Bang Bang Racing is a pure arcade racing game focused on tracks that can be completed in less than a minute. The game is distinguished by its unique visual style and pace of play (especially in maneuverability). The game even somewhat resembles Revolt (RC racing).

➕ Pros and ➖ cons

1. Pros
⠀➕ Short and intense tracks.
⠀➕ Tracks have "bonuses" in the form of barrels: with oil, water and explosives, which make it “interesting” to drive in certain places.
⠀➕ Tracks have variability: a mini-version of the track or available cuts on certain turns.
⠀➕ 5 cars to choose from in each Stage, the features of which can be - survivability, handling, acceleration, nitro, maximum speed. Depending on the type of track or mode - each car can show itself differently.
⠀➕ 4 divisions of cars. Starting from muscle cars and ending with F1 cars.
⠀➕ Game modes: standard, time trial and elimination race.
⠀➕ Local mode for up to 4 people. You can have a great time with friends playing at one computer (two players can play on one keyboard).
2. Cons
⠀➖ No multiplayer.
⠀➖ No Remote Play Together mode from Steam.
⠀➖ No track editor.
⠀➖ The record time on all tracks is 0 seconds (cheats from other players), which is impossible to beat.
⠀➖ Unreal time for gold on all variations of the “Layton Raceway” track.

💬 Impression and summary

This is one of the few races where is an interesting local multiplayer. Passing the entire campaign (including championships) will take you approximately 4-5 hours. The game also weighs up to 300 MB and is not demanding on the PC.

Advice: Choose Turbo variant of cars over all other :D

Surprisingly solid little top-down racer.
If they had spent maybe twice the effort for this game, it could have been one of the best modern titles in the genre (if that is a thing in top-down racing games)

It took me 2 hours playing the career mode to end credits, plus there are extra cups you can complete after finishing the game.
I think that is fair for the 0.99€ I spent for this game. Full price of 9.99€ might be worth it if you really love games like this.

Racing is fun and the controls are solid, AI is aggressive, challenging but fair.

Towards the end of the career mode the cars get so fast that even the camera can't keep up.
Camera is pretty bad overall, it makes you sort of seasick. Changing to fixed camera doesn't help because often you can't see where you are going.

They could have made the car upgrades better, there's not much point to strategise with different types of cars when you only need it in like one race, plus the races can be so chaotic that car doesn't matter

To be so small and simple looking, very challenging and intense small races that are really fun! A 3 minute race can end up forcing you to focus and you end up with a sigh of relief at the end of it when you win!

The better things in life are oftentimes quite simple.
