No More Room in Hell

I've played this game for a long time and every bit was enjoyable.

Pros -
1. Two modes - Survival and Objective completion
2. Good amount of player base and many servers to choose from
3. Gameplay will get you hooked if you're into zombie objective completion type games.
4. Many weapons to choose from
6. Players can get infected and turn into zombies
7. Some maps are really challenging.
8. In obective maps, you can respawn maximum 2 times( some have 3 ) at various stages of map. This may be a con to some but I like this.

Cons -
1. Some rare zombie and player getting stuck somewhere
2. Server music keeps on playing and I don't know how to stop it. Just like CS 1.6 if you have played it. It plays even after you've left the server
3. Some guns are weird to shoot and won't hit the target like in other games. Especially, the sniper rifles.


It is better to play this game in team or you get killed very early in the round start. However, if you have enough practice, it becomes easy to be a lone wolf. And like L4D, this game would be different everytime you play it. Highly recommended!

Good multiplayer zombie game, just survive. Really, the zombies are not challenging and it's just a bunch of objectives. You can play this game and get some enjoyment.

A really good blend of classic zombie doomsday situations with co-op gameplay that emulates the dynamics of a group of strangers attempting to work together in a crisis (i.e. people can be a bit of a dick). Being free, and easy to run, makes this essential for all PC-owning zombie fans.

Awesome game. One of bests free games on Steam.
You can play chain objectives maps or defensive maps (where you can make barricades).
If bitten you become a zombie and attack your friends.

It´s not just a random shotting like left 4 dead. Here you have few bullets, and must make a good use of them.
Teamwork is the key here.

I have found 1 or 2 bugs in some maps, where the player get stucks in the wall. But still a great game.

I prefer the modes where you clear a level as opposed to holding the points and getting overun. The game does feel dated but it's still fun once you get the hang of it and it's even better with friends. Kind of like an alternative clunky left 4 dead game. It's free so it's easy to recommend.

One of the very rare sightings of a free to play game that is actually and literally free to play with no strings attached, no microtransactions, no bullshit. Just pure survival zombie shooter with coop, great level desing, awesome atmosphere and many gameplay elements which will be appreciated by any fan of the genre.

I love this game but I have to say, the negative reveiws are a little lacking in context. I mean the only reason I got this game was because of a reveiw that talked about how terrible the games mechanics. The OP had 0.1 hours on it, so I had to check it out.

MY REVIEW

PROS
This game has taken zombie survival into a new sort of way making it harder and the environment in the game is creepy and scary, I really enjoy playing this with friends and the ammo is so scarce that to a point that you fight with your bare hands or melee. I suggest this game even though its a few years old coming from the Half-Life 2 engine.

CONS
There are some missing 'features' but I can tolerate it since this game was developed as a mod for HL2, Those that are lacking are like proning, broken animations, more missions, probably a capability for a player to become a zombie like in Contagion. Hmmm, also different categories of zombies like for example, runner, raging zombie or a aggressive ghoul which is very fast. Plus we need more variety of weapons.

OVERALL
This game is very unique in a way that people will love and enjoy playing over and over again, The replayability is endless especially with more friends in tthe picture. This game deservers a remake although I heard that they (Developers of NMRIH) are making NMRIH 2 running in Unreal Engine instead of Source Engine, That'll be cool since Unreal has nice graphics and features. I hope when they release NMRIH 2 I suggest that it will be purchasable since the developers created a amazing game same as the old one but even better!

Fun Mod/Game

No More Room in Hell is a co-op first person shooter taken place in a zombie filled apocalypse.
The mod or "game" can be challenging to new players as it's extremely hardcore.

No More Room in Hell is a fun and challenging free to play "game" on steam consisting of relatively large amounts of content as a mod. The overall gameplay is perfected, but it holds a few bugs that could be easily fixed.
Even though this game turned 6 years old, it still feels like a brand new game when I come back to it.
I would recommend this to any hardcore first person shooter fanboy or that one guy in his mid thirties that watches The Walking Dead.

NMRiH is one of the best Source mods of all time with a unique realistic approach to Zombie Apocalypse; you will feel isolated and will be punished for the slightest hiccup. Getting bitten once may lead to catching the virus therefore zombification.

The best free game available on Steam. It doesn't demand a lot considering the system requirements, so it will probably even run on a potato pc. In this game, teamwork is the most important element, especially if you are new and don't know how to handle the zombies or how to finish a map (e.g. where to find the objectives or the extraction zone). Compared to other zombie games, such as L4D/2 or Killing Floor, this one is more slow-paced, yet offers an highly realistic and tactical gameplay. The variety of maps allows the player to choose between an either short map, which can be completed within 5-10 minutes, or a longer one (survival maps in particular) to enjoy the waves of zombie slashing.

Another masterfully implemented mod of the source engine, No More Room in Hell will give you a lot of fun.
The game uses a more realistical approach on the zombie survival genre while offering two game modes: survival and objective missions.
While the survival missions are quite simple, they are very enjoyable and fun, holding the zombies while you wait for extraction at wave 10.
The objective ones are more broad and offer variation within big maps, and while some are easier than others they are still a good adventure. Another fact is that such maps possess variation between rounds, so you will have another route of objectives to execute.
Most of the maps also contain secrets and special features.
You are not a superhero: you will bleed, you will be infected and you can also suicide yourself for the greater good of the group.

