Want to speed through a full loop on unicycle?
-Nice cartoony style and a pretty 2.5D viewpoint (Although this view can cause some eye itch at first) but the second title is more stimulating with added settings (Caves, snow etc.) and Joe Danger 1 mostly stuck with ACME deserts and spectating crowds
-OK music, Joe Danger 1 has the superior 70s game show music, and the second title has the decent scenario tracks (Spy music for the spy movie levels for instance) that feel a bit less distinct
-No story really... no dialogue either really
-Gameplay is the meat of the game. Plays like the trials games I assume (I never played any of those games) except less realistic I'm guessing (The review thumbnail wasn't just a joke: Joe survives due to the sometimes-forgiving physics)
-The focus is more on completing objectives on the levels rather than just surviving them: collect these stars, collect these letters, complete the level in one continuous combo etc. in order to earn level stars and the harder level medals that can be earned on some levels by achieving all of the level stars in one try (Unlocks a nice costume as well on occasion, the second game has all 9 team fortress 2 class available from the start I believe)
-Joe Danger 1 is more hardcore in this respect, more demanding, with more stars to earn and probably requiring more perfection. Joe Danger 2 is a bit more fun (More vehicles too) and laid-back as the medal levels usually have fewer stars to earn in one run and I think I actually completed it at like half the time I played the first game (Which I gave up on later on because of frustration) but maybe that makes for a purer experience.
-But I argue that both games complement one another and that purchasing the bundle will offset some of the cost of the second game with the first titles bulk and challenge yet inject more of the second title's fun and variety
-Samescreen multiplayer (Versus racing) having up to 4 players on the same screen at once (I like it but it's quite an overwhelming experience to throw your uninitiated friends into as my test with friends had mixed results)

Practical concerns:
-OK value for money for me (R5.30/ $0.50/ £0.34 per hour of gameplay) - opting for the bundle with both games can offset the cost
-Quite small download size (Takes up 818.52 Mb on the harddrive)
-Fairly easy to run
-Mostly kid friendly (May cause some eye itch initially and two costumes may be problematic)

It's easier but not less fun then the previous game, and the music is very good

Just as good as I remembered it on the 360. DOES NOT WORK ON STEAM DECK THOUGH JUST CRASHES EVERY TIME YOU FINISH THE FIRST LEVEL. SHOULD NOT BE VERIFIED.

Play the original.
There's so much noise in the level design in JD2, and the camera is in such a weird angle.
Plus, it kind of looses that "Excite Bike" spirit.

I have been really enjoying this game. Its fun, light action and easy to quickly dip in and out of which is ideal. Looking forward to giving the multiplayer a go soon.

The support of the gamepad is buggy on linux.
It starts well but after one ride and the first return to the menu, it's like the gamepad is going completely insanely crazy.
It's a USB xbox 360 gamepad that always works. And it works without a problem on shank and shank 2 using steam for linux. So I'm sure it does not come from my system or the steam client.

This game has no interest at all played with the keyboard.
If the devs fix that I would totally change my review for a positive one.

The game is actually fun and performs well on linux. The gamepad bug is killing it.
( I tried using both xpad and xboxdrv )

For windows users, no problem at all the gamepad works flawlessly.

Besides it's a quite funny game trying to get that japanese crazyness from arcade games. And they succeeded at it pretty well in my opinion.
The graphics are nice and colourful. I am actually sad of that situation.

This episode is easier than the first one and that's a good point, but some achievements can't be earned without buying the DLC. It's still is a good game with a lot of fun.

This game makes me wish Steam had a neutral rating. It's not bad, but it's not really good either. The screen is often too cluttered with explosions and various other moving parts, making it easy to lose track of your stuntman. Check out the original game first. It's the better of the two. If you like that one enough, then I suppose you'd probably get some enjoyment out of this one as well.

Don't buy this game... many people suffers from some strange blurry bug - HUD is fine but main scene is blurred and devs don't give a sht.

This game is pretty fun so far, it's a bit like Excite Bike meets Trials. If you have a monitor that runs at higher than 60hz though you should set it to run at 60hz or the game runs too fast, which is a bit rubbish.

Really stupid fun. Won't make you contemplate life. Won't challange you. But damnit, its pretty fun.

Hello Games needs as much support as you can give right now, since their studio flooded. So I recommend picking this up if you want to see No Man's Sky get made.

Joe Danger 2 improves upon the first game by adding more vehicles and other ways of transportation. I don't know what to tell you about it really. If you played the first one this one is very similar. Yes, the different vehicles add more variety to the game, but it's still all about collecting stars, letters and other collectibles, while performing as many stunts as you can. Except this time, the whole game is set on a movie set. Even the graphics look the same, with just slightly more variation.

Also, the game performs much, much better than the first one. The first one had some annoying frame drops, but JD2 runs at a solid 60FPS at all times. But this Joe occasionally has some frustrating levels with not enough checkpoints.

In the end Joe Danger 2 still isn't very long if you don't like to collect stuff, but if you do you're in for a treat. It's a great game, just don't expect too much new stuff. However, if it's your first Joe you have nothing to worry about. Just enjoy the ride !

Very fun race/stunt game! Lots of different vehicles, the game changes depending on what environment/car combo you're using.

This game is better than the awesome first Joe Danger game in every way. If you can only buy one, buy this one. It has tf2 skins and voices and a minecraft guy skin. This game is dope.

Quite a entertaining motorcycle game with a lot of humor and color. Fun with 3 friends, but lacks the fine tuning and feel that other games in the same genre. Bonus characters from Team fortress 2 and Minecraft is a welcome addition.

First of all, its not "translated" to PC version, all ingame explanations are for game pad/joystick.... game is TOO expensive for what it offer.... damn it Im sad...

Very simular to the first one, but this has a movie theme. So all the levels are spoofing action flicks. Interesting but same thoughts as the first one. Pick up on sale for $5.
