Nice
Oh man, I've had such a blast with this one. I can't wait to play the next one.
I quite enjoyed this game and the series as a whole. The only ridiculous thing is a 40 hour achievement on a 6-7 hour game, other than that, this game is entertaining and also nostalgic. I remember watching this as a kid
highly recommend cause the storyline is interesting
Lucius – Murder Puzzles: The Game
★★★☆☆ (3/5)
Lucius is basically "what if The Omen was a puzzle game?" You play as a creepy little kid with demonic powers, slowly turning a mansion into a murder mystery one “accident” at a time.
The concept is super interesting and darkly fun, but the execution is kinda hit or miss. Some kills feel clever, others are just frustrating or clunky. The story leans into the evil-child trope hard, and it works... mostly.
It’s janky, weird, and honestly kinda fun in a twisted way. Not a masterpiece, but if you want to roleplay as the world’s most unsettling 6-year-old—go for it.
this games put a few inches on my dick, 100% recommend playing
yes
5/10. I like the story and the presentation, but I don't think they playtested this game at all.
the only thing all humans are equal in is death
The butler didnt do it. I did.
Lucius is such a lil jit 8/10. There's only 1 bad thing I can say about this game, is that you need 40 hours just to 100% the game, DIABOLICAL. 40 hours? Really? For a 6 - 8 hour game? wtf
Fun game with some jank, but in a good way.
.
If you remember this game from watching YouTubers playing it when you were younger and thought it looked fun, please understand that it was because those YouTubers tried really hard to make it look that way for you. Keep those good memories, and stay away from playing this game yourself.
This game is just a mess. It’s basically unplayable without a guide. There’s only one way to complete each mission. Yes, just one freakin' way!!! So, say goodbye to any creativity you think you’ll get to use. In this game, your only job is to figure out what that one fixed solution is and how many steps it takes to reach that goal. Sounds simple, right? BUT ....
The hints are useless, the controls are clunky, and it’s full of bugs. Objects are crazy hard to see or interact with, and after the mid-game, you’re completely lost with no idea of what to do, where to go, or how to progress. So, just stay away from this game for the sake of your past enjoyment with those YouTubers.
Edited: The only good thing about this game is that the achievements are easy to get. That's it. However, the concept is actually great and totally deserves a proper remake. But this version? It’s just garbage.

I thoroughly enjoyed most of what this game had to offer. I guess you could call it a slasher game, where you are the villain / monster.
The story is a bit ridiculous, the voice acting is so bad its good and the characters aren't exactly well written. But is genuinely a captivating story despite its many flaws. And i could not wait for what came next.
Its a bit clunky. But not to such an extent that it ruins the experience. The graphics are bad, at least to modern standards but it runs almost flawlessly because of this.
When i said i enjoyed most of what this game had to offer i meant it. The main story and the secrets were fun, and the kills are satisfying if not comically macabre.
However, the extra game mode is nonsensically bad and the completion was basically not worth it.
You see, in actually this game took me 11 hours to complete. However, there are two achievements that are just as cursed as the mansion the game takes place in. And that's the 20 and 40 hour achievements. They are nonsense! Legit!
So i played this game through and through in many ways and did a lot of shenanigans to get these two achievements. It did not ruin the experience but they make the 100% process of this game unnecessarily long. Compared to how much it actually takes.
Other than that, it was worth it. And except for the two arbitrary achievements towards the end. (That they removed in the demake) it was a fun game.
And its especially worth it if you don't plan on going for 100%, i guess if you're not insufferable like me you could just leave it on when you're at work or something.
8/10
6/10 if you are going for 100%
One the worse ever games I think I've played with bad controls broken mechanic I can't understand how this got very positive reviews guess people really will like crap these days.
Ended just using an steam achievement manager and an guide as it was that bad trying to even get any of the levels done I hope the devs are not around we don't want trash filling up steam now.
A small nice reverse horror game. Sadly the ending is unplayable for me on linux
The transition from that charming retro 2D world to a dark, three-dimensional space really pulled me in. While the pixel art is gone, I still found Lucius to be a fun and twisted ride. The creepy mansion, unsettling soundtrack, and dark humor kept me hooked. It’s short, but definitely left an impression. A clever little horror experience I really enjoyed.
Imagine leaving a game on for 30 hours just to get achievement...
The story is good, gameplay is too easy but fun anyway (only take me 5 hour to beat this game)
the ending didn't please me
still recommend this game to play, 7/10 game
My Opinion About This Game
This game is a 10/10.
I honestly don’t have the words for how good this game is. It’s dark, puzzling, creative — you have to find clever ways to kill, be stealthy, and think outside the box. Just wow. I was introduced to this game through YouTube when I saw a content creator playing it. Normally, when I watch someone play a game, I tend to get bored quickly when I try it myself. It’s usually more fun to watch than play.
But Lucius? It’s something different.
I got addicted to this game. I was also really motivated to complete all the achievements — and I did. 😎
I kind of compare the Lucius trilogy to the Hulk movies. The first one is a masterpiece — dark, atmospheric, and unforgettable. The second one makes you go “what the hell is happening?” but it's still great in its own chaotic way. Then the third one… well, that’s where Hulk joins Avengers team — and in Lucius III’s case, it kind of feels the same: the tone shifts, the mechanics change, and bugs are all over the place. Still has potential, but definitely needs some fixes or more say join the team.
