generally look pretty generic and boring—they are your average infected with weapons—on the other hand we have the Revenants and they are far more interesting…
They are different bodies stitched together, limbs of differing sizes and shapes, multiple heads sewn as one, their flesh affixed with weapons, very visually striking, though not quite as disgusting as the bloated, insectoid Glasps.
I do not have a lot to say on the OST, it is good, and works well for the game, but on the whole, it does not stick out as especially remarkable, it blends, and heightens the atmosphere, which is good because it does not detract from the game.
Theme of Barry, however, is probably my favourite track in the game, it is sad, and heavy, perfectly illustrating how Barry is feeling. He regrets his actions as a father, their strained relationship, and how he has acted in the past, and now she is lost, and he does not know whether she is safe or not.
Gameplay
If you have played a 3rd person Resident Evil game you know what to expect, you fight enemies, conserve ammunition and explore a little bit.
I found that this entry could have done with a few more puzzles as most of what we get boils down to finding the key item or moving a box to the proper location. Revelations 1 was quite light on them as well but not to this extent, and it also had a bigger focus on exploration.
Having the missions be so linear is a bit of a letdown as well however, if you are going to do levels in an episodic format this is probably a good way to do it.
An episode takes place on the same selection of maps but Claire and Barry venture through them in different ways, sometimes the opposite direction which means it does not feel repetitive.
A couple others things makes it better than it otherwise might have been, there are unique areas for each character, and sometimes (once or twice) they are quite expansive and even the majority of the entire episode but there is also the fact that sometimes your choices affect the other character.
Claire can do things that makes Barry's episode easier or harder, and it usually comes with some sort of payoff.
However, they also brought wholesale improvements, the partner system is an actual system now with each character having different playstyles to complement their friends. Moira does not shoot but she has a flashlight to stun enemies, Natalia can throw bricks and see through walls and skin. That seems pretty useful!
This all means you will switch between characters to make the best use of their differing abilities as you go, though you will be primarily playing as Claire or Barry during shootouts. Or during the stealth sections, as they are the only ones who can preform takedowns, however, have no fear! There is no mandatory stealth, it is only used to conserve your ammunition… unless you play the Extra Episode Little Miss.
A system like this really lends itself to co-op, but unfortunately they did not think too far ahead, this was released at the death of local co-op games so they will allow that but not the more readily usable system of online play.
It is quite unfortunate because desperately trying to point out the literally invisible Glasps or the weak spots of Revenants would make for some very hectic and memorable moments, it is a real missed opportunity that three is no online co-op for Revelations 2...
RAID MODE
Raid mode! It has coop!
They even let you play levels from Resident Evil 6 which adds some much-needed level variety, unfortunately I do feel that this is a bit of a downgrade from the previous instalment.
The fact is that the enemy variety is not necessarily there, they feel varied because they require a multitude of strategies but neither bosses nor mobs are as engaging and memorable to fight as the sort of encounters from the previous games. If you like them you get a lot of content, if you do not, then you do not.
First off, the game was a black screen with the menu music. Had to spend some time looking up YT videos - almost gave up until I tried turning the compatibility settings to Windows Vista. Not sure if that made it work, but I had a black screen again - went to alt+tab and suddenly the game worked normal.
I'm only an hour into the game, so far I'm enjoying the survival, the storyline and the gameplay without any major complaints.
I tell you what - I beat Revelations 1 all the way back in 2013 - the game was terrible. Literally only beat it for the storyline and threw that game AWAY. It's taken me 11 years to finally try the second because of the nonsense. So far this game seems enjoyable with Claire and Barry!
I LOVE the AI coop play - really makes the game fun to have a teammate to run straight into the horror and switch it up when needed. Claire doesn't look perfect in the facial features but you can tell the character is her overall. Very excited that a veteran STARS member is in the game. The controls are perfect. Cool upgrades to weapons and skill sets.
Biggest complaints are I don't have a large map, even when I found a map - it was a current location HUD. Absolutely annoyed that I can't save the game - I have to hope I'm at some unaware "checkpoint." None of the DLC costumes are cool to put on except Moria looks roughed up. Speaking of DLC - this game was chapters you had to buy - so there is NO GAME to buy and have "extra content" it's pay more to play the game. Why is it an option to buy chapters?????
I'll update later.
When I bought this on-sale, there wasn't anything about it being only the first episode. The way it was advertised was the whole package. I'm not spending another $25 on this trash.
Chapter 4 Bug... anyone else have it?
