I really liked this game but with the level breaking bugs I can't say the campaign is worth the buy
Pretty good campaign dode
Good campaign but having to deal with constant freezing and crashing made this a pain to even get through idk how this game runs worse on my 4070 than space marine 2 did on my 1060
(tho i like the game the freezing and crashing was too much for me so negative review it gets)

The campaign is really fun. Although, in my opinion, COD campaigns are becoming quite predictable because literally everything that's happened I was able to call it before it did, and I know I'm not that smart-- but I guess neither are they, evidently.
Also, my game crashed, like, 5 times, which is quite annoying as all I played was literally campaign and my pc is able to run games like GTA and Fortnite like nothing. I did alter the settings many times, but the game still ran pretty badly, sometimes lagging, and sometimes ultimately crashing and forcing me to start over. So, as much as I liked the campaign and enjoyed the story, I have to give this one a negative review. If you want to purchase, I'd recommend you wait until it goes on sale -- or better yet, until it's free.

Played this game (campaign) a few times ages ago and came back to it and can say it's an alright story. Exo suits are cool but their usage seems quite eh (I.W think did it better) but good thing is you complete challenges in the campaign and earn points to level up your suit. Overall, ok to get it on sale if you want to experience the story, can't speak for multi.

Spent a whole day tearing through the campaign for nostalgia. Open it up today and all the progress is gone.
the zombies is okay but not the greatest
they have these EMP zombies that turn off your exo suit
and you don't start with the suit, you have to get it by progressing through the map
and then there are the zombies that infect you so you need to get to a disinfection zone, those are a pain as well

GOATED game when its on a console 10 years ago now its unplayable. activison just straight up scam for this. they didnt even try to see if it even works on pc.
dont bother all the settings are fucked like fullscreen and borderless doesnt work capped at 23hz and when it works in windowed the game crashes every 5 mins absolute scam

best zombies in my opinion
There is still a mission breaking glitch where after 15 minutes of the mission Fisson. One of the NPC's will sit outside of the elevator you need to get into. He will do nothing. Kill him and get met with "Friendly fire will not be tolerated". Well Advanced Warfare; I only tolerate good games that don't have game breaking bugs when this game has been out for 10 years at this point. Fuck you COD.

Activision hates aside, MAN THE CAMPAIGN IS SO DAMN GOOD
Story had a Solid start and end. Engine optimization is fantastic despite mind blowing graphics even for a decade later.
Play any mission and you can say that the production value of this game is insane! There were many epic moments. Total badass at times. And despite the criticism, I loved all the techs, gadgets, etc. I didn't expect so much fun after playing Ghost.
Multiplayer and Zombie stuffs are dead. I don't understand the hate this game got, maybe its due to the pricing. It's ridiculous like every other COD yeah. But the campaign is a MUST PLAY.
Standalone story, jump right into the game right now.

I dig it. Fantastic visuals & Campaign that have aged very well. 2nd best cod future game, after the masterpiece & criminally underrated Infinite Warfare.
Keep in mind, I'm a single player primarily, so yeah.
Also, the zombie mode is a blast & features John Malkovich & the late great Bill Paxton!

in hindsight its alot better than it was at the time of release, but still not quite as memorable as it could have been.

Zombies sucks, Campaign and MP are good
Have only played the campaign as I got it a few days ago on sale for $21. It's a fair deal for that price but it is indicative of how this franchise continues to fall. Long passages of doing nothing more than walking around and other idiotic tasks like swimming down and opening the trunk on a van. Think back to the early versions; COD, United Offensive, COD2, the emphasis was on combat, not using listening devices or finding a key pad or other nonsense inserted for no other reason than to consume time. It's lazy. It also has the WORST aerial sequence I've seen in the franchise where you have no opportunity to actually engage the enemy. Instead you spend all your time running into mountains. Particularly annoying is the fact that the long dialogue sequences between missions cannot be skipped, neither can the training at the beginning be skipped. That's something they fixed after COD for Chrissakes! Probably has something to do with Hollywood actors not wanting their scenes cut; who knows? It also crashes at least once in any given session.
On the upside, the various power suits are cool and there's a great weapons selection.
Bottom line: if you can get at 21 bucks it's marginally worth it. Anymore than that and it should be a hard pass.
