The Binding of Isaac — это двухмерный шутер со случайно генерируемыми уровнями и элементами ролевых и роуглайк (Rogue-like) игр.

Very fun and engaging so many possibilities and a difficult final boss.
It is not for everyone as it can be gory but it is a lot of fun.
its so fun most of all isaac is fun for all players ho play but there are new ones to play it now
Very good game but mine and my friends keyboard freeze whenever we play it? it usually ends up getting us killed so its really annoying. Still a good game
Most vile and screwed up version of the TBOI games.
500 hours on Repentance and going to Flash/Warth of the lamb is like getting a lobotomy.
9.1/10 game.
Game is super duper coomer good. You get to stop time by using your mom's bra, piss on enemies to kill them, enslave a meat cube boy and have him attack for you. You can also make deals with the devil to help you kill your mom, allat shenanigans.
This is basically Legend of Zelda if it were designed by someone with serious psychological problems.
very unique game
also hard
but try with controller
use left stick for move, xyab to shoot
trigger for item
its easier
It’s solid game when it comes to gameplay, moving around and shooting tears feels smooth and satisfying. But the story and overall theme are pretty dark and borderline creepy, which might not sit well with everyone.
This game was my childhood as a kid. I played the flash version religiously (heh). I bought it on steam years ago but havent played it much. I have played a whole lot of rebirth though. very good games
I played Isaac as a little kid on my grandparents windows 7 and its a amazing game and you should buy it
Fun game, definitely worth playing. Lots of items, enemies, and rooms to discover; I am excited to play Rebirth!
I grew up watching gameplays of TBOI on youtube like many others. It's an incredible game that you can spend thousand of hours playing and not get tired of it. Such a gem of an indie game.
This release of The Binding of Isaac may seem obsolete when the most current version, Repentance, trounces Flash Isaac in terms of content and polish. Rebirth and the subsequent expansions have improved on the game by moving away from Flash and changing item generation mechanics to allow for more unique runs. Flash Isaac still holds up by having more consistent difficulty throughout runs. Each run generally feel a lot more tense in Flash Isaac, with every individual item and pickup feeling important to the success of the run. This is especially true in Eternal Edition's hard mode, which is insane in the best possible way. Fully completing Flash Issac is a very gratifying experience because wins feel earned through skill and game knowledge. This contrasts heavily with Repentance, where many runs feel like complete blowouts after grabbing a few strong items. Repentance is still the best version of Issac to date because of the amount of high quality content and high run variance, but this version is also worth playing for anyone who just can't get enough Isaac.
The Binding of Isaac is a dark, addictive roguelike that combines fast-paced dungeon crawling with endless replayability. Every run feels unique thanks to its random levels, bizarre power-ups, and twisted enemies. Its mix of challenging gameplay and hidden secrets keeps you coming back for "just one more try." The game's dark humor and disturbing yet creative design make it memorable, while its difficulty rewards skill and perseverance. A must-play for roguelike fans who love chaos and surprises.
this game is great!! I love the controls, the boss fights are amazing, each run is more fun then the last, and the difficulty is perfect on some runs.
trust me this one is good TRUST and the DLC is tbh worth the money
Why are you even looking at this listing? Rebirth has been out for years, and improves on this game in every respect. Go play that one.
Great game. Played a lot. For newcomers I suggest going directly for Rebirth.
I relate to being a small, scared and naked toddler.
It's okay I guess.

For real though this game has a ton of replayability. The addition of hard mode has been exciting and interesting. Totally worth the price for the amount of gameplay you can get out it. It's also an easy game to come back to. It doesn't really have a story you have to keep track of and has isolated runs you can do that are usually less than an hour making it an easy game to just pick up and play as often as you feel.
