Still. Not. Bitten. Luke to Clementine, moments before crossing the bridge. wrote: What's the most important thing in this world? Clem, it's family! Kenny to Clementine, begging her to stay at Welligton with AJ. wrote: You'll meet people. You'll make friends — people better than me. Good people, that they don't have to look at you and feel ashamed at what they put you through. Please, Clem, please — where you won't have to sleep with a gun next to you every night. Where you can be a kid for a while... Just take the kids, please! Just take the kids. It's too dangerous out here for them.
It broke my heart every time they mentioned Lee.
I love you so, so much, Kenny.
You may hear that The Walking Dead suffers from technical issues.
You may hear that this particular season isn't the best—though I firmly disagree.
You may even hear that The Walking Dead isn't truly a game.
Or that Telltale didn’t know how to make games at all.
That’s what I heard too. But I chose to play it anyway.
And how was it, you might ask?
It’s one of the greatest series of all time.
If you haven’t played it—if others have discouraged you—don’t listen to them.
The Walking Dead (and not just this entry) has made me cry like a child, with a lump in my throat, overwhelmed by emotion, every single time I’ve returned to it—both as a teenage girl and as an adult. Many times.
And it stands as one of the only series—alongside The Last of Us Part I and Life is Strange—that has ever moved me so deeply.
So, please: buy it. Experience one of the most powerful journeys ever offered through games.
Because The Walking Dead Seasons 1, 2, and 4 are true masterpieces.
Thank you, Telltale, for giving me such a beautiful, moving story—one that taught me so much about love and family whilst growing up in my adolescence. You have no idea how much I needed that… and just how much it meant to me. You touched the heart of a girl who has now grown into a woman—in ways I can’t even begin to describe. You changed me for the better.

Okay? This is the right decision. Okay? Right. When he's grown, you tell him about his mommy and his daddy and all the people — people who tried to keep him safe. You tell him, okay? He deserves to know.
I got — uh — oh. Here, here, take this. When he — when he's old enough, you make him wear it. It'll — it'll keep the sun out of his eyes. That's important. All right. Good. Keep an eye out for him.
Please, now — you take care of Alvin here. You — you live a good life. Okay? Don't waste this. Okay? Now I'm going to go. I'm going to go before one of us — before one of us changes their mind. Now I'm going to walk away. And I might not look back — not 'cause I don't want to. I'm real glad to have met you, Clementine.
such a great continuation of Clementine's story. Would say that it beats season 1 tho. Got some flaws, but overall, pretty good.
8/10
Absolute Cinema. Every man has to play
Still. Not. Bitten.
Telltale Games.
Part two of The Walking Dead game series just didn’t hit as hard for me as part one did. Maybe that’s because I was so attached to Lee. His character, his presence, and the way he protected Clementine made the first season unforgettable. So when I started playing as Clem in part two, it just didn’t feel the same.
Don’t get me wrong I love Clementine. I loved her in both part one and part two. But as a playable character, at least in the beginning, she didn’t connect with me in the same way Lee did. Lee had this grounded strength, a sense of responsibility and emotional depth that really pulled me in. Clem, on the other hand, is still growing, and while that’s part of the story’s appeal, it also means she feels a bit less impactful at least at first.
That said, there are still two more games to go, and I’m hopeful.
A game that definitely influences Clementine's character development.
My god was this game emotionally harrowing, but beautiful. Poignant, with such charming characters.... and the greatest child protagonist in gaming.
Characters are pretty weak and whiny, personally I think its so bad its good so i'm having fun with it. Clem's character doesn't suffer but its weird how everyone treats her like an Adult. Feel bad for Omid and Christa's character, its wasted potential and Clem has been with Christa for a year yet she has nothing to say about their relationship which is an odd choice. It would've been better to keep them in the story for a little longer at least.
You can tell the writers were struggling on season two just by the "choices" that matter in comparison to 1. Kenny and Clem saves the story for me personally. As a game is not the best, probably the weakest of TWD telltale series BUT if you're into getting the entire TWD experience its necessary to play season two so it passes, I'd give the game a C+. It passes but it is the weakest of the series.
weaker than the first season but still a great game - i recommend this
hello my name is kenny i think i did a pretty good job
Cant beat Season 1, but worth playing.
