one of the best DW games you can get on steam. it's great that they introduced hypothetical ending.

If like me you played DW3 back in the day on PS2, then this will somewhat satisfy that thirst to relive those memories. I don't think it's worth the price, so get it on sale if you can, but if you wipe your ass with £20's then go for it.

controller setup is a little jank, but only needs to be sorted out once

The storm rush great addition, but elements should have more emphasis than the heaven man and earth system. DW7 was perfect example of combat, maybe could have added lock on cameras but for the time this was a good upgrade especially for horse riding and other features.

Used to love this game but i think they are so many bs conditions that makes you busy like a sweaty lord in order to meet the IF conditions. So nope.

lost all my progress switching to a new machine :( tons of maxed out characters and a high lvl village :( but that only means ill play the whole game over again with a couch buddy! :) here come many hours of co op fun.

A very poorly executed console port. Xbox one controllers detection in windows 11 doesn't work. I thought because there was a simple controller guide for the game it would be simple to get it to work. Followed a few different guides reinstalled drivers... disconnected most USB devices just in case it was a device limit issue. Tried steam controller override... Nothing worked.

For fun tried a win10 laptop I got it to detect 1 out of two controllers and thats as far as I got with this game. All other games on both the laptop and desktop work fine. Just not this game.

I understand that this an old game. But I believe Koei could fixed a few bugs with the controller, NPC war reaction and game that keep crashing. Hope the Dynasty Warriors: Origins would not repeat the same mistake like this game.

classic dynasty warriors at its finest. ambition mode is pretty cool. i like how every officer can use 2 weapons n we can choose to use any weapon we got.

Not much to be said, this is the best version of any Dynasty Warriors game in my opinion. Stories are fun and engaging, heroes and weapons are unique. Highly recommended if you like the typical 1v1000 genre

I played this when the ps4 was released and was blown away by the enemies on screen and graphical quality .............................. this is the ps3 version/////////////////// less enemies on screen......... bad graphics

I loved Dynasty Warriors to begin with way back, but I recently watched this video my friend made https://youtu.be/NPWiWIgtiXs?si=dNs-WJwKg9exWsbt and it made me want to buy and play the game and I'm glad I did!

I highly recommend it to anybody who likes a classical hack and slash game that enables you to feel like a straight killing machine. The layout and XP/weapons progression in some aspects remind me vaguely of Earth Defense Force as well as in regards to fighting massive swarms of enemies. There's a ton to unlock weapon wise. Even though I think it's an awesome game, I would say that if you do not have a controller, that you should only buy this if you like the idea of solely using your keyboard for everything. The mouse is incompatible and the game won't let you change this either.

One of the Best Dynasty Warriors games

I used this one blue guy that looks like a bootleg Stormtrooper that had an ability where he charges forward like a bull, and with the right skills he wouldn't stop doing it as long as I'm mowing down people. I cleared many maps on the hardest difficulty in minutes while completely annihilating every unfortunate souls that are in my way.

So in short, the game is perfectly balanced. 10/10

trying to get my controller stick calibrated on this ruined my hairline. game is basically unplayable.
