Muito bom, o melhor plataforma que eu joguei
Extremely addictive gameplay and I've only ever seen the first few levels
10/10
great game
Spelunky is a game all about making mistakes, and learning from your mistakes.
There are a lot of things which one-hit-kill you. In any other game, this would be Suck and Shit, but Spelunky is never unfair. Maybe the first time you encounter a trap it feels unfair (How did I know this rock with an eye would suddenly start moving and crush me?!), but once you learn how it works, you start thinking and learning and experimenting ways to work around it.
And it's beautiful.
Once you learn how the game works, it's possible to beat the whole thing, from start to finish, without getting hurt. It's all about applying what you've learned. It's beautiful. I want to give this game a smooch and a toasted peanut jelly sandwich
worth the carpal tunnel
ass (too hard)
good fun... though its a steep learning curve at the start... lots of ways to die
Spelunky is a gem. It’s the perfect blend of exploration, strategy, and platforming that makes it super addictive. Each run feels unique thanks to the randomly generated levels, which keeps it fresh and challenging. Sometimes it can be frustrating when you lose everything to an unexpected trap, but that just motivates you to get better. The controls are precise, the retro visual style is charming, and discovering the game’s secrets is so rewarding. Definitely one of those games that can keep you hooked for hours without realizing it.
U have to get used to it and should not get rushed by time...but the ghost
Straight up one of the best roguelikes of all time. I first played it on Xbox Live Arcade when I was younger, and loved it with all my heart. Every single run is so radically different from each other that it makes this game endlessly replayable. It's not an easy game either, which just adds to the enjoyment and is pretty simple. Just an incredible title that deserves so much more respect and attention.
i cant believe it... they removed it from xbox. so here i am now.
Brilliant Game. Expertly designed. Feels good to play. The only problem being the generation algorithm. Sometimes it may generate too many traps and enemies which may be very difficult to tackle, so the algorithm needs a refinement. Other than that had a blast playing it. Now onto Spelunky 2!!!
Mastery of this game feels spiritual in nature.
Its a classic. Even though Spelunky 2 is a straight improvement, this is still worth checking out.
Quite spectacular. Enlightening at times. Spelunk alone or spelunk with friends, embark on a magical journey through computer-generated caves filled with wonderful--yet TERRIFYING--creatures such as snakes, spiders, and women.
too hard for me, but that's a me problem - the game is amazing
Best and simplest Rougelite.
Good video game
The cave kills you, again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and.....
You can use dead hookers as a weapon, 10/10.
challenging and amazing rogue like
enraging
I keep accidentally tossing the damsel into the spikes.
It's fun. Has no Steam Cloud support though. But it's a great roquelike. Get it on sale.
I love beating my totally, ethically owned slave (Bob) and then seeing him freak out resulting into activating a trap which incidentally angers the slave owner forcing me to engage in a skirmish which ends in my demise.
Very good item, I would love to purchase Bob again in my next life after reincarnation.
Whelp, now that ive had my fill of the game after finally managing to kill olmec AND ESCAPING WITH MY LIFE INTACT, on my 5-6th time on making it to olmec, ive died/clocked in many many attempts at this point at the game as a whole, its time for a review (mainly because all the recent reviews ive seen arent really review's and are just "game is gud, play it, or game is hard, but fun")
This game is an unforgiving platformer that gets harder the deeper you get. As you explore you will collect gems/gold that you will use to buy items in the various kinds of shops that you will come across during your adventure's. You buy equipment such as bombs, ropes, equipment that give's you access to new abilities like the jet pack giving you temp flight, the cape that slows your descent, glue to make your bombs stick to stuff and so on, to help you along the way.
There are no puzzles in this game either like i saw in another review. There are secret doors but thats about it beside's the game's "secret" last stage "hell" which involves you getting 4 (i think) items to unlock it. Wont go into much about it but their are guide's about it in the guide section. It is an extra 3 stages + boss stage that give's a slightly different ending to the default one.
That all being said, this game has stuff that will hurt you that you wont find in the vast majority of games out there. Here is a list of some of the ways that you can take damage from or straight up die.
1. Rocks/arrows/broken arrows being ricocheted back at you from being too close to an explosion.
2. Contact damage
3. Being knocked down/stun locked to death by certain enemies.
4. All explosions will kill you (from what ive seen, maybe you can survive if you have 10+ health, i dunno).
5. Being squished to death (watch out for the blocks that look like the ceiling spiky dude's that fall from ceilings in the mario games, they are in the temple world except they will charge you both vertically and horizontally, you will survive if they touch you, but if they squish you vs the wall/ground your DED).
