Best game Ska Studios ever made. One of the best hidden gems ever.
Pros
- Controls are fluid and you feel in control. The two characters you can choose from feel different, but both feel good.
- Two characters to play as, each with their own weapon selections to obtain, use and upgrade.
- Brutal executions. Both characters have something better than the other one has, so they're both awesome.
- Collectable Beads with various effects, from making a cowbell sound, to useful stuff like increasing health restoration.
- Challenging, fascinating and every once in a while... wacky enemies and bosses to mane and brutally murder.
- Earning gold to buy upgrades, can be shared between the two characters and playthroughs. You keep what you kill.
- Running faster is done literally by teleporting anywhere and everywhere, over and over at your leisure.
- Better than Dishwasher 1, Dead Samurai in every way, which was already awesome with some minor flaws. The Guitar Hero "zones" have really good music this time too.
- Blood. Lots of blood.

- Still holding out for Dishwasher 3 well after a decade.

What a fun game for only $2 on sale. I love SKA Studios and I loved the style of this game. Playing through with co-op was such a great experience, and I highly recommend this to anyone that wants a short but sweet hack and slash.

The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile is an enjoyable and brutal experience. Despite the somewhat repetitive patterns for the bosses, I didn’t find it to be a deal-breaker. The variety in enemies, mini-bosses, and full bosses is genuinely impressive and keeps the gameplay fresh and exciting!
One slightly disappointing aspect is how costly upgrading can be compared to the amount of currency you earn. However, this doesn’t significantly affect your overall performance, so it’s not a major issue.
I truly love this game, although I’m unsure whether it lacks a save feature or if I simply couldn’t find it. Either way, it wasn’t a problem—I managed to finish it in one session, and it was a fantastic experience!
I hope to play more games like this in the future. I’m still riding the high of its intense and thrilling gameplay!

Ive only played 2.5 hours and this game is awesome. Its not perfect it definitely has issues but by god its fun. The music is awesome, the graphics are gnarly, the characters are badass, it's fucking metal. 4.99/5 so far. Perfect difficulty too, not too hard yet not too easy (playing on Ninja).

Not the deepest brawler but oozes with style. This is a classic from the xbox live arcade era. Play in coop for the full experience.

Bare with me here, so we play as a terrorist escaping from prison on the moon, hacking and slaying away enemies who get in her way, rockin' it out with Guitar Hero mini-game, taking revenge on corporate greed, and later killing her step-brother's dishwater. If you like gruesome, edgy flash games this is it for you.
Extremely cool atmosphere, aesthetic and audio design. Fast paced level progression packed full of action, things ramp up and get really fun near the end. The combat system is pretty flexible, you can use one weapon the whole game or swap between 4 mid fight if you really want to get creative. Glad i picked this up <3
The edgy teenages book come to life. Amazing flash level artwork and the game handles extremely well! Do not let it's art trick you, it's super well put together, honestly this is quickly becoming a fav

the combats great artstyles great bosses are great lore is ok map is ok but damn is this not my type of game i just cant enjoy this kind of game i want to enjoy this but i just cant its notenjoyable for me i know its a good game i like alot of it but i hate this style of combat overall 8/10 i just dont like the combat but its a great game otherwise
It's not the most mechanically satisfying brawler, but it's generally alright. Where it wins you aver is the sheer unrestrained brutality of style and metal energy. Really enjoyed this.

the moon is basically the vampire projects and you have an evil dead chainsaw arm and a minigun and a buster sword and you can do a zangief super to kill paramilitary death squads whats not to love

Amazing game give it a go
This is by far one of the best platformers ever made. The action is intense. The atmosphere is moody. The speed and freedom of movement are unmatched. The combo system is great. This is a must play for all 2d fans.
The only problem is that it's a little short, but still worth every minute. I don't even want to think about how much time I've put into both Dishwasher games between here and on Xbox.
Gameplay is great, combat feels good and responsive. The story is a bit confusing if you haven't played the first one (which isn't on steam so that doesn't help), but it's definitily not the focus here. Visuals are edgy and dark and bloody, and sometimes is hard to see what's happening on screen, but most of the times its fine. Fun game!

Who knew that dishwashing could be so… intense? “The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile” isn’t your average kitchen chore simulator. Instead of scrubbing plates, you’re slicing through enemies like a culinary ninja on a caffeine high.
The game starts with you thinking, “Oh, a dishwasher game, how quaint!” But then, BAM! You’re knee-deep in vampire guts, wielding a cleaver that’s seen more action than a chef at a 24-hour diner. The combat is so fast-paced that you’ll forget you’re supposed to be cleaning up, not creating more mess.
The graphics are a delightful mix of comic book art and a horror movie marathon. It’s like someone spilled red paint all over a graphic novel and decided, “Yeah, this looks about right.” And the story? Well, let’s just say it’s as coherent as a vampire at a garlic festival. But who cares? You’re here for the carnage, not the plot.

massive fan of ska studios work, definitely delivered on this one.
a vampire samurai with a chainsaw arm that can phase through people wielding katanas, shotgun and can summon magic spells.
i mean its the epitome of giving a new grounds developer a bag of cocaine and telling them to make every 12 year old boy's fantasy game.
along with charlie murder this soundtrack is extremely good, some songs i didn't like when it came to the rhythm aspect and i kinda wish there was more catalogue for music in that field as i found myself playing the same songs but it was the occasional 1-2 songs the rest were amazing along with the music during boss fights were very upbeat and added to the theme like peanut butter and jelly.
i wish the original game was on steam as i never got a chance to play it through the xbox and due to the 360s store shutdown playing this game is kind impossible now, it does leave the entire story a bit confusing and lacklustre considering a lot of the story is a follow up to the first game.
overall though i had a lot of fun and found the game pretty challenging at times but overcoming them through learning each weapons ability and the pros and cons, i would say it is a very in the middle game, borderline difficult but with your resources and how you counter the enemy its very much possible and very rewarding.
as i said, i hope that the original comes to steam so i could replay the series again, really enjoyed it.
i recommend this especially if you liked charlie murder.