Game was about as good as the 1st one I wish there was more memories of Lee but that one memory was overall really cool and felt really Nice to see Lee wit Clem again. Either way i really like what this game did for its story For a follow up 9/10 A good follow up for The Walking Dead.

If you have played the season 1 you will know what I am talking about. You CAN'T FUCKING REWIND IN THIS EDITION. YOU HAVE TO PLAY FROM THE BEGINNING IF YOU MADE ANY MISTAKE OR WANT TO CHANGE YOUR DECISION. THIS FUCKING SUCKS. DON'T BUY THIS EDITION IT SUCKS
This game was just as good as the first one. Characters are so well developed and the plot is well written.
It's a rare thing when a sequel completely surpasses the first title. This is one of these cases.
I honestly liked the characters in this game
clementine, you will always be famous
if u kill kenny at the end of this game i dont trust u at all mf 3 kenny is my dad bro hes so amazing and he didn't leave aj in the cold like bitchass jane did like tf
I have never seen a group of GROWN ADULTS rely on an 11 year old like these fools did...
the end was fucking amazing
good and very sad at the end. a bit too fast so the first one is definetly better, but still its a story and it has to continue
Lee and Kenny the goat i farted at the end of this on to the next
The Telltale Walking Dead games really capture the essence of the series and are enjoyable to boot. They are really short, but there are enough seasons that it turns out okay anyways. It is interesting to play through the series and see the main protagonist, Clementine, grow and mature.
Another great game, honestly i love these types of games where your choices affect the story. in this case i hate how people die no matter what you choose and there was one part where i messed up so badly i had to delete my save file and restart the last chapter. overall 10/10
What really makes season 2 amazing is the fact that your decisions in season 1 carry out in small ways. Sure, you have the obvious decisions, but I mean the times when Lee would give advice or guidance to Clem and we see her take those lessons into account when making decisions in season 2. You also have the option of not following the advice Clem was given, but that would put her in more danger then you really need to put her in.
Lastly.....the departure from Kenny made me sob. The ending of season 1 did too, but Kenny was our last tie to the beginning of everything. He was such a good dad and even though he came into some really dark places, hes human and went through awful trauma. We should have a bit more compassion. I ended up deciding for Clem and AJ to go into Wellington so I hope I see him again one day....
don.t know many games that are like this. Most other story games dos not capture the I guess the zombie survival feel like this games does.
This game is for everyone who has played Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season 1—it's truly amazing. It's a huge step up from Season 1, with new characters, new locations, and of course, better graphics.
The story is AMAZING. Whenever I replay all of the Telltale’s The Walking Dead games, I always enjoy Season 2 the most—it's my absolute favorite out of the entire series.
My overall rating: 10/10.
Season 2 is genuinely one of the best sequels I’ve ever played. Everything that was great about the first game is still there, but it takes everything to the next level. The emotional weight, the tough decisions, and the deep character development are all developed really nicely.
In my opinion, Season 2 is the best game of the whole Walking Dead franchise, and by a lot. It builds on the first game in such a meaningful way, making it even more impactful and unforgettable.
I am definitely in the minority with this, and I expect a lot of people to disagree with me, but I honestly cannot recommend this game. I love the franchise, but the writing and idiocy of the characters made the game unbearable to play. It really breaks emersion when a 10 year old kid is the wisest and most capable character in the group. It was so bad that I almost gave up on the franchise entirely. I would skip this chapter and look up a recap. It is enraging to play and a wast of time imo.
This game does a really good job at continuing the story. I have heard some people trash on Season 2, but I honestly find this to be amazing. Is it better than the first? Well I actually don't think so. But it isn't worse either, it is on par with the first. I will also say that this game improves in certain aspects, where it shines, in my opinion, is how it shows the desperateness and brutality of their situation. Not to mention, the ending makes you feel fucking awful no matter which decision you make, but it isn't a bad ending, it is VERY bittersweet. Genuinely amazing.
for Clem
head like a peach
rolled into apocalypse
grown tough through tragedies
left survival as only lead
moving forward sets you free
but keep in mind all those dear
detached to all rough scenes
you get to see what truly is
most adults in this game are either incompetent, irrational, or die stupidly.