Played this before rebirth (+ all DLCs), and even though i prefer rebirth, the classic flash isaac is so underrated too! Yes, i wont sugarcoat it its harder, the start is rougher than in the remake, but its still a challenging roguelike that can be enjoyed by many fans of the genre
*The Binding of Isaac* is one of those games that pulls you in with its chaotic randomness and keeps you coming back for more, even after you've been crushed by its brutal difficulty. The first time I played, I had no idea what I was getting into—one moment I was breezing through rooms, and the next I was dying to some grotesque boss I wasn’t prepared for. It’s punishing, but in a way that makes you want to learn and improve with every run.
What really keeps me hooked is how unpredictable each playthrough is. You never know what items you’ll find, and the combos can be game-changing. Sometimes I get a ridiculous, overpowered build that feels like I’m unstoppable, and other times, I’m stuck with a terrible set of items that make each room a struggle. It’s that balance of excitement and frustration that makes *Isaac* so addictive.
The art and atmosphere are quirky and disturbing in all the right ways. The weird, hand-drawn monsters, the creepy soundtrack, and the unsettling story all add to the game’s charm. It’s a game that doesn’t hold your hand—every victory feels earned, and every death feels like a lesson learned.
I wouldn’t call it a game for everyone, but if you love a good challenge and don’t mind dying over and over, *The Binding of Isaac* is one of the best rogue-like experiences out there.
The only thing person that cried more than this depressed child is me trying to finish this game
It may be a good game but there is performance issue, constant fps drops especially when enemies start shooting bullets, not recommended
In spite of a remake thats more stable and expanded. This is without a doubt still worth checking out if you like the later one. Especially with its low cost (even better during sales).
There's almost something more charming about this version, and much tighter feeling in its experience (game breaking runs aside).
"Dark, Addictive, and Brilliantly Unique!"
The Binding of Isaac is an absolute gem for fans of roguelikes. Its procedurally generated dungeons and complex item synergies ensure endless replayability and strategic depth. The game’s dark themes, paired with a quirky art style and an immersive soundtrack, create a uniquely compelling atmosphere. Every run challenges your skills, with each victory feeling like a hard-won triumph. The vast expansions add even more content, making it a game you’ll keep coming back to. If you love deep, challenging gameplay, Isaac is a must-play!
I have a soft spot for abrahamic lore. The creator is an eccentric weirdo. You could play this game for years and not see all the content and combinations. If you like Rouge Like, this one is top tier,
The original Flash Isaac is a very challenging game yet a great game nonetheless. If you've never played this game you should definitely give TBoI Rebirth or Afterbirth a try, (they're much easier than this original game, look better, and play better too.) That isn't to say this first game is bad it's quite the opposite. It's just I personally have what we call in the biz' a "skill issue" so I suck at this game, that won't subtract points though as I recognize how well made, challenging, and fun this game is. Would recommend : 10 crying babies out of 10
10/10 but the rng will kick your ass, you've gotta stick with the game to get better at it. but it's awesome i love it, i highly suggest investing that time into it
Dark and brilliant plot and gameplay
Nice game but they forgot to add an easy mode. How many hours they expect you to practice this one game to actually be able to play it?
The most overhyped, broken and dumb roguelike piece of shit to ever exist.
nostalgia of getting the money for this outta my drunk father's pissed pant pocket man, isaac my little guy in faith.
The game is completely broken for me I accidentally played with the display settings and now It is only a small white tab in the corner. I tried everythinng but cant fix it
A little dark for some audience's, but it's super fun for those who like the gloomy! Fun boss fights and cool powers to gain during a play through.
The game does not run on windows 11 in my experience, I tried getting it to work on my laptop nearly a few days after purchasing the laptop with nothing else to interfere with making it run. I don't like the game to try to make it run anymore at this point so I will simply remove it from my library so I dont need to think of it again.
One of the most fun games you will play. Every time you play this game you'll get something different, and that variability is what makes it very fun.
Exactly as I remember it, only remembered this game from like a google unlocked website back in like 2014 off a school laptop. Saw it on sale and it is honestly more fun than I remembered it being. Overall 10/10 great time killer but tread lightly with this game if you have anger issues lol it can quite rage inducing at times.
A weird "Legend of Zelda - The Insane Poop" game. I don't hate it but I can't get to like this one either.
