The true courses of the roads have been designed in an unbelievable graphical detail. For the first time ever the technical aspects of a bus simulator have been modeled and are based on a real training simulator making the driving characteristics absolutely realistic.
The new Citybus Simulator Munich surely sets new standards in terms of graphics for simulation and comes with unique elements making it a fun to play game. There´s the newly developed vehicle management system for a never before seen level of reality, the “tuning” options for the engine as well as the interactive Traffic Director. Of course you can just drive the MAN Lion´s City Bus to schedule passing the more than 43 detailed sightseeing spots while listening to the original announcements.
All operational elements of the cab are fully functional. The original Munich copilot (electronic assistant) supports the driver at his daily shift and controls (if selected) all passenger info such as the monitor, displays and announcements. The OCC User Interface allows access to the complete game features at all times. Defects and malfunctions on the bus can be simulated in various different ways.

TML very much like The Bus or FernBus for controls but setting up a controller is not so obvious.
The controls are much more involved than newer bus sims like Fernbus. For example, the interior of the bus has 8 or 9 camera positions for different control panels. If you start remapping them, there is no way to set it back to default. This means you can't just get in and drive like you basically can in newer sims. Took me awhile just to figure out how to take the parking break off. A couple functions require hitting 2 keys at the same time. Starting the bus is one, parking break release is another. It took me about 70 minutes to get the bus moving.
It always seems to start at night and it took a bit to get it to start during the day. There are some growing pains. What amazing me is the graphics are better than I expected for a 10 year old game. Plus it has pedestrians. I am going to use it as a walking game just to chill. It has great ambiance and background sounds of people talking and milling around. It does have mouse steering but I will use A/W on the keyboard as I like to use the mouse to look around for greater visibility. Driving will be a challenge.
Get it on a deep discount. Its not work full price anymore with all the other newer bus sims available now. Thinking I will get 10 hours out of it.
