Our hero, Max, may be just a 2D sprite, but he can leap into the third dimension by jetting between the background and the foreground playfields with his trusty jetpack in this unique dimensionally-woven experience.
Armed with a heavy-duty water cannon, Max has what he needs to vanquish his long-term nemesis: the Mutant Mudds. Max must blast and hover his way across the soiled landscape to seek out mysterious Water Sprites. Legend says collecting all of the mysterious Water Sprites will wash the filthy Mutant Mudds away for good!

Genuinely very well made platformer. Feels very classic and the difficulty curve feels near perfect.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING
I'd love to recommend this game but there's a game breaking bug and it seems very few people know about it. The game runs way too fast. You can change it in the options in windowed mode and then set it to fullscreen. If you do it in that order then you're fine but if you switch to fullscreen before changing the game speed then you're screwed. It says Alt+Enter takes you out of fullscreen but that flat out doesn't work so you're stuck with playing the game at super speed which is almost impossible. I just recently bought a new laptop and while my save files transferred over, it seems my settings did not. I went to go to fullscreen without changing game speed and... now it's almost unplayable
This game took me a few hours to beat but the last thing I wanted to do was seen as too much for me where you had to get 20 coins. I only got 1 then stopped because I knew that would take a long time. In this game, you play a platformer where you play as a kid with a gun. There are 3 upgrades but you are limited to 3 you can use. Some parts where you have to do challenges require certain upgrades to use them. There's one for more damage, more jet power, and one where you can go up in the air. If you get a checkpoint the coins you get from the level are saved until you beat the level. There are 100 coins in each level. There are 40 levels you can do and each enemy ranges from easy to hard depending on your level. The most annoying enemies for me are the ones that drop bombs before you can react. The enemies aren't worth talking about since they're pretty cliche. There are 5 different stages in the game where you start at a normal grass field level to a level where it's night with platforms that can take you out in one hit. There are 3 health bars you get in the game and the game won't give you some. The other part is where you can use the grandma which lets you use all the upgrades which is a plus but the other 20 levels have ghosts that can't get hit unless you use a certain weapon with limited ammo. If you take them out they come back to life so use them wisely. There are bonus levels you can do to get an achievement but the one I talked about above I did not do because I knew that would take forever since I'm not good at platformers. Pretty hard game but worth getting on sale 7 out of 10.

I love it
So this game is definitely good. However, it may not be what you're expecting from a platformer. It consists of getting diamonds and killing Mudds, with few new twists or mechanics throughout (that's not necessarily a bad thing at all).
I had fun with it, but something you should be mindful of is that the developer seems like they had some sort of twisted fixation on timed disappearing/reappearing platforms (the game is very timing based), so if you don't like timing-based platformers you probably won't like this ngl