Decent for it's time, but maybe it was just ported wrong, the game doesn't feel the best, feels kind of janky.
this is one of the greatest games i have played as a close second to undertale. i would heavily recommend this game to anyone and i need to play it more.
nice game, lotta nostalgia from me but still holds up pretty well

Amazing game heard that some people like this game so much and i think the praise is correct i could play this for hours all i need is some food drink a yoga ball and a nice desk
10/10 game, great time killer. challenging but not too hard for new players, I would definitely recommend it.
I know people get nostalgia boners for this game perma but I can't like is highkey shit, no reason to ever play this if you have rebirth
I can recommend this game, if you get the right version. I bought the original and was disappointed a few times when I bought DLC then found out there was yet another DLC that was incompatible with my purchases. I ended up buying them all but I feel price gouged by the way McMillen handled that. I get that it costs money to make games but I've watched other developers, like The Fun Pimps, who spent a decade updating their games and never asked for one extra dime.
As for the game itself, it has a hefty RNG mechanic that forces you to choose between upgrades and where to go and what to do. Sometimes that can be great. I got lucky enough in one playthrough to get a combination of buffs that allowed me to absolutely destroy everything in every room I entered without being hit. In other playthroughs I had to struggle to take down bosses with half a heart and the weakest abilities of them all.
You get a lot of content for the final version of the game and it is worth the expense. As someone who supported the developer from the beginning, however, I do feel kind of cheated. There isn't anything here that reinvents the wheel but it took the fun aspects of a lot of games, particularly the original Legend of Zelda, and added a few more mechanics that are both fun and frustrating at the same time.
Oh, and if you are religious, you should absolutely avoid this game. It will piss you off on many levels. I thought it was quirky but the biblical overtones get boring with a game so repetitive.
The Binding of Isaac, a game that’s somehow hailed as a masterpiece of roguelike design by many. Now, don’t get me wrong—I’m all for dark, twisted narratives and difficult games. But let’s be real: calling Isaac “brilliant” feels like some weird hazing ritual where everyone pretends that suffering equals fun.
Isaac, our sad little protagonist, who lives in a house where his mom has decided God wants her to sacrifice him. Naturally, Isaac decides that running through a trapdoor into the basement filled with monsters is the better alternative to a psychotic parent with a knife. You know, just a regular Tuesday.
After a while, the story fades into the background, and what’s left is the grind. Any emotional or thematic depth is suffocated by endless runs through grimy, repetitive basement rooms.
Isaac’s primary weapon? His tears. At first, you feel bad for him. But then you realize you can upgrade those tears. Suddenly, you’re firing lasers of sadness, or even homing despair missiles. And it’s oddly empowering.
The item system in The Binding of Isaac is like going to a flea market blindfolded: you don’t know what you’re picking up, and half the time, it’s something completely useless. Worse, many items straight-up ruin your run.
The game has endless replayability thanks to its randomization. But here’s the dirty secret: endless randomization doesn’t mean endless fun. There are only so many ways you can mash together the same pixelated rooms, enemies, and poop piles before it all starts to blur together. The gameplay loop, while initially addicting, becomes a slog. At some point, it stops being about the thrill of discovery and becomes about pushing through to see if maybe—just maybe—this run will finally break your losing streak.
The art style makes you go, “Aw, that’s horrifyingly adorable!” as you slaughter your way through deformed enemies that ooze and explode in grotesque ways. Monsters that feel like they were pulled straight out of a middle schooler’s notebook doodles. It’s an edgy, almost try-hard attempt at being dark and disturbing, but after a while, the shock value wears off and you’re left with a pile of pixelated poop enemies. Literally.
For those who enjoy pain and suffering, sure, this might be the perfect game. But for the rest of us who don’t equate unfair randomness with good design, The Binding of Isaac feels more like a test of patience than a test of skill. It’s not terrible—but overrated? Absolutely.
Currently you can get the original for just 3 dollars. I think it's a great deal or you can get the bundle with all the new characters for just a few dollars more.
