While this game is nice and enjoyable, buying it for anything more than the experience that is the game right now is a loss of money and time. The game lacks content for people who wish to play. The game deserves so much more. The community is wonderful, being the only thing keeping it alive. This game is no longer developed, most likely will not receive any updates and hasn't since 2020. Also multiplayer is in a sorry state. I recommend that you do not buy the game until it's revived by some studio or some other significant change. I like the game and will change my review if the game gets any support. May it get revived from the dead like a phoenix.

we just need a small studio to buy the game and finish it an it would be one of the best builder games known to gaming!

My friend and I were looking for a game to relax and escape from all the stress in our lives. We saw the trailer for this one and thought, “Oh, this looks fun. This could be great.” But that was a mistake. The worst decision we could have made.

Multiplayer? Practically non-existent. We had to download additional software just to get the game running in local co-op. And that was just the beginning. It only got worse from there.

This game is a disaster in every way:
❌ The controls are ridiculously uncomfortable.
❌ Constant lag, no matter which stage of the game you’re in or how long you’ve played.
❌ FPS drops dramatically even after building a small base, let alone anything bigger.

We just wanted to have some fun. Instead, we got nothing but frustration and disappointment. Who knew it would be this bad…

It's a fun game, single-player or with buds, just a shame the devs stopped updating it though.

a no longer supported game that is almost fun. it comes close, but some of the mechanics get clunky and the game gets frustrating and tedious about mid-way though play. It has a lo tof promise, but gets bogged down. the wood construction tools are awful.

Game is abandoned, Ai is so buggy it ruins the survival element, progression slows down to a hault quickly due to unnecessary caps on units (and lack of conent overall). yeah mabye it made sense to cap them a decade ago but at least give us the option to change that...

Unfinished for the same reasons that appear on the bad reviews here.
I've come back to this game in a span of 5 years and I still get annoyed by the bugs and missing features.

shitty boring as shit there are like 5 diferent enemys that are just bigger versions of the other enemy

So laggy and bad optimized.
Several times got bug that not allows you make anything.
Very unintuitive controls.

It could be a very nice game but it is abandoned while still acting like a beta version. It can be played and you can really enjoy it but you will have to face all the game issues sooner or later. The biggest one is the AI. You have to constantly keep eye on Bricktons and save one "every other minute". They are ineffective in tasks, resources distribution, and pathfinding. Especially later in your game with more Bricktons when the game becomes slower (on my non-gaming HW). The game and camera control is usable but not very helpful. I really like the matter of the game but I can't recommend it as it is abandoned and buggy.

ive been on steam for around 10 years and this was one of the first games i got, its sad to see that it stopped getting updated, it was really fun

good game except on how the multiplayer does not work anymore and its the reason i bought the game. but its still fun

I really loved this game. It somehow got more and more buggy and the AI got worse. Now it is abandoned. Don't waste your money.

I miss the devs, i know this review is way past the date on them not pushing out more updates/content (2017ish) but this would be a great time to do a resauced version and release Kingdom story or something 2.0 because this game has and always will be sick but limited and lost to time.

Wish i reviewed this game 7 years ago its so good sad that sauropod is dead but this game has everything you need to have fun and continue to have fun into the future i recommend

Very good game but sauropod studio has shut down so no more updates but you can get mods on it tou can build your own map recommend if you do want to buy

The multiplayer Does not work so im refunding it ill get it when i can actually play with friends.

i would highly recommend this game to RTS game lovers. the building can go deep and the recourse gathering is not hard. all the mode are super fun. highly recommend. The price is not bad too.

BUILD BRICKS

Could have been fantastic but it was abandoned. If you want a game with freeform building and supply chains, Factory Town isn't terrible.

This could've become a good game - the foundations are there and they are solid - but it's unfinished and dead. I can't recommend people spend money on this, unless it's for academic reasons.

This is the first game that made me actually engage with an RTS, and come back.

Though I have one problem with it, and that is in the assigning of tasks. (Some in-game messages like the one for "no empty stockpiles" but for certain tasks, with messages such as "not enough X for task Y" would be good.) As there are so many things to do, and not enough time to realise when bricktrons aren't doing certain works.

Otherwise, very fun.

The game is pretty fun, but i can't recomend it because of the lack of content.

If you don't mind it then it is worth it.

Great game, idea and build, but I just wish there was some more development in the build category along with some minor fixes to the multiplayer, like crashing and saving and such. Once again though great game.

Multiplayer does not work through steam unless you do back handed methods. So screw this game.

2024: game is broken and the little guys don't even build, the tutorial is also completely broken
