Let me start with I am 14, because most people think this game is played by boomers (it mostly is) but there also aren't, this game is £6, and it will be a great fps expirence, if you come from team fortress 2 and want to play a game like it, sorry to say but this isn't that game, once you play both games for about 6 hours or so you'll realise that tf2 has had alot of creative liberties, you may also not want to get this game because there is no workshop support so there will be no custom maps, I'm here to say your wrong! There are more custom maps that are fun than in tf2, if you like team based shooters and/or class based shooter games, I think its worth the price since if people are going to waste money on a fps shooter wich is a reskin of the last game with +1000GB (looking at you CoD) then why not give it a shot, and hey, if you like half-life you will like this :)

I own this game because it came with my Half Life 1 bundle with Opposing Force and Blue Shift. While TF2 is by no means bad, i think i prefer this version. When you use Foxbot, it's quite the fun time.
It’s a good game, but it’s dead to the core
The game is died. Also, the TF2 is free to play and workable on any potato PC. So, it is recommended to play TF2 better thant TF classic.

The Source remake of Quake Team Fortress. It's not super balanced between it's classes but it's still very fun and the best way to hear "EXCUSE ME I'M IN NEED OF MEDICAL ATTENTION!"

Finally, a Team Fortress update.

It’s a fun game, it’s a shame that it’s dead to the core I admit it gets hard to find a server and when I do it usually has 2-3 people on there, it may be a different story for other countries but Australian TFC servers are all dead, but apart from that problem it’s a fine game theirs nothing wrong with it, you could say that the fps aspect to it sucks if you don’t like the 1990s style of fps multiplayer games but I don’t care, however their is a much clearer and dare I say more of a story that makes sense for tf2, TFC is a 10/10 when it’s not dead, this game has absolutely nothing wrong with it.
TF2 IS STILL BETTER.

much more chaotic than its sequel, servers are not active much of the day but it is so much fun when you get in a match

Why doesn't the art have the cyan lambda? Counter Strike has the yellow lambda, why no cyan lambda? Good game but it seriously bothers me
There's not really anyone playing TFC nowadays. It's kinda fun to see how the classes acted back in the day but don't really expect much here, it's certainly playable but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it unless it's bundled in the Valve complete pack or something like that
10/10 Great game you should play this if you're computer can't run team fortress 2 properly if it lags alot for you, this is the game for you

Oh, also, here are some reccomendations:
If you feel as if the weapon models are too 1999-ish, i reccommend "WARFIGHTER TFC Weapon Pack", a mod for the game, which can be found in Gamebanana.
I'd also reccommend "FoxBot (0.77)", also found in Gamebanana, if you want some practice before hopping onto online servers.
One last thing:
Grenades suck. Im glad Valve removed them when making Team Fortress 2.

Really fun game, but not many people play it. So I recommend downloading "foxbot" and playing with offline bots if that suits you. A lot different than tf2 but its still pretty fun.

I dont actually recomend it but i like it a lot. This game has either the feeling of loneliness or the feeling of chaos. I like it play it with friends and randoms (also if there are people that their name's start with "Mr." they are bots to help to have more fun and dont feel too much loneliness.
as a person who's only played this for a very short amount of time, all i have to say is this game has charm