I'm playing on PC and on the part where Barry and Natalia go down the elevator after the gas part there's this gate that when Barry tries it says "No record located". Natalia says she remembers the machine and asks if she can try, but it won't let me try on her... when I switch to her it is not clickable and I'm stuck on this part 2024 nov 24 still no fix for this bug what the hell
This game is the equivalent to a six course dinner of lukewarm oatmeal.
It commits the worse sin in gaming--which is NOT being a bad game--it's actually a competent game. But it has NO SOUL.
Despite this game having a lot of the DNA of RE4, a game I adore---it removes all personality, atmosphere, and vibes. CAN YOU SAY BLAAAAAAAND?
For Pete's sake, the gameboy color RE game, RE Gaiden was more memorable than this.
Where's Shinji Mikami when you need him?
Game tries different things from other resident evils so I liked it, last of us was better than that especially about the mechanics but it's not a bad experience so there is no reason to try it. 7/10
Used to play this game non-stop in 2015 on the PS3. Loved every second of it, especially raid mode.
Honestly, raid mode could have its own separate game and I'd buy it... that's how fun it is (for me).
Really old but good game if urconsidering geting this game GET IT NOW!!!!!
This game is one of the best Resident Evil Games control wise, highly recommend raid mode within the game if you agree!
One of the best Resident Evil game I have ever played.
Fun game, great atmosphere- and probably paved the way for the great 'RE 7: Biohazard'; but- fuck Kafka. Get outta here with that shit.
Its a great Resident evil game. Like in Revelations 1, there are a plenty of scare and disgusting enemies yet, unlike Rev1, this game has elements of survival horror. Game really has a place in a franchise but it does feel like a great spin off, not a main game, but this is how future Residnet Evils are suppose to be done.
Gameplay feels like Revelations 1 but there are 2 timelines each set 6 months apart. Throughtout of episodes, those timelines "cross" eachother and leads you toward the truth behind everything. Mechanincs are from Revelations 1 but you control 2 players at once. It is interestingly done. Can those "2 characters, one player" mechanics be done better, probably. Am I going to complain about how are done, no. Its easy to play and gives you another perspective.
Raid mode, on the other hand, is based on Revelations 1 raid mode but executed on another level. Gun play is little slower that some 3rd person shooter but levels and enemies are from whole franchise and you will have a lot of hours of fun there. Its a great fun either solo, a friend or random stranger who joined your party
Couldn't like it, is too easy. Split screen is too small. Feels unpolished. worst until now . Felt like a shore to play it. Did like The chapter story telling though.
I got this game because I enjoyed RE Revelations (1) so much, and this was on sale for like 2 bucks or something. I'll go ahead and say the same thing others have, in that I didn't expect the purchase of the game would not buy me the entire thing as it is sold in episodic releases, and to buy the game is only to buy the first episode of four.
But besides that, it's just nowhere near as fun as the first. There are a lot more places where it feels like things are highly contrived (sure that's the norm for RE games but just to an elevated level here). The guns are.... fine, upgrading guns is.... fine, but it's also one of those games where it feels like you HAVE to look things up in order to get them, and you don't know what medals there are until you complete someone's section of the episode. I didn't even know about the special bugs you can find / destroy until sometime towards the end of episode 2. It's like the company really just wants you to replay everything multiple times for multiple reasons, etc, again just too much. Too much meta gaming going on and just not enough fun for me. Sorry~
Oh right, and there's way more cursing than I'm used to in RE games, it's just overkill.
Good balance between shooting and exploration and playing with two characters but does not feel and belong to Resident Evil universe ,best part playing with BARRY and little Girl ....its toooooo dramatic like TV show ....and they used greedy why make people but episods ....so buy it on high discount only

Decent
Summary
Actually one of the only Resident Evil games I really liked funnily enough, despite owning them all. RER2 is cool but the episodic format on steam was nightmarish to me when I started it. Each episode was priced at $12 and I simply couldn't afford a +$60 game at the time. I ended up getting a few of the episodes but I haven't managed to beat the game yet since I couldn't afford the rest. Terrible model for selling the game. But now it's all $4 and I think that's fair. It's a fun treat if you like Resident Evil games and i think it has some really cool puzzles from my memory.