One of the best games I have ever player. Right now, it is my third favorite game of all time. The Walking Dead Season 1 is actually my top 1.
AfterSeason 1, Season 2 throws you into Clem’s shoes and forces you to survive a world whole of liars, cowards like actual dumbass-s, and absolute psychos. The writing’s sharp, Clem is a total badass, and every choice feels like a vice holding your balls.
Incredible story, unforgettable moments, and enough emotional damage to last a lifetime. Play it. Now I am pretty numb to most emotional stuff. So this game didn't make me feel very emotional or sad. But I can see the appeal in how it can be emotional to others. So if you want a game that might make you unhappy, then go ahead. Play S1 First though ofc. This season is super valuable to the first one.
Not as good as the first one, but I couldn't leave without figuring out what happened to Clem. 9/10 game.
I like the game play and how they updated he controls like how you hold and drag or the arrow thing. My only problem is they left out important details in the beginning what happened to Christa's baby that makes Clementine say "No. not again."? At the last episode or what happened to Christa after the woods? But overall a good game if you want to know what happens in new frontier and if you want to play them in order if your new.

"The Walking Dead: Season Two" by Telltale Games continues the narrative that began in the first part, immersing us in a dark and emotional atmosphere full of dangers and unexpected plot twists.
In this game, we meet again with Clementine, an orphaned girl whom we protected in the previous season. Now she has to make difficult decisions on her own, fight for her life in a world populated by the walking dead and people no less dangerous than zombies.
The plot of the second season focuses on Clementine's growing up under constant threat. She has to learn quickly, adapt, and make decisions that determine her fate and the fate of others. The story is full of unexpected twists, tragic events and moral dilemmas that make the player constantly doubt the correctness of their actions.
In The Walking Dead: Season Two, the characters are perhaps its strongest point. The new characters that appear on Clementine's path are carefully crafted and have unique characters and motivations, which allows us to become attached to them, empathize with their sufferings and rejoice in their small victories.
The dynamics of the relationship between Clementine and the other members of the group are constantly changing depending on our decisions, which gives depth and realism to what is happening.
The gameplay in The Walking Dead: Season Two differs little from the previous season. It's an interactive movie in which we spend most of our time exploring locations, interacting with characters, and making important decisions in dialogues and critical situations. QTE scenes are present, but do not overload the gameplay.
The Walking Dead: Season Two is a game in which player choice plays a key role. The decisions we make during the game have a significant impact on the plot and the relationships between the characters. The consequences of our actions can be unexpected and sometimes painful, which makes the gaming experience truly memorable.
The visual and audio aspects of the game are done at a high level. The visual style, made using the cel-shading technique, creates the atmosphere of the comic and perfectly conveys the gloomy tone of the game. The character models are detailed, and the locations look atmospheric and believable.
The soundtrack is also highly appreciated. The musical design perfectly emphasizes the emotional moments, and the voice acting of the characters is done at the highest level. The actors' voices perfectly match their characters and add depth to their characters.
The Walking Dead: Season Two is a worthy sequel to the cult story of survival in a world gripped by a zombie apocalypse. The game offers players a tense plot, memorable characters, and a multitude of moral dilemmas that make them think about the value of life and what it means to be human in the midst of hopeless chaos.
Positive:
- An exciting and emotional storyline.
- Well-researched and memorable characters.
- Significant decisions that affect the development of the plot.
- Excellent visual and sound component.
Minuses:
- Gameplay differs little from the first season.
- There may be technical problems.
Rating: 9 out of 10.
The Walking Dead: Season Two is a must—play game for all fans of the interactive drama genre and for those who appreciate strong stories and vibrant characters. Get ready for tragic losses, difficult decisions and an unforgettable journey with Clementine.

«The Walking Dead: Season Two» от Telltale Games продолжает повествование, начатое в первой части, погружая нас в мрачную и эмоциональную атмосферу, полную опасностей и неожиданных поворотов сюжета.
The Walking Dead: Season Two
The Walking Dead: Season Two
The Walking Dead: Season Two — это игра, в которой выбор игрока играет ключевую роль.
The Walking Dead: Season Two — это достойное продолжение культовой истории о выживании в мире, охваченном зомби-апокалипсисом.