I haven’t finished all the achievements in Lucius II and III yet, but I’m looking forward to it. Once I complete them, I’ll definitely share my thoughts on those as well.
Back to the first Lucius — this game is just wonderful. I love stealth gameplay, and this one delivers. The story is strong, and honestly, I don’t have any complaints. Even when I encountered a bug or two, it ended up being more funny than annoying.
All in all, it’s a great experience for fans of dark, horror-style games.
Thanks to the developers for this amazing experience!
Emo demon boy murders family for the exp. A very good boy indeed.
Lucius is an older title that still holds up surprisingly well today. Despite its age, the graphics and game physics remain impressive, capturing a chilling 1970s atmosphere that adds a distinct charm to its unsettling narrative. The dimly lit halls of Dante Manor, eerie background music, and vintage aesthetics all contribute to a timeless horror experience that continues to engage players years after its release.
What really sets Lucius apart is its unique concept. Instead of running from monsters, you are the threat—playing as Lucius, the devil’s son, orchestrating deaths in a Final Destination-style fashion using tricks or powers granted to you. The game’s dark, puzzle-based approach to murder is both disturbing and inventive, requiring strategy and patience rather than brute force.
While it does have occasional bugs and some dated animations, they never truly detract from the overall experience. In fact, they’ve become part of the game’s charm over time. The voice acting and storytelling, combined with its sinister tone and clever design, make Lucius a cult classic well worth revisiting.
an iconic game that really pushed the limits of the horror genre for the time
I stopped playing at chapter "Fatal Affair".
While I absolutely love the concept of this game, it is so hard to come up with ways to kill in a massive house without any tips. Sure, you have a notebook but Lucius doesn't write anything down unless you have seen something specific. If the game had a better notebook or better tips or even highlighted items in the house, it would be a lot more fun. I don't like running around for hours in a huge mansion and having to end up looking at the wiki page.
lil Jit King Von Junior da 3rd
Justice for Nancy because I'm Mommy's little helper
Ted Bundyو John W. Casey, Jeffrey Dahmerو thousands of serial killers they didn't do what this kid did.
The game director has some interesting ideas for killing people.
+RECOMENDED
I k.... 4 members of my family and my mom wanna buy me a bike for christmas 10/10
Give the devil child a timeout!
You know you want to.

I got this game after seeing a few youtubers play it when I was younger. I'm so glad I got to experience it myself. The lips don't match up with the dialogue and some of the animation is a bit funky, but that's to be expected from an older game.
Visai geras zaidimas patariu
Game just wasnt fun for me.
This isn't so much and Adventure game, it's honestly straight up a puzzle game. If I'd have known this, I wouldn't have tried it in the first place.
i feel like i have powers
The game is okay but theres definetly better ones out there, the 40 hour play achievement works weirdly and i am not doing all that bro
I recently remembered that this game existed and I revisited it... Not a great time. The visuals are pretty slick to this day, and I really enjoy the layout of the mansion. But the story and acting are atrocious, the gameplay is mindnumblingly repetitive, and the kills themselves are very inconsistent. Some kills are great! Quite a few others are clearly tacked on for more game-time. There's a lot of potential for a game like this, but the developers took a very boring route.
Lucius is the perfect example of something being so bad it's kinda good.
And it really is bad. The graphics, writing, gameplay, animations and voice acting are all poorly done. But not in a way that subtracts from the fun of the game.
The corny writing and clumsy (gory) animations are actually pretty charming in their own awkward indie kind of way.
No idea how but somehow the next games in the series actually get worse in visual quality and voice acting.
Recommended on a sale if you're looking for a unique, gory experience and don't mind some rough edges.
It is fun but I wouldn't mind a remaster/remake with better graphics and perhaps some improvements within the UI, but overall it's okay
It's a interesting game sadly it's very short but it's a really fun puzzle game, aside from 1 level that felt like it needed more time being made it's a great older game, if you want a fun short game buy this on sale
When a game suddenly has to be creative with their budget and time, sometimes cult classics such as Lucius are born. A phenomonal and clunky experience.
This game is super fun, the progression is good, kills are super over the top, story is pretty good, and the mechanics work great. I enjoyed collecting every achievement too.
Bought this game in 2019 after getting a hit of nostalgia from rewatching PewDiePie play this.
Still holds up great and is fun to play
Broken on new Hardware. CANT EVEN PLAY IT
it took me getting to the end of the game to finally memorize the house. 'twas fun, takes a lot of exploring to figure out what to do which i like. imagine my shock when i was allowed to see uncle tom's tango with one of the maids and using a peephole and everything, then i thought "well it is an early 2010s game it wasnt that big of a deal back then" so yeah, fun!
its fun?
Playing the role of Lucius, a six-year-old boy endowed with supernatural abilities, who is tasked with orchestrating deadly "accidents" within his family's mansion is fun.
20 & 40 Hour achievements are a pain, game can be finished in about 3 to 4 hours.
7.5/10
I've been waiting to play this game since release and now that I've got a PC I was finally able to play it. I loved it just like I did watching it be played years ago! Great game and concept. Lets Go Lucius!!
