I like Shadow warrior, only issue is that the Twin Dragon (#2) is put into it's own folder and the setup for the original version doesn't apply. You have to find the SW.CFG file in the primary folder for the original version shared with the 3rd version... and copy over top of the SW.CFG file in the Twin Dragon folder. All 3 games will then play using the same setup. I liked both new versions.

Great first person shooter with some dialogue.
Civvie 11 put it better than I can, but this game is great fun. Of the 3 classic build engine games (this, Blood, and Duke Nukem), it's hard to say which one is best, but it's a gem, just be ready for lots of enemy hit scanners at times, although not quite as many as Blood.
It's a fantastic game, but this is a terrible version; I recommend getting the original game -either on GOG or here on Steam-, and use one of the many sourceports you can find for this title; it's way more stable, better optimized, has proper vsync implementation and a number of other fixes and stability settings that this version lacks.

Piece of craр. Bad level design. Constantly crashes, corrupting save files. My recommendation: save game regularly in different slots.
I love these old "boomer shooters". This and Duke Nukem 3D give me instant nostalgia.
The game itself plays great. But it started crashing when I would reload saves starting around Chapter 12 or so.
Other than that, no issues. I will be playing Blood next.
Great game if you want to learn about Japanese and Chinese history, it's really faithful.

don't mess with Lo Wang
this a good game. it seems broken cuz of an update. i can't play the game tired unistalling the game restart my computer and steam. it still doesn't work if your interested i'll recommend you wait until they update the game.
There is heaps of content here, maybe the best doom clone out there.
I have seen a lot of people say that the game didn't port well, I however did not run into any issues during my time playing the game.
As for the game itself for those who have not played it, it's like Duke Nukem in terms of humor (Though not as good in my personal opinion) and plays like most FPS games from it's era. There isn't a large variety of enemy types which is unfortunate but overall a fun classic that is worth your time and the pretty low price.
However I do want to stress that if you like old FPS games think Duke Nukem, Not Doom.

Esse aqui demorou pra eu pegar gosto por causa que passa a maior parte do tempo procurando chaves ao invés de derrotar inimigos e isso de ficar perdido no map atrás de chaves eu acho que estraga mt a experiencia do que o game poderia proporcionar.
Enfim, mas em relação ao número de secrets nos maps e as armas com duas versões de uso eu curti mt! A Katana e a Uzi são as armas que mais usei nesse game por serem mt satisfatórias! GGWP!

Should you buy? Shadow Warrior Classic Redux
Yes the movement and gun play is great
However if you were to want to get into boomer shooters that were made back then (Doom, Quake, and Duke Nukem 3D)
Just be aware a few things that modern day boomer shooters don't exactly have such as
key progress item (Key card or Key) hidden that result in a need of a walkthrough
No level select
Lack of checkpoints which means if you don' t save it will take you back to start of level strip of all thing you collected as soon as the guy you play as die
The use of healing items as the only way to get health back up, due to level design as maze taking damage may be essential that may come off as soft lock
Difficulty affect enemy spawn rate which may make low difficulty enjoyers not as satisfy
Small hard to hit enemy that pop up from time to time I find them annoying
Going from something a bit more floaty like Blood is a whiplash, but it's nice.

This is a great old-school shooter. It is also surprisingly harder than Doom, Duke Nukem, or Heretic, even on Easy difficulty so be prepared.
How this pile of cack made it into the top 3 build engine games is beyond me. Cringe in every way

4/10 not for me
Had a super fun time playing through most of the game. There were a few bits I got stuck on, but it happened a lot less than in doom 2. Main game was great, the expansions were also really good (apart from a level in twin dragons where there is mines that this version made invisible). Looking forward to coming back to this in a year or 2.

A classic redux makes Wang happy. A classic redux without the ability to play co-op, a feature in the original game... = sticky bomb, meet Mr. Stupid.
If it's on sale, wash Wang. If it's full price, watch Wang, wash Wang.
This is one of the cult classics from the golden age of games in 1997. At this time many good shooters came out and Shadow Warrior is one of the classics.
This game needs OpenGL support but most cards from 2001 onwards should be fine. My Lenovo 14 UHD 630 graphic have 192 shaders is about 400 GFLOPs which beats the Xbox and Xbox 360. The machine handles this classic easily.

A true OG flavor both in game design and humor. They don't make Wangs like these anymore so give it a try and enjoy a taste of vidoegame history. Who wants some Wang? You do and will want more Wang by the end of it