Very disappointing sequel to rev 1. Pretty much everything about it is bad, skip this one
good game raid mode is amazing
Alright, so far its a decent storyline but there are a few things I cant understand with Moira. If your life is depending on it you wont use a gun? okay objects can come in handy, but a gun has range and wont get you f***ed up in a second. (keeps bugging me) 2nd problem is the camera, the way you move around with it just doesnt feel right to me its like most older games just weird. When running the camera is just glitchy if your using WASD and mouse, the keys are slowing the camera and mouse does it faster but i use the keys for better movement with it (dont know if that makes sense but it just does to me) just not a fan of the camera movment. (not sure if this can be changed in settings but my first time playing). Settings are also weird I set refresh rate at my 100hz but I cannot change the fps to 100 it just sticks at 60? I dont know if thats just how it is in game, but also some of the controls im not a fan of for instance… The run button, what game makes Alt the run button? Just feels inconvenient and makes me stretch my finger more. These are the things I do like; The fact you get to swap between 2 different characters and they both have their different uses, getting to swap items between the two instead of one joint inventory system and the combat system where the flashlight is in the monsters face and they get kicked from the other girl. Overall I would say the game is worth the price I paid, which was 1-2 pounds I believe. It may be an older game but there are older games than this that clear by farrr. ( I do like it overall)
One of the best (and most underrated) Resident Evil games, directed by Yasuhiro Anpo, the same person who would later co-direct the remakes of RE2 and RE4, mind you. It has decent characters (it’s still Resident Evil, not Shakespeare), interesting gameplay ideas, and a good horror atmosphere (especially noteworthy after the missteps of the PS3 era).

One fine chapter of the Resident Evil lore, this time featuring Claire and some nice new characters (one of them a bit unexpected). The gameplay and game controls, however, are just as scuffed and frustrating as always, and if you're playing on keyboard and mouse, the sensitivity adjustments are very poor, so even the lowest settings can still be too high for some players. Go for the achievements if you have the patience to deal with the classic problems or stay on lower difficulty if you're in it just for the lore. All in all, a pleasant experience in general.
A good campaign, well paced. But, for me, I way prefer the Raid Mode mini-games... They are just immense fun, short & sweet.

Fun spooky game with a lot of disgusting things going on in it and some chick that used to be hot 8/10
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - A Gripping Tale of Zombies, Island Vacations, and Barry Burton’s Dad Jokes
Rating: 7.5/10
If you’ve ever dreamed of being stranded on a creepy island with more viruses than a 2000s Windows computer, then Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is the game for you. It's got everything: mutated monsters, creepy children, overly dramatic villains, and Barry Burton reminding you why he’s everyone's favorite grizzled dad. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is it weirdly fun? You bet.
The Plot:
The game follows two storylines: Claire Redfield and Moira Burton (Barry’s daughter) trying to escape from an island prison filled with horrors, and Barry Burton, who arrives six months later to do what dads do best—rescue his kid while complaining about the mess. Oh, and there’s a mysterious little girl named Natalia who may or may not be creepier than the actual monsters.
Pros:
Barry Burton’s Dad Energy: If you didn’t love Barry before, you will now. His one-liners and gruff concern for his daughter make him the MVP. Also, he packs a magnum, so he’s basically an unstoppable dad-bod with a gun.
Co-Op Action: Nothing says bonding like teaming up with a friend to fight off hordes of mutated monsters and yelling at each other to pass the herb. The perfect activity for a Friday night in.
Survival Horror Feels: The game does a good job of blending tension with action. Dark, creepy environments with limited resources give off that classic Resident Evil panic, while the jump-scares remind you that you should never let your guard down.
Two-Way Tag Team: Claire and Moira or Barry and Natalia each have unique abilities, so you’ll be switching between characters a lot. Claire gets to shoot stuff, while Moira... waves a flashlight and swears a lot. Natalia sees through walls like some kind of supernatural security camera. Yay teamwork!
Monsters Everywhere: The enemy designs are delightfully gross. If you’ve ever wanted to fight monsters that look like they’ve spent way too long in a blender, here’s your chance.
Cons:
Moira and Her Fear of Guns: Moira refuses to use guns because of , which is fine... except when you’re surrounded by zombies and she’s waving a flashlight around like it’s a laser pointer. You’ll be like, “Girl, PLEASE, grab a gun and HELP.”
Natalia Is Creepy AF: Barry’s little sidekick can sense enemies through walls, which is cool, but she also stares at things like she’s seen into the void and the void stared back. Why does she give off ghost-child vibes? Because she probably is one.
Repetitive Puzzles: You like pushing crates and unlocking doors with power drills? You’re in luck, because that’s about half the puzzles in this game. Prepare for crate-pushing glory.