The Walking Dead: Season Two — обязательная к прохождению игра для всех поклонников жанра интерактивных драм и для тех, кто ценит сильные истории и ярких персонажей.

TWD S2 is a solid, but not perfect continuation of the original WTD Telltale classic. Like the original, your choices have minimal impact on a story that is overall set in stone; fortunately, that story is solid, but not perfect, and features some engaging characters and difficult "choices." Unfortunately, it is noticeably weaker than the original and lacks cohesion from having different writers episode to episode. There are a couple situations that simply don't make sense or are way too risky for these characters to realistically choose, but they do so to achieve "shocking" moments.
This season integrates with the solid 400 days DLC for S1, but does not take advantage of those characters nearly enough with most getting nothing more than a 10 second long cameo. I would still recommend this to anyone who's a fan of the series, and wanting more but it's not as good as the "overwhelmingly positive" reviews make it seems.
The Walking Dead: Season 2? More Like The Walking Drag
Ah, The Walking Dead: Season 2. The follow-up to the so-called “emotional rollercoaster” of the first season. But let’s be honest: if the first season was an emotional rollercoaster, then Season 2 is more like a slow, agonizing crawl through a broken, zombie-infested wasteland that refuses to end. It’s the same tired formula, but this time, it’s dragging you through more clichés, even worse pacing, and the same repetitive choices that mean absolutely nothing. If you thought the first season was a slog, welcome to the never-ending treadmill of bad writing, uninspired characters, and meaningless decisions. Season 2 manages to make everything wrong with the original even worse, all while pretending to be a deep, meaningful experience.
🎮 Gameplay? More Like A Pointless Button-Mashing Simulator
Let’s talk about gameplay. Or more accurately, the complete lack of it. This game prides itself on its “story-driven” experience, but what it really means is “sit back and watch cutscenes while occasionally pressing a button to not fall asleep.” The entire gameplay loop is made up of repetitive, half-baked QTEs (Quick-Time Events), where you’re asked to press a button when the game tells you to, or choose between two dialogue options that lead to the same outcome anyway. There’s no real depth to the mechanics, no exploration, no real interactivity outside of mashing buttons during a fight or choosing who gets to die this time. If you’re hoping for any kind of challenge, forget it. The only real challenge here is trying to stay awake through the endless, mind-numbing cutscenes. This is less of a game and more of an interactive TV show you can’t skip.
💀 The Characters? More Like A Bunch of Walking Red Herrings
Let’s talk about the characters in Season 2. If you thought Clementine’s journey in the first season was heart-wrenching, wait until you meet the new “cast” of walking, talking plot devices. They’re either ridiculously one-dimensional or completely forgettable. The game forces you to care about characters that you don’t have an ounce of emotional investment in, and guess what? You don’t. Luke, Kenny, and the rest of the group are either so annoyingly whiny or so bland that they fail to evoke any real emotion from you. And don’t even get me started on the infamous “choices” where you’re forced to pick who lives or dies. Spoiler alert: the game doesn’t really care what you choose. It just shuffles the characters around and kills off whoever is most inconvenient for the plot. There’s no attachment to these characters because they’re either walking stereotypes or just cardboard cutouts meant to keep you “on edge.”
⚔️ Combat? More Like An Endless Quick-Time Event Grind
Ah, combat. Remember how the first season’s combat was a mess of awkward, sluggish button-mashing? Well, Season 2 takes that and cranks it up to 11. But guess what? It’s not any more satisfying. You’ll find yourself frantically smashing buttons during a QTE, hoping to avoid death, but the whole system feels like it’s there to pad out the runtime rather than actually challenge you. The fights lack tension because the game constantly spoon-feeds you the “correct” choices at the exact moment you need them, and the rest of the time, you’re just waiting for the next prompt to pop up. It’s not intense. It’s not fun. It’s just an annoying, repetitive grind of waiting for the game to tell you how to survive. Real combat? That’s for other games. Here, you’re just pushing buttons until the game says you’ve won.
