good fun

at its heart it wants to be a good game, the graphics are nice, and its a step away from most fantasy games. everything is rough cut and dirty. and i love that. but it just feels like a shitty l4d clone. everything is locked behind paywalls, the controls are clunky, and its just not a fun thing to boot up after a long day. get l4d if you want something fun to play.

I played just the single player & had a blast. May not be ideal for what the game is meant to be played but I don't care, how many games we get to savagely beat up plenty of rats? There's mods to improve the game & i'm thankful for it, i got best experience at the 1st run. I wished the character got more fancy power up but being multiplayer game is why it would take more effort to balance. Would also be better if there's RPG element, perhaps there is (like taking side quest) but i found it uninteresting & just move on after the credits. For the quality gameplay this is a steal on sale.

but in my opinion the game has one big problem that sadly takes a lot of fun out of the game and that is the loot system

put simply it isn't very fun to farm after loot in this game it's a big waste of time

Warhammer if he Left 4 Dead
And yes its awesome. Great graphics, the characters are surprisingly charming and extremely charismatic just like in Left 4 Dead. Each character plays different and has its own set of weapons. They are effectively classes. There's also a whole bunch of different weapons and equipments you can use to up the replay value. There's lots of little campaigns just like in left 4 dead. Its a great use of the Warhamme ip.
However I do have some problems with it. The enemy variety is serviceable. There's enough to feel the gap, but after beating 5 campaigns fighting the same enemies. It starts to get a little boring. And the devs have no excuse to not had added more enemy types. This is Warhammer we are talking about, not only are there tons of multiple types of Skaven. There's also many more other creatures. Such as Orcs, Chaos Demons and hell theres a whole campaign that takes place in Drachenfells which is supposed to be the domain of the Vampire Counts, its supposed to be filled to the brim with undead monsters and Vampires. But no, the entire campaign is just the skaven.......... Thats my only big problem with the game. Very poor enemy variety for too many missions.
I do also have one last problem with the game. This one is more personal, it doesn't really destroys the game for me, its just annoying. Why did the bright wizard had to be an old woman? through multiple different media and art, the bright wizard has always been depicted as male, why change that? to a very unappealing ugly woman no less. Stupid thing to do.

Графика достойная, геймплей на должном уровне. Единственное что омрачняет, так это умирающий мультиплеер - что неудивительно ведь вышла вторая часть этой игры.

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide

First and foremost, this game is not particularly enjoyable if you intend to play it alone. I'm not suggesting that it's completely unplayable for a single player; rather, it tends to be "not enjoyable" or "boring." The difficulty level of the game decreases significantly when playing with AI companions, as they are hard to kill and can revive you even under intense pressure.

I had the pleasure of playing with my "dear" friends on the game's highest difficulty settings. We experienced countless deaths, were forced to abandon friends, got kidnapped by ugly creatures during battles, and faced the challenge of reviving teammates under stress. It was amusing to watch my friends frantically running from a horde while carrying a barrel. When an ogre appeared, we shit our pant same time, experiencing what felt like the longest reload animation ever.

While the core gameplay mechanics may not offer the most thrilling experience, I would still recommend trying this game with a group of three or four friends. The community, unfortunately, died before prophet Muhammad an we use them as fossil fuel these days.

FULL REVIEW

I really wanted to like this game, but the amount of time and effort it takes to play through a single level and not even achieve level 1 is just too much of a kick in the teeth as a player. The design decisions that went into the equipment + progression systems here are mind boggling - I honestly can't believe someone thought it was a good idea to force players to slog through levels filled with some of the worst insta-death mechanics ever imagined only to turn around and give them a 100% RNG-based reward that 99 times out of 100 will be completely worthless. Even then, the upgrades players DO get are so terrible that it makes the whole experience of the game feel almost shameful to keep playing. At current there is an exploit in the game which makes it fairly easy to complete one of the levels, but even then the xp and rewards you get for doing so are so bad that the thought of using the upgrades on any other level makes you wonder why you're even playing this game in the first place.

Aside from rolling the dice with level completion and hoping you get something good there is another RNG-based "contracts" system where you can essentially do daily quests that will eventually give you a specific contract reward whenever you happen to be able to finish enough quests. The thing is, most of the daily quests will just give you a crafting currency which is used to upgrade existing weapons - the only way to get a specific contract reward is to complete a number of the daily quests that ALSO give you some sort of key as a reward. The problem with this is that the daily quests are completely random and can be for ANY level - INCLUDING DLC. This means that if you only bought the base game there's a good chance that 90+% of your daily quests cannot even be picked up, and given that the contract rewards take 6-9 "keys" to unlock means you could be spending weeks trying to get a single item. If that doesn't tell you everything you know about this game's progression system and how awful it is then you must be one of the devs here.

If for some reason you're still reading this and think you'll give it a shot then I hope for your sake you know other people that want to play because the devs seemed to have actively designed it to not be playable solo. Bots will perpetually get stuck (and are only made BARELY usable via mods - meaning the devs couldn't even be bothered to do so). Special enemies have abilities that will instantly and permanently disable you if they get into melee range without any way to defend against it besides killing them or hoping one of the bots will kill them (hint: they won't). If enemies didn't have teleport abilities and appear directly behind you with no way of stopping that it'd be one thing, but the devs apparently decided they needed to make the game seem "challenging" without actually knowing what the word means.

While all of the above should have stopped any sane person from playing, the final straw for me was how buggy the game is. As a preface, I have an extremely stable internet connection and very capable machine to play this game on, however for some reason the game will still sometimes lose connection from the Vermintide servers which 100% of the time will cause the game to crash when it reconnects. It'd be one thing if there was any way to save progress in levels, but once that happens that means you have completely wasted whatever amount of time you have spent in a level as the rewards and progress are not recoverable whatsoever. So, if you were 95% of the way through a level that took ~45m to slog through that means you get the fun task of trying to play through it ALL OVER AGAIN.
