I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

The game is... not good. Buying it for 1€ or something you might feel like you got your money's worth, but personally I'm refunding this. It's like a F2P mobile game but with all microtransaction stuff unlocked...
Got this for 1$ from a coupon great game good time waster graphics are meh but playeable gameplay is fun best weapon imo flamethrower :)
BAD optimization..
Seriously, watch a damn gameplay video of this thing before you consider buying it. The trailer, the screnshots, and especially the promotional artwork sell a very different experience.
Might have been a decent game at a dollar or two, but this thing isn't nearly worth the asking price of five bucks. It's basically a crappy upgrade-fest skinner box with a "fancy" paint 3d paintjob that would have been more at home on 2005-era Newgrounds than a proper Steam release.
Also, it's worth pointing out that the control mapping doesn't seem to actually match the "tutorial" screen- nothing I could do would make a melee attack, and the "melee" button instead did some crappy five-foot teleport dash that leaves your character stunned for a split second afterwords, making it almost worse than useless.
As for the actual game, it appears that the dev put basically no effort into balancing it. I mean, what the hell is wrong with the shotgun? It's barely got enough range to safely take down a single regular zombie outside of its melee range- there's literally no use to it! You can basically insta-win every level by just keeping your flamethrower upgraded and strafing from one side of the arena to the other, and pop off your invulnerability any time you're getting low on ammunition in the tank since it automatically refills it to max.
Anyway, 2/10 overall- it would be fun as a free game on Kongregate or something, or MAYBE a dollar or two at most, but for the asking price there's no way it's worth it.
So I was having fun with this for about an hour mindlessly mowing down zombies, when I go back to the title to see if I could find info on unlocking the challenge stages. Didn't see anything, so I hit Continue to go back, and the game has wiped all of my progression. Sorry, but that's not acceptable for any game of any price. I'll be getting my first refund.
A Woefully boring attempt at a dual stick shooter. There are better free to play games out there, let alone paid games. Skip this one because you're not missing anything.

Fun game, pretty overwhelming because it won't let me buy anything even though I have monies it's irritating, maybe it's an issue with the mac game I don't know :( 6/10
SADLY, NOT WORTH YOUR TIME
I love horror video games. I love all kinds of them, from AAA titles all the way to tiny Indie releases. I even found some small enjoyment playing this game the first time, but upon playing it further, I've rapidly fallen out of love with this game. The worst part isn't that it does anything particularly wrong, it just fails to do much of anything right or original, and gave me no reason to keep coming back. Save your money on this one folks. If you don't believe me, watch my gameplay video and view it as the high-water mark of my experience with the game:

I recommend it!
It's a simple game. You're killing zombie hordes that come in waves in a top-down view. As you progress, the stages are more difficult and there is more variety in the horde of enemies. There are three maps and each has 10 stages with different enemy makeup. Three stages have boss battles, and there are three challenge maps.
A mass of dead has three weapon types, with variants of each type (SMG, Shotgun, Flamethrower). All weapons are upgradeable with a basic upgrade system in place. There is also a variety of equipment upgrades that modify your character slightly, including health points, increased item drop, and increased run speed.
I wish there were more content in the game. More maps and enemy types would go a long way to make the game replayable. It's still pretty mindless fun. It's easy to get into and easy to pick up.

Ugh, Just ugh. Slow movement, absolute horrid zombie AI, Boring game, badly thought out controls, did I say pathetcally slow movement?
