so fun with coop, it has this patriotic vibe from helldivers but more intense. great game to play for 4-5 hours with your friend.
My son and I just beat Broforce, an action packed side scrolling, run + gun game where the fun is the 10s of silly characters and everything is always exploding. This was something we picked up on a whim and it was super fun. It’s both not easy but also not overly punishing. We died a lot. But there’s checkpoints, and you learn the tricks, and it’s just a ton of fun. Everything explodes. You will die in a hundred different ways. You spawn as new characters with different weapons, so every restart, every play is pretty different. It’s purposefully over the top and the characters are based on old movie characters with adapted names, like Indiana Brones, Brobocop, Mr. Anderbro, Brominator and tens more. It was such a blast. Strong recommend, adults and or kids (if you’re okay with shooting violence). It’s good stuff.
Help the Broforce liberate the whole world! FOR FREEEDOOOM!!!

obviously in retro graphics which one has to like, it comes with a lot of cheesy jokes on 'bro'. there's always stuff blowing up and enough confusion, but quiet fun, especially well suited for couch coop!

I tried to find a good game for multi players.But it make me feel disappointed.
Super fun game created with love. It respects your money & your time playing it. I have recommended it to all my friends and they also were into it. The character design is detailed and their abilities are accurate references from the movies or games they are from. Great cozy feel-good and lighthearted game.

I think one of the greatest advantages of the game is the fact that is not boring and you can finish it multiple times. Perhaps due to the multiple characters and the very well created levels.
-Time to Complete: 3-5 hours
It may not seem like a lot of hours, but it fun to play it and it you can play it a lot of times and not getting tired of it.
-Price: Fair
With the hours of pure fun it can provide 15$ is a fair price.
-Requirements: Potato for PC can handle it.
Story: Fun and Lighthearted
Do not expect RDR2 story with this one. It still is a great "Michael Bay"-like narrative and it is developed just beautifully and full with humour.

You know if one day someone would have told me that i would be able to enter a bar and high five Rambo, ripley, the terminator, chuck norris, neo, blade, and ugh i lost the count of all of them...
anyway if you told me the whole cast of hollywood action stars would be my Bros, and we'd go spread some freedom and democracy all around the planet... i'd say you would be selling me something unreal, well here i stand now, with reality within my grasp, and a good time along with it!
Broforce was one of those games that made me nose-dive into the Indie game genre back in the day. At the time, I didn't own a gaming PC, so at one point, I played nothing but indie games because most of them ran on any low-end PC. Unfortunately, I pirated the game, but since then, I have bought it multiple times on 3 different platforms. My furthest run was with my brother on PC back then, but that got surpassed by my brother and our relatives on my PS5 last year (around 53% completed).
Although pirated (back in 2014), my brother and I have been playing it since the alpha's release. We only became interested because it reminded us of "Superfighters," a game we played some years back before Broforce.
Excellent game, super fun! I loved the wordplay with the character names. I had a great time playing with my friends.

It's the manliest game of all time. Each minute played is documented to boost testosterone by 20%. By the time you finish it, you'll be a blob of pure semen ready to explode. Makes you wanna dive headfirst into a sperm bank and chug everything they got. Actually, be right back.

I thought I would try this game as a break from Helldivers 2. While some may like this game, I didn't care for it. Was kind of fun at first but find the game gets really repetitive and frustrating. I'm also not a fan of some of the game play mechanics (e.g. their bodies absorb all your bullets, but their bullets pass through). To be honest, the "bro" voice over gets really annoying after awhile. Glad I didn't pay over $5 for it otherwise I would be really upset. May come back to it on those occasions when I'm really bored, If you like this style of game then enjoy and have fun.

Unusually for me this is going to be an almost unequivocally positive review.
Firstly it isn't quite what you might expect. Your "bros" are pretty squishy and generally one shot or explosion will kill you (I haven't seen Daniel Craig yet - you'll only get that joke if you saw the last Craig Bond).
This is every action movie you ever saw with more gunfire than dialogue filmed by 1950s Warner Brothers. The entire maps are filled with things that explode, enemy (lots of suicide bombers) explode, sometimes your weapons explode. Sometimes you can set off one explosive, duck and cover, and listen as widespread destruction goes through a large section of the map.
This is not a game for people who like precision. The Bros, of which there are a lot, are allocated randomly so sometimes you won't have a perfect set of skills for the map you're facing. The game generally rewards movement and daring over careful strategy. Mobs of enemy can be taken out effectively by landing in the middle of them and running amok with your primary fire button whereas distant engagements can end badly because your character is so squishy. The enemy chuckle when you die and run around in panic when you set them on fire or attach explosives to them which make them fun to kill.
Is this a tribute to action movies or a satire ? It hardly matters. It just hands out enough military hardware to fight several large wars, turns every dial up to 11, and lets rip.
There are tough stages. One Covert, i.e. bonus, level I abandoned when I couldn't manage the jump. A recent encounter with a seriously tough giant boss I won when I somehow became wedged against it right at the bottom of the screen and it couldn't fire at me. After 20+ attempts at that one section I took the win however I could.
Licensing ? The Bros are largely parodies of actual action movie actors and their characters. Schwarzenegger and Stallone get multiple characters. But I wouldn't advise litigation. There are so many Bros that each plays a relatively brief role in each battle. And for a genre that rarely gets Oscar accolades there is a definite honour to being immortalised as a Bro. I'm hoping Carl Weathers gets the Bro recognition that I and several other players nominated him for.
For a player although versatile that generally gravitates towards strategy games and CRPGs a one hit death platformer isn't generally my cup of tea. Super Meat Boy was the one Epic freebie I chose not to take. But this is Michael Bay crossed with Bugs Bunny. It's just as brilliant as that idea sounds. And £2.55 in the sale ? What do you expect the devs to do - give it away ? Very highly recommended.

The fun of this game is seeing what characters you gain. They all have slightly different abilities and shooting styles. But once you're past that, it gets repetitive and hard. Like a Metal Slug game, but with the addition of terrain to make things complicate. It got too hard for me.
