My Opinion About This Game
This game is a 10/10.
I honestly don’t have the words for how good this game is. It’s dark, puzzling, creative — you have to find clever ways to kill, be stealthy, and think outside the box. Just wow. I was introduced to this game through YouTube when I saw a content creator playing it. Normally, when I watch someone play a game, I tend to get bored quickly when I try it myself. It’s usually more fun to watch than play.
But Lucius? It’s something different.
I got addicted to this game. I was also really motivated to complete all the achievements — and I did. 😎
I kind of compare the Lucius trilogy to the Hulk movies. The first one is a masterpiece — dark, atmospheric, and unforgettable. The second one makes you go “what the hell is happening?” but it's still great in its own chaotic way. Then the third one… well, that’s where Hulk joins Avengers team — and in Lucius III’s case, it kind of feels the same: the tone shifts, the mechanics change, and bugs are all over the place. Still has potential, but definitely needs some fixes or more say join the team.
I haven’t finished all the achievements in Lucius II and III yet, but I’m looking forward to it. Once I complete them, I’ll definitely share my thoughts on those as well.
Back to the first Lucius — this game is just wonderful. I love stealth gameplay, and this one delivers. The story is strong, and honestly, I don’t have any complaints. Even when I encountered a bug or two, it ended up being more funny than annoying.
All in all, it’s a great experience for fans of dark, horror-style games.
Thanks to the developers for this amazing experience!
Emo demon boy murders family for the exp. A very good boy indeed.
Lucius is an older title that still holds up surprisingly well today. Despite its age, the graphics and game physics remain impressive, capturing a chilling 1970s atmosphere that adds a distinct charm to its unsettling narrative. The dimly lit halls of Dante Manor, eerie background music, and vintage aesthetics all contribute to a timeless horror experience that continues to engage players years after its release.
What really sets Lucius apart is its unique concept. Instead of running from monsters, you are the threat—playing as Lucius, the devil’s son, orchestrating deaths in a Final Destination-style fashion using tricks or powers granted to you. The game’s dark, puzzle-based approach to murder is both disturbing and inventive, requiring strategy and patience rather than brute force.
While it does have occasional bugs and some dated animations, they never truly detract from the overall experience. In fact, they’ve become part of the game’s charm over time. The voice acting and storytelling, combined with its sinister tone and clever design, make Lucius a cult classic well worth revisiting.
an iconic game that really pushed the limits of the horror genre for the time
I stopped playing at chapter "Fatal Affair".
While I absolutely love the concept of this game, it is so hard to come up with ways to kill in a massive house without any tips. Sure, you have a notebook but Lucius doesn't write anything down unless you have seen something specific. If the game had a better notebook or better tips or even highlighted items in the house, it would be a lot more fun. I don't like running around for hours in a huge mansion and having to end up looking at the wiki page.
lil Jit King Von Junior da 3rd
Justice for Nancy because I'm Mommy's little helper
Ted Bundyو John W. Casey, Jeffrey Dahmerو thousands of serial killers they didn't do what this kid did.
The game director has some interesting ideas for killing people.
+RECOMENDED
I k.... 4 members of my family and my mom wanna buy me a bike for christmas 10/10
Give the devil child a timeout!
You know you want to.
adawawdawdwdad
I got this game after seeing a few youtubers play it when I was younger. I'm so glad I got to experience it myself. The lips don't match up with the dialogue and some of the animation is a bit funky, but that's to be expected from an older game.
Visai geras zaidimas patariu
Game just wasnt fun for me.
This isn't so much and Adventure game, it's honestly straight up a puzzle game. If I'd have known this, I wouldn't have tried it in the first place.
i feel like i have powers
The game is okay but theres definetly better ones out there, the 40 hour play achievement works weirdly and i am not doing all that bro
I recently remembered that this game existed and I revisited it... Not a great time. The visuals are pretty slick to this day, and I really enjoy the layout of the mansion. But the story and acting are atrocious, the gameplay is mindnumblingly repetitive, and the kills themselves are very inconsistent. Some kills are great! Quite a few others are clearly tacked on for more game-time. There's a lot of potential for a game like this, but the developers took a very boring route.
Lucius is the perfect example of something being so bad it's kinda good.
And it really is bad. The graphics, writing, gameplay, animations and voice acting are all poorly done. But not in a way that subtracts from the fun of the game.
The corny writing and clumsy (gory) animations are actually pretty charming in their own awkward indie kind of way.