📜 The Story? More Like a Melodramatic Mess of Bad Decisions
Now let’s talk about the story, because The Walking Dead is all about the emotional weight, right? Wrong. Season 2’s story is a slow, tedious train wreck of melodrama that tries way too hard to pull at your heartstrings, but ends up feeling forced and contrived. Clementine, now older, is trying to survive in a world full of idiots, and you’re along for the ride as she makes the same painful decisions over and over again. The game gives you the illusion of choice, but all roads lead to the same places. You think you’re making a difference? Nope, it’s all just smoke and mirrors. Characters you care about are shuffled out of the plot without warning, and others are introduced only to be killed off in the most predictable, annoying ways. The emotional moments are more “sigh-worthy” than “tear-worthy,” and by the end, you’ll be asking yourself, “Why do I even care about these people?”
🌍 The World? More Like A Repetitive, Barren Landscape
The world of Season 2 is just as uninspired as the characters. It’s the same bleak, lifeless world full of wrecked cars, empty buildings, and endless forests. The game tries to sell you on the idea of survival, but the environments feel as lifeless and stale as the people wandering through them. You’re constantly trudging through the same tired locations, with little variation and even less excitement. Every area feels like a reskin of the last one, and you quickly realize that the world doesn’t matter. It’s just there to serve as a backdrop for the next round of pointless dialogue and forced emotional moments. There’s no real exploration, no sense of discovery—just a series of locations that exist only to remind you how empty and desolate everything is.
💬 Choices? More Like Faux Moral Dilemmas That Don’t Matter
Let’s talk about those choices everyone raves about. Season 2 tries to make you feel like your decisions matter, but here’s the hard truth: they don’t. The game gives you two equally stupid options and forces you to pick one, but in the end, nothing changes. The story marches on in the exact same direction no matter what you choose. Whether you let someone live or die, it’s all just window dressing. The game gives you the illusion of control, but at the end of the day, you're still being railroaded toward the same narrative conclusion. The “moral dilemmas” are hollow and forced, making you feel like the game is trying to manipulate you into feeling guilty for no reason. It’s a joke, and it takes all the fun out of making choices.
💥 Conclusion: The Walking Dead: Season 2 is a Slow, Predictable, and Emotionally Manipulative Disaster
In conclusion, The Walking Dead: Season 2 is everything that’s wrong with “story-driven” games. It’s a slow, repetitive, and emotionally manipulative mess that pretends to be deep but is just a glorified cutscene with a few quick-time events sprinkled in. The characters are shallow, the story is predictable, and your choices don’t matter. If you’re looking for an engaging survival game with real consequences, you won’t find it here. Instead, you’ll find a tedious, melodramatic, and frustrating experience that will make you wish you were playing something—anything—else. Save yourself the time and the tears, and skip this trainwreck.
⭐ Rating: 4/10
(One point for the continuation of Clementine’s journey, even if it’s a boring one. One point for a few moments of decent character writing, though they’re buried in a pile of clichés. Everything else? Frustrating, predictable, and ultimately forgettable. A wasted opportunity.)
I went into The Walking Dead: Season Two thinking I was emotionally prepared. I wasn’t. I was a mess, and I may have told a digital child that I was proud of her like she was my own daughter. Clementine is now my child. I don't care what biology says.
Gameplay? Oh, it’s there—mostly me panicking during quick-time events and mashing buttons like I was fighting off a real zombie with my keyboard. Every character made me feel things—love, hate, regret, hunger (okay, that was just snack time)—and the dialogue choices made me realize I am terrible under pressure. Like, “Do you save the guy who gave you food or the one who called you cool once?” kind of pressure.
Clementine didn't learn a single thing from the first game, 90% of the incidents are her fault even more than they were in the first one.
Awesome game... Worth the time and price... Enjoy it! :)
The follow up from the last game, I love the dingy atmosphere this series create. Once again have a box of tissues nearby, as there are more depressing character arcs sprinkled everywhere.
CS and twdg S2 both taught me to never trust russians
This is so far the best Tell Tale game!. They are all great and I am looking forward to the next in the series!
While I can't in good conscious recommend this game to anyone who is going through a grief-stricken phase of their lives, I can whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone who is willing to partake of a dark and potentially cathartic story.
I wouldn't necessarily say that this is *quite* as gripping as the first season, but very few things are. Try it out if you're interested in seeing how things fall apart.
