Hey fellow ninjas!
As some of you may have noticed, Super House Of Dead Ninjas is back from the dead thanks to Bitmap Bureau, which is the studio that Mike (the designer / programmer) formed after Megadev. We've now been able to take back control of the game, meaning it's now available to buy once again on Steam. On top of that we also have some big news to announce in the coming months which we think you'll all be interested to hear, so watch this space!

About the Game
Super House of Dead Ninjas is an action arcade game with roguelite elements. Race against a 30 second timer as you descend floor after foe-filled floor and attempt to unlock the secrets of this deadly tower!
Play as the fearsome Crimson Ninja, wielding an arsenal of deadly ninja weapons and attacks. Ninja magic generates every tower randomly, so no two adventures are the same! Based on the hit Flash game from developers Megadev and Adult Swim Games.

Cool little roguelike platformer. I had some fun with it.
This is an excellent game with well thought out characters, weapons, enemies and maps. I've played it for many hours and it is always a challenge.

I think it's scummy that content can't be made available for purchase if the license can't be renewed (or whatever happened to this game). We lost a real one with this sunset.

Fun little gem.
I know this game has mostly positive reviews, but for me, it's mostly an exercise in frustration. I hate being time in video games, so this makes me feel like I need to hurry; yet the entire game is designed to be a literal death trap. PLUS the game is literally insulting you the entire time, which doesn't help. I barely have any free time anymore, so this isn't my idea of fun.
Unless you have an ocean of both patience and free time, I would not recommend getting this game.
This game is truly something special and it's a damn shame it's no longer available.

This game is very fun and pretty addictive. The controls and flow of the game is very fluid.

Very sad that this game is gone from steam. It deserved better.
A genuinely exceptional arcade platformer that simultaneously rewards careful planning and moving at breakneck speeds. Boasts super-tight controls and beautiful art, but I feel the sound design is the real star. You don't have much time left, so don't sleep on it!

The sundown announcement is sad.
I highly recommend this game. I never reviewed it because I have played it many times over the years, off and on, and it's not one of those games you think about a lot. You play it, enjoy it for a couple hours then do something else. Like a crossword puzzle.
This is a great modern arcade style game with Roguelike elements to give it that arcade feel at home. The only way it works anymore since you don't use quarters. The upgrades to weapons really change up your strategies for runs, and as you can tell while I have had this game since roughly around the time it came out, and only have 2.3 hours listed, it doesn't take very long per run. Especially if you don't play it too regularly like me and never get good enough at it. Usually I fail to get to the end.
This feels like a sharp left turn, but the music in this game is also good.
Despite my terrible review, because I really don't have much to say about the game other than I like to play it sometimes (I have had it installed on my PC since I bought it and I do that with very few games), it's still fun to play in bursts like most arcade games. I recommend getting it before you no longer can.
Real shame to lose this game from Steam. Love this little gem, I think it's a brilliant little thing.
Posting before this game gets delisted. A rougelike platformer with great movement and visuals. For less than a 2024 McChicken this game is a steal.

It's a shame this game will be delisted in a few days. Super House of Dead Ninjas is one of my favorite games on my Steam Deck because the action is tight and concise. Graphics and sounds are in point too. Seriously, this is one of the best action rougelikes and WB Games is just gonna delist it.
Despite the disclaimer, it runs flawlessly on the Steam Deck.

Fun game, haven't played it since 2018. Too bad they are delisting it.
Cool little action platformer with roguelike elements. It was ahead of its time at release and still plays great today. It's a disservice that it's being delisted. Both it and its DLC are worth your time if this sort of game appeals to you at all.
This game and its DLC are still somehow getting delisted soon. How any company can be too lazy to preserve a game by just handing it off to somebody else, possibly even for money (the only language WB speaks, apparently, assuming they haven't all been replaced by poorly designed AIs by now), is a complete mystery to me. This game does not deserve such a fate. It's fun, fast-paced, and has ninjas! F*ck you Zsasz and f*ck you WB.
Really fun arcade-style game, unfortunately it's being delisted from Steam in 2 weeks so grab it now if you're interested. The base game is on sale for $1.39 and the DLC is $3, I recommend both.
Beautiful little game, get this before it delists soon.
