Been reading Lone Wolf adventures and other interactive game books from Joe Dever since childhood. I still find his books awesome to this day. This game captures the same excitement perfectly with combat being just a tad more exhilarating. It is a must for all Lone Wolf fans in my opinion. Just make sure you know how combat works before diving into the game.
I was looking forward to something like the books as I was a huge fan back in the day, but the prose and choices in this iteration were overshadowed by all the quick time events. They happen in combat, during skills usage, and probably others. I stopped playing after the second combat.

A well written and atmospheric adventure. I normally hate quick time events, as they interrupt the normal flow of a game, but by making them the basis of combat a more strategic way of fighting is produced. After a short while, it becomes second nature.
Best of all, as a fan of the original game book series, this is an official part of the saga.
