Who wouldn't love a Dating Sim, Hack & Slash with an amazing art style
A nice artist and fun hack' n-slash game. But suffers from terrible port syndrome.
A game for all the Gentlemen out there looking to brush up on going on a date. Great training material, demon killer during the day and a pu55y killer by night (that is if you can keep up with the cost of the gifts for the international beauties). No gift no pu55y, probably the most realistic part about this game.
Only gripe I have with this game is that after the consummation scenes they squandered the perfect opportunity to have Mondo say "Pu55y is Dead".

Great gameplay, giggolo missions suck and you only need to do one to unlock the drill and that's it. Can't recommend this version, because of how often it crashes.
Played it on x360, this version too. Everything was fine, no critical bugs etc. Love the game, gameplay, characters. One of my favs.
I'd say it's a 10/10 for me. Perfectly absurd story loving it so far.
You just need to change the entry in KidEngine.ini file then the crashes should be fixed.

This game is fun, stylish and unique! If only I could play without it crashing
i only hit 10h because i afked for like 3h as i ran some errands. aimless and confusing story, and the combat is painfully grasshopper: mashing the primary attack button and only dodging when an enemy is about to swing. if youre interested, get it on a MASSIVE sale, otherwise skip.
Anime mafia
Genuinely the most broken PC port I've ever played, and I played Kane & Lynch 2. Second stage has a reliable crash at a specific point in an early cutscene that I had to look up a solution to on Reddit that involved directly editing the game's run files. I somehow managed to accomplish this, but in the following stage, entering a room started playing an ear-piercing sound effect that was blasted directly into my headphones at max volume and proceeded to never go away. A quick google reveals that people are receiving a consistent crash in the 3rd stage on any cpu that uses a multi-core processor.
tl;dr- I'm legitimately shocked this can be legally sold, the game seems neat but the port itself feels practically non-functional if these crashes are this consistent.
Super fun! Getting good at the mechanics isnt too hard, and is very rewarding. A lot of reviews mention the crashing and low frame rate, i experienced these too, however, both can be fixed by editing INI settings. In the guides and discussion sections i've found people who are pretty helpful with this sort of thing.
All style no substance. This fraud of a game does NOT deserve having the name Mondo in it....

Gorgeous game. Crazy story with great humor and even depth, if you can see through all the stereotype virtuosity. Brilliant bosses. Superb production design. Tight, challenging, rewarding and fair gameplay with enough distractions from the perfectly executed hack and slash to never get boring. Unbelievably fantastic art style. Every still could be blown up as a wall sized piece of art. I love it.

One the best games in the world, love it to it's core. A must play if you love fast past action games when timing is everything. This game is not for babies who cry when they see boobs, so if you don't like that, don't play it.

I'll talk briefly about this game as i have played a bit more than i should have. Starting with combat, it feels smooth, as you get a higher combo count you do more damage and attack faster also changing how you attack with each stage of combo, attacking enemies with high combo allows you to execute them but getting hit cancels your combo, it's hella satisfying to keep a high combo count specially on higher difficulties when you can't one shot everything, the dodge mechanics is nice and getting a perfect dodge triggers a time stop that does tons of damage and looks cool. boss fights are unique and can feel genuinely hard on highers difficulties, even more so if you're going for AAA.
About the game story i won't talk about it in details, it does struggle to get its main points across and the story can feels rushed at times, though the game runs short with only 6-8 hours of main story, i think it ties nicely at the end, it isn't the best but i think you could have fun with it if you don't take it too seriously, also mondo is a badass.
The game art is beautiful, it's visually appealing even if it is a 11 year old game, it has some really cool scenes and imagery example being episode 5 (even if it's a chore to get through it with slow ass mondo) or when you kill hamada-yama and help him commit seppuku (in game) , though level design can be a bit confusing at times, the mansion in episode 4 being an example of that.
I don't find the game ost particularly remarkable, so i don't have much to say about it.
As others may have pointed out, the game does not have higher than 1080p support and the game is capped at 30 fps at all times, you can uncap your fps and change resolution by tweaking game files, but doing so will break all qte's in the game as they are fps reliant, so 144 fps makes qte and button mash impossible, also may crash your game on certain levels.
If you don't mind some of the game flaws like some characters that aren't really explored, 1080p 30 fps cap, and although rather short the game is a blast to play and i highly recommend it, not for full price tho, get it on sale, also, play on hard mode.

Game desperately needs a patch. No 60 fps or 1080p is not okay anymore. Its a great game, so I recommend buying this on Xbox 360 for about the same price and enjoy it that way.

I played this in the Steam Deck, had to edit the engine.ini and then run it with proton experimental to stop it from crashing every 20 minutes. Technical issues issues aside, a absolutely loved this game. The combat was really cool and I like Suda51's work in general.
Literally was loving this game, got around 70% finished, side content included, but every so often after a boss the game just crashes and it forces you to re-fight a multi-health bar boss. The story is wild and all over the place, but the art-style and mini games kept it funny and enjoyable. Literally the crashes kills this non-graphical game for me.
I did get it for 1.99 so it wasn't a big deal. I'd recommend if they fix the crashing.
Really fun gameplay (hack&slash) especially when you get a bunch of upgrades unlocked. Be warned, the game may start to crash around Mission 7 when you finish a level, causing you to have to repeat the boss fight over again to progress. The only work around I could find was changing my settings to 720p with no v-sync. Aside from that, it's a silly romp for 12 missions (plus some side content) in the style of No More Heroes. If you like that kind of thing, I recommend it. I picked it up for $2 so I can't really complain about the crashing or length.

But it is 2024 and modern mid range machines can easy run this game over 100fps.
Needs attention and immediate patch from the developers.
Max Resolution is 1050p and frame rate is 30fps. Very pixelated on my 17ich 1440p 165hz laptop.
Please patch the game!