6. The pink circle's the anubis dude's in the temple lvl shoot out will 1 shot you.
7. The bug's the mummy in the temple lvl spits out will knock you back and deal 2 dmg a hit but since he spits them out inb swarms, if you get caught in the swarm, your most likely DED.
8. Lava obviously and the pit in the ice world.
9. Being frozen by the wolly mammoth's in the ice world and them then walking into you and you going POP.
Also, the shop keepers are very temperamental. It's like "Hey, even though your at the top of the lvl and im located at the bottom, past your ability to look down and see/locate any monsters and act accordingly, because this monster some how damaged me or the monster triggered a trap and the trap hit me, im blaming you 100% and gonna lay the smack down on your candy ass boy! YER DED!" (this happened to me 3-5 times during my many run throughs and it sucks since if you piss off the shopkeeper, their will ALWAYS be one at the exit of the lvl with a shot gun that will do everything in his power to kill you).
If you use a bomb inside, above or a bit behind his shop, it will set him off and he will again label you a terrorist and will hunt you down. It is also slightly uncommon for an arrow trap to be positioned right infront of the entrance to his shop, so again, if you or something trigger's it, and the arrow so much as bop's him on the shoulder, he and all of his shop keeper buddies, will begin their witch hunt for you.
This also applies if you pick up the golden head statue thingy and set off the rolling rock, that rock makes the shop keeper go splat, again, it will ignite the war with the shop keepers. Now, if your wondering if their is an ease way to deal with the shop keepers, whelp, their is a guide in the guide section that gives some good ideas. From my personal experience, if you got the sticky bomb item, if you can land 1 sticky bomb on them, it should (i believe, might be wrong) take them out in 1 go. Having the jet pack helps in this regard too in dealing with them during the one run where i managed to make it to olmec after waging war with them.
Also, you should know, some review's have talked about getting softlocked and being forced to restart. This can 100% happen (had it happen to me at least once, or possible twice i think, cant recall, i got ded alot during this game since it only take's 1 mistake alot of the time to die regardless of your hp total). It generally happen's when you run out of ropes and bombs or your out of 1 of the 2 and only got 1 left of the other and you get a very ugly level lay out.
But ya, the amount of way's you can die/straight up be like "Whelp, im boned" is truely astounding. Their is so much to learn when playing this game. Even in my victory run, i still learned about how the olmec fight worked. Cause i tried the strat where you walk right up to the head of the knocked out bird dude and mimic'ed the "tight fight all the way down" strat that i saw most youtuber's do, but it did not work for me cause unlike all the vid's i saw, olmec ended up spawning toads all the damn time and did not kill them by spawning them inside of him when he rose upwards (seriously, be wary of some of the youtube vid's, it looks ease because they got lucky with spawns or were able to spam ropes and kill the monsters or had almost no monsters to kill in regards to this strat).
Ended up dying as olmec fell into the lava 4 times because i either had WAY too many mobs above me and not enough ropes to deal with them, or could not hit them with the ropes/time i had access too.
Ended up going with the strat where you kill the knocked out bird dude then run all the way to the right near the exit and discovered you would be out of olmec's aggro range and discovered if your out of his aggro range, he wont spawn monsters, then i used my large bomb supply (had 20 bombs on me with 1 rope left at this point) and made as good a pit as i could into the lava, then lured olmec over, got to the edge to the point where your character does the "teeter over the edge" animation, then down he dropped.... but i did not make the hole good enough lol, thankfully still had 13 bombs left, tossed 1 down (thankfully made a good throw, and it was normal bombs, i avoided the sticky bombs since i felt they might be problamatic for this strat) and down he went.
But ya, at the end of the day, this is not an ease game at all, and due to lvl layout being random, sometime's it can be much harder then normal. Id also recommend watching the store pag vid, it offers alot of insight in terms of some of the game's secrets and how some stuff works. Oh, and i should also inform you, you can throw anything straight or close to straight up and down, everything get's throw in a curve of some fashion, which can make setting off traps a pain in the ass some time's.
Also, the game does NOT have steam cloud, so you will have to manually back up your save file as a heads up (spelunky 2 has steam cloud, but not this one). Now, do i recommend this game? Whelp, id say wait for a sale first since it's generally always MUCH cheaper during any seasonal sale/when it is on sale when compared to its default price, since the game is 11 years old.