The Villain’s Monologues: The main villain, Alex Wesker, has taken the whole “I’m a mad scientist” thing to an extreme. Expect long, philosophical speeches about fear and viruses, which you’ll tune out after the first few minutes. Get to the part where we shoot zombies, Alex.
Episode Structure: The game is split into four episodes, and while it’s a cool throwback to episodic horror shows, it can break the flow of the story. Also, cliffhangers are just rude when you’re fighting for your life.
Final Verdict:
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is like a weird blend of survival horror, soap opera family drama, and a buddy-cop movie where one of the cops is a cranky dad and the other is his supernatural child sidekick. It’s not perfect, but it’s packed with enough campy dialogue, intense monster fights, and Barry Burton dad moments to keep you entertained.
Pro Tip: If you're not here for the horror, at least stay for Barry's magnificent one-liners.
Good story and horror game.
Excellent asymmetrical coop Resident Evil featuring Claire (RE2), Barry (RE1), his pottymouth daughter Moira, and a mysterious young girl. It serves as a stand-alone game in the RE universe featuring new and returning characters, and does not tie in with the first Revelations game. Its episodic nature works fine to separate the two different paths you will be following (Claire+Moira / Barry+Natalia), somewhat how RE2 does Game A and B with Leon and Claire.
First episode is overall okay. The fact you need to buy all episodes is scummy. Shame on me for not reading on what I was getting. Took about 2 hours to finish the first episode from the base game. Only buy if it is heavily discounted.
A very streamlined RE experience with longer levels than its portable predecessor. Takes some notes from Last Of Us to deliver a very narrative heavy story with lots of familiar characters. Definitely a healthly part of a spooky breakfast
This and the first one are probably the most underrated Resident Evil games to ever exist if you ask me. The Raid mode has infinite amount of hours you can grind into it by building guns up, levelling up characters, and unlocking all the skills for everybody, too. Which believe me... is not an easy task and it'll take you 1000s of hours to get all of that done.
The storyline in this game, too, is one of the strongest storylines I've seen in any RE game. Alex Wesker is great final boss and the mechanics they risked in this title I wish was used more of their titles (or at least give us a Revelations 3). All the sleepless nights just playing through this game on Xbox 360... What an amazing/unique game this was/still is till this day.
If bought on sale, congratulations! Definitely a huge steal with the amount of hours you can simply get out of $5.00.
10/10 game for sure! Sadly Capcom won't ever make anything this amazing ever again...
So I thought I was big-brained when I bought this, thinking I got the WHOLE game, only to find out they hit me with that "You were almost a Jill sandwich" move by only giving me episode 1. Like, what is this, Capcom? A demo?
But nah, jokes aside, I went ahead and grabbed all the chapters ‘cause I ain’t tryna pull a Leon running low on ammo situation here. And once you’re in, man, the game’s a vibe. Claire’s out here throwing hands with zombies like, “I survived Raccoon City, what’s good?” And Barry? My man’s over there like, “Where’s the damn comms tower?”
But lemme tell you, paying per episode? That’s some Merchant energy “What’re ya buyin’? Oh, the rest of the game? That’ll be extra.”
Still, I’m not mad ‘cause once you’re deep into the action, it's all worth it. The gameplay’s 🔥, and the co-op? Just make sure you go all in, or you’ll be stuck looking at the next episode like Wesker staring at a boulder he can’t punch.
So yeah, cop all the chapters upfront, or you’re gonna feel like Chris without his protein shakes.
Ported and optimised as well as Alex Wesker mental state.
It was good, but the end was disappointing. Ik its for the plot, but i wanted a happy end.
Overall its good but old, so difficulties are guaranteed.
Revelations 2 is a good deal of fun to me. The story is fine, but the Raid Mode is very addicting. I already went hard on a console version so I haven't quite maxed out on Steam in the same way. Might go back to do it again, though.
SO it turns out that u need to buy every single chapter... i bought the game for like a dollar/euro on sales thinking its the whole game cause no where does it mention only ch1. Yeah so could have gotten smth else rather than this :///
Game play is pretty solid for a TPS it does feel like a resident evil close to RE4 but you have a partner that makes it a bit obnoxious because the enemy targets the AI partner often and to find spare items or "lock pick" chests you have to use them the game will feel like you have no true direction with out reading the notes though in the long run it sucks you have to buy episodes so if you're looking a reviews honestly spring for the "bundle" it will save you money in the long run not a bad game though
