Dang, the story is just in simple words is peak. you get atached to the carracters and expierience the harsh reality of Apocalypse. Cant belive this game change my view about the world and death. if u want a deep and tough game that is going to make you realy aprecheate the loved ones you have. this game is for you.

great game with absolutely fantastic stories and lots to keep you on your toes

Possibly the greatest narrative I ever experienced with one of the most tragic and heroic protagonist one could ever hope for. Story sucked me in so hard I couldn't stop bawling when I got to the end. Although I consider the DLC to be definitely weaker in terms of immersion, it's still worth the buy if on sale.

Amazing story and great graphics

The Walking Dead has an incredible story, mixed with incredible characters, and surprising moments that nearly always had you a little on edge. It's one of the greatest story-rich games out there, but unfortunately it lacks a lot in the actual gameplay and decision-making since decisions mean nothing more than unique cutscenes, and sometimes that isnt even guaranteed. The puzzles in the game are mostly enjoyable but extremely easy, and the game almost never requires you to actually try for something... However, with that said the story itself and the foundation it sets for the future games leaves Telltale's The Walking Dead as one of the best story-driven games for sure.

Together, they navigate a world where the living are just as dangerous as the undead, and moral dilemmas are as common as zombie groans.

And just when you think you’re done crying, along comes 400 Days, the DLC that asks, what if we made you care about five new characters in under two hours? It’s a bite-sized anthology of misery and tough choices that somehow makes you question your own morals even more.

It’s a game that proves parenting during a zombie apocalypse is the ultimate test of patience, ethics, and quick reflexes — and the DLC shows that no matter whose story you follow, everyone’s doomed.

Amazing game and truly art with its impactful grey moral quandries that are not the usual Bioware be a saint or be a devil nonsese. Tense and gripping and will make your heart quease with sadness. Its an interactive story more than a game and the walking parts and the camera angles can be awkward but nothing major.


My main gripe is the random dude on the walktie talkie, he comes out of nowhere, has no real explanation and only serves some plot device to make you think about your choices.

But beyond a must play.

The game itself 9.5/10. Good storyteller, cool characters, Some weird decisions, but okay. What makes me mad is the ending. Mostly because I'm used to reading mangas. But still great.

An absolute masterclass in storytelling. I remember playing this game on my tablet as a kid back when it first dropped on iOS, and it's just as good as I recall it being. If you're looking for a suspenseful horror game with a deep story that does not simply focus on being "gory", or relying on shock value, then I'm sure you'd like this one.

THIS GAME (the walking dead telltale; skybound) is the best! I love Lee and clems' friendship, it's truly a beautiful thing even if this is a video game. This game may not be for everyone but I recommened it to a friend that hates or just doesn't prefer zombie games and well she really enjoyed it so I think even if you don't like zombie games just give it a shot because it doesn't have to be about the game itself but about building relastionships and friendships with the other npc's.

The game was very emotional and a masterpiece. I can't believe I played one of the greatest games of all time, I love this game I definitely recommend this to all.

This can be incredible if you're in the mood for it. You have to be in the mood. The only real downside is that the game creates an illusion with the amount of choices they provide. They make you think like each choice has an impact when there really isn't. It's linear. Despite that, this game does a really good job at keeping you hooked through difficult decisions (even if they don't have a real impact). They make you think and feel things only a Telltale game would be able to do.

most sad yet amazing game, bugs are there but they are kinda funny bc it's just people moving around and disapearring. DONT PLAY if you get to attached to charaters quickly and if you do keep them close

Game that will make you feel bad for some decisions and sad overall.
I´m after shoulder surgery so i picked story based game and i have to say that buying ´The Walking Dead' was best decision i made.

When a zombie apocalypse hits USA and the so called State of Law is not an option anymore you are faced with lots of ethical decisions and grey choices. In a context of limited resources which are your priorities? Will you be a good man or risk adverse? Will you be able to watch over an orphan? Does your past matter anymore?

One of the best story games I have ever played. It is serious, dark and sometimes hysterical. However, the scenarios in this game seem very realistic compared to our real world, such as if a zombie apocalypse happened. Depending on how you PLAY HIM, the main protagonist is likeable. This game is based on the choices you make, like Henry Stickmin. This game is a must-try. Substantial story and characters and the buildup and suspense are outstanding. I would heavily recommend playing this if you like the show Walking Dead. This will NOT disappoint you.

I like the game even though you have to make a tough decision but it's just how you shape the storyline. I've watched the playthrough before on youtube by one of my favourite indonesian youtuber. And now. i already have the opportunity to try it myself and experience it.

Very good game, great story and amazing ending

I like the story. Each episode has this unexpected twist to it that I did not expect. It did hit me in the feels on the last episode, what a really bittersweet way to end it!

A timeless game forever.

Playing The Walking Dead is just like a mirror to reflect yourself. To be honest, I did not take Clementine too seriously at the beginning, but as game went through, this little cute really made me feel obliged to take good care of her as a tutor. We learned from each other.