But over all, if your up for a challenge and somewhat like platformers, and the game is on sale, id say yes, id recommend it, but i must state, the game is NOT by any means ease (assuming your playing the game the way its meant to be played, vanilla style and not modding it to make it easer because apparently their are many mods out their for this game). So be prepared to die and say "Bullshit! That is such bullshit damnit!" or drop a few F bombs on more then one occasion because chance's are, it will happen with you dying. 7/10 stars, hard game.
This game is like cbt except without the c or the b.
Great classic, The second is my favorite, but this still has its charm.
Note to self - stop buying games tagged 'Difficult'. You are not going to be able to do them!
I think this is a good game and it kinda reminded me of the Rick Dangerous games. Yes, that's how old I am. But it's equally as unforgiving and the randomly generated levels mean it's very difficult to learn from my mistakes and actually progress. I can see myself giving up on it sooner rather than later, which will be a shame as it seems Spelunky has a lot more to offer. Just maybe too inaccessible for a bad gamer like me.
No steam cloud and keeps crashing on my high ends pc
spelunky too harfs!!!
this game is hard and i love it
First played the game 10 years ago and lost my save data moving to a new comp somehow so I played through and unlocked everything again recently. Excellent game with some of the best learning/progression I've ever played. Definitely a thinker's game its not meant to be played fast paced like super meat boy or mega man. The controls and mechanics are nearly perfect so you can utilize a lot of precision moves to stay alive and get more items and gold reliably when you get good at the game. A good amount of challenges and content to play after beating the game.
If you are a fan of puzzle platformers, rougelikes and want a challenge you will love this game.
It can be very punishing and unforgiving so its not for everyone. If you are not good at platform games you probably will not have fun until you learn everything about it.
A-X-O-L-O-T-L MY TIME HAS COME TO PLAY SPELUNKY HD AGAIN I PLEASE JUST KILL ME
play now
perfect survival platformer, but also brutal and hard, upgrades, secrets, tiny install less then 200mb, game will work on any old pc, different biomes, random level generator, each new run is suprise...prepare to die often, its just how this game works, tons of fun!
Spelunky is just as spectacular (and brutal) as I remember, even after all these years.
The walls are shifting...
Maybe it was good in 2013?
cool game
The real deal, and I played the OG (Spelunky Classic) growing up, with some cool mods.
Still prefer the graphics to the new one.
Back to the Roots!
Spelunky - commonly referred to as Spelunky HD and technically the second installment in the Spelunky series - is a roguelike platformer that, while being somewhat dated, still provides a lot of frustrating fun.
Odds are that, if you are looking at reviews for Lunky HD, you either already played a fair amount of Spelunky 2 and are considering getting this game too to scratch that certain itch even more - or that you are completely new to the whole franchise and are considering to use HD as an entry point into the series. And in both cases I will say: While Spelunky 2 is objectively speaking the better and more polished game, Spelunky HD still has its own charm and is definitely worth diving into!
You start every run with 4 health, 4 ropes and 4 bombs and try to make it out alive somehow. Throughout the run you will collect lots of treasure, fight many different enemies and (hopefully) avoid all kinds of traps, with levels getting more dangerous and devious the further you make it.
Throughout the randomly generated levels there are many items to be found, hidden characters to unlock, shortcuts to dig, secret levels to discover and so on.
Spelunky HD has its own charm that many players still consider unreached by its successor, with a very fitting OST, an old-fashioned but charming art style and many janky but also somewhat loveable game mechanics. For example: shopkeepers will get angry at you whenever they or their shop get damaged by any source - whether it was you, a trap or an enemy that acted completely outside of your control. And since shopkeeper aggro is virtually impossible to remove in HD, many runs turn into unintended shopkeeper wars on their own. Some of the movement and gameplay mechanics also don't feel nearly as smooth as they do in Lunky 2 (looking at you, climbing gloves) and also I'm convinced that every single frog in this game comes with it's own seperate hitbox and AI.
But even with all those flaws, Spelunky HD is still a very fun game that is worth checking out - regardless of whether or not you already own Spelunky 2. The game can get frustrating at times, but making progress also feels very satisfying. It definitely still is a great game to spin up for a run or two every now and then. And of course: Happy Spelunky-ing!
S
It's freakin spelunky man