No idea how but somehow the next games in the series actually get worse in visual quality and voice acting.
Recommended on a sale if you're looking for a unique, gory experience and don't mind some rough edges.
It is fun but I wouldn't mind a remaster/remake with better graphics and perhaps some improvements within the UI, but overall it's okay
It's a interesting game sadly it's very short but it's a really fun puzzle game, aside from 1 level that felt like it needed more time being made it's a great older game, if you want a fun short game buy this on sale
When a game suddenly has to be creative with their budget and time, sometimes cult classics such as Lucius are born. A phenomonal and clunky experience.
This game is super fun, the progression is good, kills are super over the top, story is pretty good, and the mechanics work great. I enjoyed collecting every achievement too.
Bought this game in 2019 after getting a hit of nostalgia from rewatching PewDiePie play this.
Still holds up great and is fun to play
Broken on new Hardware. CANT EVEN PLAY IT
it took me getting to the end of the game to finally memorize the house. 'twas fun, takes a lot of exploring to figure out what to do which i like. imagine my shock when i was allowed to see uncle tom's tango with one of the maids and using a peephole and everything, then i thought "well it is an early 2010s game it wasnt that big of a deal back then" so yeah, fun!
its fun?
Playing the role of Lucius, a six-year-old boy endowed with supernatural abilities, who is tasked with orchestrating deadly "accidents" within his family's mansion is fun.
20 & 40 Hour achievements are a pain, game can be finished in about 3 to 4 hours.
7.5/10
I've been waiting to play this game since release and now that I've got a PC I was finally able to play it. I loved it just like I did watching it be played years ago! Great game and concept. Lets Go Lucius!!
an enjoyable puzzle game.
Lovely game <666
Good game in fact
BUT, if only you watch youtube for walkthrough, game doesnt provide you much of hints of what you need to do, everything is scripted. Each chapter may take you 3 mins to finish, but find out how to beat the chapter will take you 30 hours each.
And final mission give me 7fps
This game is broken. You can never finish the last mission. Dont buy it
The game cannot even start, it just crashes after the opening cutscene. Do not buy, at least i can say that it crashes on windows 11, didnt tried win 10
nice
it is alright. sometimes it is fun to figure out how to complete the chapter. sometimes it is glitchy and/or overly difficult to complete (especially the last few chapters).
The game is challenging and not for the faint of heart. It is exactly like you would expect it to be. If you get stuck, there are plenty of tutorials and walk throughs that you can find online to aid your journey. It's a game that can be sensitive to some to play and listen to, so tread lightly if those types of things bother you.
Played through this game after buying from a hit of nostalgia from the 2012-2013 YouTube era.
Overall the game has a great concept, the atmosphere is eerie and depressing. You cant help but feel a sense of unease while playing.
For a game that came out in 2012, the amount of things you interact with during the play-through is very surprising and a big charm for the game.
However, the accessibility for the average player is very little. I found myself constantly haven't to search up where to go during missions as direction is minimal at most. Due to this, finishing the game really becomes a drag and you find yourself happy its over.
Although this game wont be updated, had it had more hints for someone playing for the first time, the experience and delivery of the game would have been exceptional.
I do think the game deserves recognition and hope the later instalments improve upon the poorer aspects of this title.
from when I originally watched PewDiePie play this as a kid I have come full circle and have finally been able to experience the game for myself, while its age shows i do think its held up quite well. it has been a teeny bit buggy but for the most part I really only struggled once I hit chapter 9 because the game would just break on me and it got quite frustrating. after stepping away for a bit I came back with the patience needed and was able to finally finish the game. I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone, it is entertaining and satisfying to play as this evil spawn of Lucifer. onto the next game, !
.
Enjoyed the game. Had a fun time. Achievements make it look better than it is though, there's no way you'll need even ten hours to complete one playthrough.
.
It's alright, had to use a guide half the time. Wish they gave more ways to kill them.
its decent
This game is very fun, i enjoyed playing through each chapter, getting confused on what to do and the little side quests you could do while going through the chapters, the only thing i would have said is having more information on what to do in each chapter as i got quite confused on trying to complete the chapters without a guide but over all it is very enjoyable!
Absolute cinema
mama, we all go to hell

Great game, far from perfect but pretty enjoyable.
If I leave it open for too long while idle then it'll bug and crash out the whole game but it is super fun!! 10/10 recommend!!!!!! Works well with Mini PC!