Overall review:

Pros:

- Free game.
- Extremely fun with friends (the more people you play, the better).
- Realistic gun mechanics and decent melee combat while keeping a good gameplay.
- Nice graphics (taking in account the fact that the game was made in 2011).
- Extremely well made animations of itens and weapons in first person.
- Very good optimization (very few bugs, and no performance issues at all).
- Good gun and attack sounds.
- Characters possess a varied soundbank of quick chat commands, giving you quick communication with your fellow survivors.
- The VOIP inside the game simulates real conversation, the far you are from another player, the lower is your voice (you can use an in game walkie talkie to communicate from afar without issues).
- Lots of maps with good level design.
- Two map types with lot of variation.
- Very good amount of guns and melee weapons (arround 20 firearms and a bow, and 20 melee weapons, there are also 3 throwable explosives).
- People still play this game to this day (so you will find people to play with you without a problem).

Cons:

- Few zombie models (you will kill the same zombies all over again).
- Some animations of ammo checking are wrong.
- Playing alone is difficult in most cases (not recommended to play alone, this is a cooperative game after all).
- Sometimes the zombie attack animation can be quite poor (depending on you position).
- The music is quite boring (my personal opinion, maybe you will like it).

While the game has minor flaws, it is a very enjoyable experience and will bring you and your friends lots of desperating moments and agony (the good kind of it).
A good adventure.

A very well done realistic zombie survival game with realistic combat, to fun custom and default maps and community made modes and default modes this game is sure to make you want to play zombie games a lot more.

this game was cool in his early days, when ads were rare and short... but now its like hell ! I just played to try to relax and i ended hearing more ads than bullets being fired ... you just cant focus with those ads that are either too loud or too long ... or both! this game for used to be like (8/10) but now if it keeps on going like this i think i will just quit from it -.-"

Bash the heads of zombies and occasionally your teammates with fists or a sledgehammer. Shoot zombies and sometimes your teammates in the head! Instead of hoarding, why not share all that ammo you're carrying, because you're not really going to use 5.56 with 9mm pistols? Don't forget to bring a friend!

No More Room in Hell is a neat little HL2 mod, that i'd honestly recommend over other zombie games for many, many reasons, such as having an unique atmosphere that really takes you into the game on a perspective where you'll have to work as a team instead of just being a mindless shooter that literally anyone could play.

That being said, NMRiH takes a more realistic approach on the zombie scheme; slow paced action, everything can be used to save your or someone elses ass, ammo is (fairly often) scarce and should be saved rather than just used on the first enemy on sight. It may not be as action driven as one may think but the slow paced gameplay fits really well to the impression of the apocalyptic world, where everyone is trying to survive till they get to safety.

So what about the techinal thingies?

Yes it has some bugs but most of the time you'll barely notice these minor things. Yes there could be some further fixing with the game but overall but in general the game works and functions really well.

It's a really good addition to anyones zombie game collection, no need to wait for sales or anything because it's for grabs at anytime for free!

10/10 Would bash my teammates heads in with fists again and again till i get kicked/banned

The Dead will Walk The Earth, No More Room in Hell is actually awesome game from Source engine and its really awesome and More reality then Left 4 Dead, This game is have More Cool Things to Do but Its still have pros and cons so i'll tell you what is it,

Pros: Play with friends and be like SF Team :P, you can kill yourself in the game by your hands etc Lol, Really Cool Graphic + Gameplay, its F2p and i guess they will make Part 2 of this game and i hope that, this game is really funny and there is some servers with Project missions and survivor missions, actually Words Can't change your Mind so all you had to do is Download the Game and test it.

Cons: lagging some times, if zombie stuck on you so you facked up, some times you can't win a survivor alone so if you think about that so its bad idea really :D, THE BLOODY Facking shit you will found in that game is Zombie Kids they like 5 years old zombie kids and they are faster but not strong i really hate them so much :\, you must take care some times its not Like L4D if you got bite so you have or must to find bills well again words can't change your mind so all you had to do is download the game and try it.

well that is No More Room in Hell and i really enjoyed play this game and my Rate is 8.5/10.

It's a pretty good game, but you'll have an even better time playing with friends. If you go solo all the time it can get pretty annoying after a while but you can still do it if you have the skill. Chances are like most of us you probably don't have that skill so just take it easy and enjoy it for what it is.

Great game for a free to play , very funny and extremely hard in some objective maps . Awesome if you love the classics zombie/co-op survival fps games! Theres usually a lot more things to do as u go ahead in the game and discover it . Very Good F-T-P!

When I first saw this, I expected a crappy ripoff, However, I was highly surprised when I tried it, Hard as it may be, It's very fun if you do play with your friends, Which is what I did , However , there's a distinct lack of players, But , can be very enjoyable with friends, With very challenging maps. I thoroughly enjoyed it. 7.5/10

I really wanted to enjoy this game, I really did.
But oh boy, this game is just.. Awful. I'm thankful for it being free to be honest.

I do see potential in this game, I really do. So, hopefully when maybe it's updated some more the movement of the undead and the combat can be improved. I can't count how many times I bashed one of them in the head and somehow it was still alive, and why couldn't I use an axe to break the wooden pannel across the door? I don't understand, I was at that for ages, all different angles, it just refused to work.

The one thing that slightly saved this was the soundtracks, and the at least up do date graphics, though that part of a video game isn't something that bothers me. Graphics mean nothing without story.
