Badger babies, need I say more?

This game got me hooked on all Shelter titles! The art alone is enough to draw you in. When people say an indie game can change your life, I feel like they're referring to games like this. It's so simple, yet beautiful and tragic. You truly feel the hardships of being a single mother in a cruel and unforgiving world. You'll want to do everything in your power to protect your babies. The silent yet impactful story is what keeps you replaying. Although, I will admit, this game doesn't have as much replay value as some of the other titles, it's still a must-play!

First child disappeared in the night, the second got taken by fright, the third was drowned in the flood... But that wasn't true, she came back to us soon.! Sadly not long after, a bird of prey took her... Now only two of my children remained.
I tried my best to feed them all, but in the end food themselves they become. Oh dear children who remain, I hope food and shelter will forever by your side remain.

Beautifully done game. Great art and soundtrack.

Basically a walking sim with minimal gameplay. The artistic elaboration is not bad / quite fitting and overall I would rate it as a niche, mediocre game.

It takes 30-60 minutes to complete the whole game which is not enough to justify the price tag of 15€. If you can work with these type of games, you can get it at a 75-90% price discount.

I could not get the hang of this at all, I kept failing at the first objectives because I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to be doing or how to do it

Single Mother Simulator

This game is amazing, and deserves more recognition from others. The story, art style, soundtrack, etc is beautiful. This game almost made me cry. Thank you for developing this masterpiece.

its a cute game and its fun

Only ~1 hour long. I would say to buy it when it is on sale. A short, but fun experience about nurturing your badger offspring.

This game is both incredibly peaceful and stressful at the same time. I never thought I'd have so much fun navigating motherhood as a badger but here we are. I'm just sad it's not longer.

I love this game, I enjoyed playing it and would play it again. Unfortunately it is definitely not worth the $15 currently asked. To me, this game is worth about $5.
TL:DR, Get it on sale.

Fun and beautiful game that I overall enjoyed, though the initial instructions weren't really clear enough for my liking and there were a lot of (small but overall annoying) glitches. Characters kept clipping through things they clearly weren't meant to, and kept getting stuck on other things. Was not clear where or how to save (first time I quit to mess with the controls, it deleted everything I'd done, second time after I was done playing it had a "continue" option in the menu). I did play it for 75 minutes straight, though, so even if I'm pointing out what I found frustrating, the game definitely kept me engaged and I do intend to come back to it!

The design was beautiful with lots to explore, and the different levels were a lot of fun to figure out about. It got surprisingly intense for such a simple-to-play game (compliment). Premise had me invested, too! I definitely do recommend giving it a go.
