Данная игра концентрируется на моделировании реалистичного оружия, командной игре и ближних боях. Чтобы преуспеть, вам нужно будет думать без спешки, изучать окружающую обстановку и действовать безупречно. Если в вас попадут, то результат будет соответствующий. Вы не сможете отсиживаться за стеной и дожидаться, пока восстановится здоровье. Если член команды гибнет, вам приходится повторно оценивать ситуацию и при необходимости делать перестановки в команде, чтобы выполнить задание. Не ожидайте, что вам принесут все инструменты и планы на блюдечке — следить за экипировкой команды и ее готовностью к выполнению заданий должен игрок и только он. В игре множество характеристик, например, реалистичное проникновение пули, точность и отдача, и выбор правильного вооружения, амуниции, брони и снаряжения лежит на вас, поэтому выбирайте с умом. For me the game seems to be a very, very bad Rainbow 6 copy.

It feels like this game was made in the twilight zone. Everything appears normal for a brief moment in time before you’re lost in a bizarre warped version of a tactical FPS. Every single mechanic in the game is misaligned to some degree. There’s barebone stealth mechanics that seem to work for a second. Light armor makes it so when you crouching walk enemies aren’t immediately alerted, but sometimes enemies will hear you from across the map, or see through walls at random. The menus aren’t intuitive at all and selecting/editing your loadout in coop requires both prayer and luck for your equipment to be properly equipped. The enemies jump between aimbot gods and lemmings who will run in circles without firing shots. The lean mechanic is completely broken, often there's a bug where you get stuck in lean mode whenever you aim down sights. Imagine you’re in a firefight, as soon as you aim at the enemy your character will lean at random and get you killed. The weapon selection is lackluster, the guns feel a little dated for 2014. Weapon balance is strange too. The recoil is different between guns, but it’s exaggerated to an insane degree on some guns for no reason. Investigating the marketing materials the director of this game is a veteran and a gun nut, making it strange the weapons are so off. Shooting 5 shots out of a 7.62x39 ak will somehow have you looking at the ceiling while other guns of a bigger caliber will have lesser recoil? The only mechanic that works are partial reloads. If you reload on an empty mag but with one in the chamber your reload animation and ammo count will reflect that. It’s embarrassing that out of the entire game this is the only mechanic that isn’t broken to any degree. This game was apparently a kickstarter project that raised 200k back in 2014. You’d think with that much money the devs could build a better game. There’s 5 maps, like 10 primary guns, and 3 sidearms. There’s no replayability and once you complete a level once there’s no drive to play it again with different guns.
This doesn’t feel like a complete developer scam project, I sense real effort was put into this game. I just think the developers were out of their element and maybe the indie technology wasn’t completely there in 2014. Since there’s so much wrong with the game, why would I recommend it? The game went on Sale for like 80 cents, so if you have a friend who you like to COOP games with it might be fun to play through it. Despite the many glaring flaws there’s fun to be had, and completing an arduous level feels rewarding. The majority of my playtime was on one horrible level (cargo). Truly the ‘Ready Or Not’ at home.
Writing this review in consideration of the price this game had on a sale (which was only 60-80 cents) and after beating the entire campaign in 2 player co-op.
Every aspect of this game is broken or dysfunctional to some degree:
- movement, very slow and awkward, leaning gives you extra 10 millimeters of sight but locks you in a spot or you might even get stuck in a leaning position because of a bug and spend next 2 minutes of your gameplay as a child with scoliosis.
- weapons, there's a very little choice with what you can use, some of them do feel surprisingly nice. not much to be said.
- audio, guns randomly stop making any noise so you might die to a silent ak, you can't hear enemy footsteps most of the time even when they're running. ambient noises are okay and some weapons sound pretty good if they do work properly.
- ai, arguably the worst and the most broken part of Takedown, some of them are completely braindead where they will look you in the eye, walk past you, start spinning and miss everything. some of them are like cs:go cheaters and instantly beam you as soon as you show them 1 pixel of your character from the most devious angle, even if they were facing in a different direction, even if you were crouching the whole time and using a silencer, you're gonna die.
- stages, somehow very cool, its enjoyable learning them and possible enemy locations you'll be clearing.
- technical issues, couldn't play co-op with a friend without simulating LAN through an external software, alt-tabbing out of a game caused a horrible crash once where even rebooting the computer wouldn't stop the running process and i had to restart windows in a safemode to finally get rid of it, but if you don't alt-tab there are no major issues.
After all that i'm still recommending this pile of shit. its unintentional difficulty made it very fun and also funny. beating the most awful mission after 2 days of replaying it felt amazing. again, the challenge comes from all the wrong reasons but somehow it can be satisfying. i think we got more than 60 cents worth of fun from here.

LOL the amount of hype the game had on kickstarter and amount of money they collected compared to the results we had is just a fkn bad joke.
Shame on you, you disgraced the tactical shooter community.
Originally paid around 15bucks for few copies for me and my friends.
It's not a big loss but the game still fell short of non-existent expectations.
