Game is very fun, reminds me of the Playstation 2 version I played all night long with friends back in the day. Great to play with friends for Remote Play, as only one person needs to have the game!!!
clearing a dungeon with 4 of your is a cool idea and you make tactics about what to do and how to clear a dungeon not gonno lie at first graphics look cheap at least for me but when you play you realise graphics are good the biggest downside to this game you can't play without friend but it is easy to play with your friends if you have them first of all game is really cheap and you can ven play with your phone I recomend 4 pack :3
It's a fun, albeit short, game. Three of us beat it in less than 8 hours. How long to beat the game notwithstanding, it's a fun little game with fair graphics and worth the ( bought it on sale ) price.
This game is kinda fun but damn is it unbalanced af if you're playing solo, would I recommend if you have friends to play with? Sure. solo? Eeeeeeeh, at your own discretion, really, but I personally wouldn't recommend it, it's pretty frustrating even in the early levels.
If you're built different then go for it.

Good game to play with 1-2 friends. but campaign very short and there is no workshop for new levels...
It is fun alone, but with a friend it is the best. Same as the arcade original.
Got the $6 bundle for 4 players, beat it, had fun for a few session, moved on. Nice dungeon crawl, would have liked a bit more nuance on equipment, but it mostly doesn't matter.

This game is a great adaptation to the throw back. The only shame is that the devs didn't continue to explore this world with a follow up title.
I really enjoyed it, the difficulty level is set about right and there's lots of allowances for different tactics and strategies whilst remaining faithful to the original.
The background dungeons are a little static. It could perhaps have benefited from more visceral and interactive environments that allowed for more player destruction. Occasionally, when the screen is busy with enemies its easy to lose track of where your character is.
On the difficult levels (particularly the final level) it does have that "just one more go" factor which is hard to achieve without being frustrating.
Overall i thought it was worth it for £10.
Only good on sale and with friends. otherwise its pretty stiff and simple gameplay. there are better games like this.
Just like old times. The split screen coop is super fun and its hard to find games like this to play. Players can jump in and out of the campaign between levels and up to 4 people can play at the same time on one screen.

Friend grabbed a crown. Blew up friend with explosive barrel. Took crown. Exited level and was awarded greediest hero. 10/10.

it feels like a nice update to the classic arcade game I played as a child. My brother and I pumped so many quarters into these machines over our childhood.
We both got the game on the xmas sale, cleared to the final boss in the first time playing. Had an amazing time.

Pretty awesome co-op dungeon crawler! Especially awesome since you only need one copy of the game to play with friends via steam remote play! I've been a long time fan of the gauntlet series and while the campaign is short this time around, there's still a lot of fun to be had here!
Its a pretty interesting game.
At first i think it was a boring game but then i started to have more fun. You have a few mechanics to learn and a few upgrades to get, so yes there is grinding but its not super grindy

Not nearly as good as previous Gauntlet games. Very disappointed there were only 3 characters to select from. The little bit of story I played was marginal at best. Everything is watered down. I'll have to find a way to play dark legacy again to wash the taste out of my mouth.

Do you remember playing the Gauntlet Legends? Do you like top down dungeon crawlers? Do you like to eat food? If yes get this game. It's a wonderful re-imagining of the old games with some new tricks to learn as well. Plus being able to play with multiple people on the same screen is wonderful! I'll be honest that's a touch that most modern games seem to miss. Overall I've got about 4 hours in and I'm loving it.
Good old fashioned fun. Had this back in the day and picked it up on sale to play on the deck. Recommended