Chunk's suggestions were so important not only in the game, he actually thought much more than Lee about the future "danger" which Clem would finally face by herself. It was very sad finding him dead in the pipes.

Kenny was a nice bastard, he panicked in the farm, he always put his family before everything else, he blamed Lee for no reason several times, but he indeed did something for the whole team. I don't know how to get along with such a tough guy in real life, but no disrespect.

Ben was a big baby. I tried to keep him to the last as much as I could because I though there was always another chance for a kid. He caused death of many people but Lee and Clementine managed to survive and I expected him to make some improvement. It was great to see Ben chose to be honest with Kenny and he paid the price somehow.

Lily and her father were the most awful guys in this game even than the enemies. They were so selfish and only considered two of them, and I would believe that these two would sacrifice anyone if they had a chance to survive. Daughter and father is no excuse, everyone is a child or parent, trying to rationale bad stuff using these words are unacceptable.

Clementine, a girl who was too young to exposed to such a relentless world. Luckily, our girl was very smart and survived the early days. She then became the hope and the last family of Lee and learned how to get along with the world full of zombies. I wish her could be independent and make her own decisions.

There are too many impressive characters in this game, hard to believe it was finished over 10 years ago. The graphics, animation and the controlling system is not good enough in my opinion, but all that matters is the story which they got a very nice one.

It's never to late to play this game.

Gut wrenching experience, i've never cried to a game as much as i did for this one. If the game's art style isn't talking to you much, just know that it wasn't to me either but i still gave it a go, and now out of the 39 games i've played, this one's my top favourite. Give yourself a favour and get this game. The developers knew exactly what to do to directly impact the players, in a very emotional way.

The first season of The Walking Dead pleasantly surprised me. I hadn’t been particularly interested in this game series before because I didn’t like the visual style, but time passes, and my tastes and perspectives have changed. So, I decided to give the first installment a chance.

Great game, I don't know English 100% but I still enjoyed the game, I recommend everyone to play it!!

I was surprised by the length of the playthrough. I like the variety of characters mostly and there were a bunch of difficult choices. Although I wished for more choices, there were also just a lot of sequences that one cannot skip through. Especially if you want to - like me- play different save games, the ability to skip some sequences or reactions would be good. I already see how different choices alter the storyline, I am excited to play season 2 and so forth.

This video game is a certain masterpiece. The game itself is far from your typical zombie shooter experience. It swings to being a puzzle game at times, at others a graphic novel/choose-your-own-adventure type game. I wont detail the story, because you must experience first hand. But, Telltale's delivery of this gripping journey should be appreciated by any and all. It is a demonstration of how this medium can effectively produce a truly genuine and evocative piece of storytelling art.

this game is a must play in 2024 going into 2025 i have played this game from when i was a kid on my ps4 the demo version and have loved it ever since and have re bought it on my pc 7 years later to replay this master piece if you love zombie games that make you think fast on this spot and makes you pick which lives to save then this game is for you.

The story of Lee and Clementine...

First time I played this game was back in the day when it just got out. Now that I've played it again in 2024, I can honestly say it's a masterpiece. I've seen every single episode of The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead and all the spin-offs and extra episodes, so you could say I'm a fan. And as a fan, I tell you, this is a must-have. It's everything The Walking Dead is about: just ordinary people trying to survive in this traumatic new world, hard choices and a lot of emotions. You just can't help getting attached to these characters and getting completely immersed in the story.

Lee Everett is, and probably always will be, my favorite character of the series and that also has a lot to do with the voice acting of Dave Fennoy. That man has such a pleasant and reassuring voice, it made Lee all the more sympathetic.

This whole series is on sale right now and I finally bought the last episode today to eventually play. I am going to start this game again, but it doesn't matter that I have already played it 2 times before. The Story is so gripping, you will drop your jaw at the base story all the way to the end. You learn what it means to truly be a good person if you want to be.

This game is a masterpiece, love the comic like art style, many options during conversations and the little puzzles are great too.

If I could I would reset my memory about this game and play it over because I've played this masterpiece and watched it many times which I still enjoy it! I even hear voice lines or see small details I've never seen before. Just give this experience a shot.

Don't buy this game until it goes on sale its normally 15$ but when it goes on sale all walking dead games go on sale for about 85% and it goes on sale often. The game has a very good story and your choice heavily affect the story. If you play this game and don't like the combat or quick time events because they are too simple don't worry the sequels to this game have much better combat and quick time events. Do not play any other walking dead games before this one its very important and is the most liked. Also play 400 days before you play season 2 if you play 400 days after it's irrelevant. I highly recommend this game I consider it to be the best telltale game as it has the most episodes out of any telltale series at 21 episodes for all the walking dead games combined so its very replayable. Side note: do not watch anything on tiktok related to this game do not watch any live streams or any videos with out and alt account, the reason I am saying this is because you may scroll and then get a glance of a live stream of an episode you haven't played yet giving spoilers. So even if you have played that episode don't watch a live stream of the game on your main as it will recommend other streams that have later episodes.
